About: I have 30+ years of experience training, grooming, and providing a high standard of care in the animal world. I have trained birds for production, stage shows, and free flight. I have worked with parrots, birds of prey, and exotics. I have trained service dogs, K9 dogs, taught puppy classes, basic obedience classes, and dogs for film, production, and stage shows. I can cater to anything you need from walking difficult dogs, boarding difficult dogs, teaching and enriching the bond between animal and human, enriching the daily lives of your pet, and so much more! I have been working with bird behaviors in the home for the past several years and can help transform unwanted pet bird behaviors into a happy and healthy feathered family member! I devote my entire week to my passion: enriching the daily lives of animals and strengthening the bond between pet and human with training, reinforcement, and enrichment. I live on a small 5 acre farm. We have been here since September 2023 and are still slowly setting up, but I have kennels available for boarding, plenty of land for training, a dog yard with a confidence course, pools and sprinklers for the water dogs, and an area in the back for bird flight training. We are still building and adding things as we grow.

“Idalis is a great hostess for our dog Daisy. She is a cream lab and Idalis’s pet golden Logan was a great playmate for her. She spent 5 days there for doggie day care. The first day she was scared when we dropped her off. But the next 4 days she was super happy as soon as she saw us picked up the leash. She was ready to go! She seemed to enjoy being out of the house for some playtime and walk, and when she comes home she is tired. I know she will miss Idalis and her whole family. “So, this is going to be a bit wordy - but, I feel like every piece is necessary. To begin, you will never hunt down someone more capable, or understanding to watch your pet. I had to cancel two days, because of my stepdad being sick : and she took care of the entire process for me without a word edgewise. Even though we were terribly late ( due to my brother and stepdad having no time management ), she was willing to bend over backwards to ensure that we had everything covered and could enjoy each day of our vacation. She carried Apollo around to ensure he felt loved, including placing him in a kangaroo baby satchel. Apollo has severe separation anxiety, and I have NEVER seen him more at ease and excited then when he got back from her house. She took care of him enough to distract him from being seperated, and treated him as though he was her own. I can not thank her enough for taking care of our baby, and ensuring he had a fun vacation as well. I'll ONLY be contacting her on our next trip to Orlando, because she's more than earned our trust !! ?”
