“I’m very happy with Ja’s service! I have a Pitbull and a rather large German Shepherd. While the Pibble is a sweetheart the Shepherd can be a bit of a handful at times. She has a very calming demeanor and has great control over them both. She gave them extra pets and even sat in the sun with them on the balcony for a bit. She even brought in my meal delivery and put everything in the fridge for me. Will certainly book again! Especially next time I leave town! Thank you Ja!”

“Audrey is just amazing! She’s been walking my dog for 3 months and CoCo absolutely loves her and is so excited to see her. She waits for her by the window and runs to the door when Audrey shows up. I haven’t even needed Audrey except for a couple times - but I keep her regular twice a week because CoCo loves her so much. I’ve called Audrey a couple times at the last minute or to add an extra day and she always come through for me. I could not have met a more dependable, reliable, awesome, and trusted person to walk CoCo twice a week since moving here from OH! We love her and think she is great!”

About: I’ve lived with dogs for the majority of my life and have had the chance to care for plenty of pets! I volunteered with a rescue organization where my family rescued 2 dogs from! During breaks from school, I had the opportunity to work in a boarding kennel where I walked, fed, bathed, and played with all types of dogs. When available for doggie day care and boarding, I have a large fenced in yard and I have two dogs in my home, so a meet in greet would be required prior to services to ensure all pets are comfortable. This would be in New Tripoli, PA. There is a nearby creek and park that I can take your pet to for walks if you would like. I am also available for drop ins, walks and care within the owners home! In terms of walking and check ins, I can come to your home and check on your pet throughout the day and take them for walks around your home or to a local park if applicable. Right now, I am in between jobs but also commute daily in between New Tripoli and Mcadoo/Hazleton PA. I also have a pet friendly home and neighborhood to ensure safety. I am also able to travel to your home to provide care and make sure they are comfortable in their own environment.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
