“Mary was amazing with my dog Bella, who can be anxious in new settings. At our ‘meet and greet’ Mary came up with suggestions to ensure the visit would be successful. Because of Mary’s planning and patience, by the time I left her house Bella was relaxed and laying down. Mary and her calm, beautifully behaved dog made the house an oasis. While I was gone, Mary walked Bella when she became anxious and when I arrived to get her, Bella was completely relaxed. You can see the love that Mary has for animals and how well she reads and understands them. I am already planning to book with Mary again!”

“Always know that Marshall will be well looked-after in Adrienne’s home. Very professional and quick to respond. Marshall had a good time there today! We can always tell by how he behaves after we pick him up. 🥰”

“First time is a charm! Nicole, and family, are wonderful, friendly and amazing sitters. Bailey was completely comfortable and at ease right from the start. Nicole stayed in touch through the day with pictures and comments. The environment was friendly and playful and so much love. Highly recommend!”

About: I provide attentive, personalized care tailored to each dog’s needs, from energetic puppies to gentle senior companions. I have experience with basic training and administering medications. What sets me apart is my patience, reliability, and genuine love for animals—I treat every dog like family, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, allowing me to provide consistent attention, regular walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I maintain a flexible schedule, which means I can accommodate early mornings, evenings, and weekend care as needed. This flexibility allows me to adapt to each dog’s routine, ensuring they feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home. Got it—you can still highlight the benefit without mentioning the acreage. Here’s a clean, appealing version: I provide a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment where dogs can relax and feel comfortable. I have access to plenty of open outdoor space for fresh air and exercise, with all outdoor time closely supervised or on leash to ensure safety. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions to keep their experience consistent and stress-free. Dogs have secure areas indoors for rest, play, and feeding, and I always follow owner guidelines. My goal is to create a calm, dependable space where every dog feels at home.
“Viviana was amazing with my dog Bella. My dog needs some special attention due to an eye surgery, Viviana shared lots of pictures and we could see our dog was receiving all the care she needed and having a blast with the other dogs. I highly recommend and will definitely use their services again!”

“We dropped Hudson off this morning for daycare for the first time. Vic was very friendly and his personality was warm and inviting. His and Jackie's home is beautiful and Nala, what a beautiful fur baby! Vic sent us pictures all day long, which this Doggy Momma sooooo appreciated ( can never have too many pics of my lil Hudsie) Hudson was totally worn out when he got home so I know doggy daycare was a complete success! We are going to book again for sure! Thank you for taking such good care of our dear precious fur baby while we were away! Hudson can't wait to come back and play again!!”

About: Hello! I am a lifelong animal lover who treats every pet like a cherished member of the family. Having owned dogs and cats my entire life, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust completely to care for your fur babies. To give back to the animal community, I am currently volunteering at a local shelter, which keeps my hands-on care skills sharp and my heart full. Your pets will receive the exact same patience, love, and individual attention I give my own. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and scheduled care, and I make it a priority to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I’m dependable about arrival times and communication, and I’ll always keep you updated while your pet is in my care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your instructions carefully, respect your home, and make sure doors, gates, leashes, food, medications, and other safety needs are handled exactly as requested. I take time to help pets feel comfortable with me and never rush an animal that needs a little extra time to warm up. I’ll also keep you updated so you can feel confident that your pet is safe and well cared for.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
