“My wife and I are very protective of our little dachshund Wella. When we read Julie's first response to our request, we knew right away that she and her family were the mature and responsible people we could trust to watch our dog. Julie sent multiple updates and photos to us while she had Wella, and that was very nice and reassuring. They did so great with Wella that she seemed to want to stay longer! The kids played so much with Wella that she needed to sleep in the next day! Great experience with Julie and her family and We are looking forward to using her again !!”

Two days before his stay with Lorraine he was bit by a spider and had an allergic reaction and she agreed to administer medication and took a great care of him. About: Since I was born, I’ve always had dogs! Over my life, I’ve had seven dogs of my own. I currently have 3 large dogs, one medium. Since I was ten, me and my family have been fostering dozens of dogs of all different kinds! Newborn puppies, seniors, and every puppy in between. I’ve dealt with aggressive dogs, skittish dogs, and nervous nellies. I love dogs no matter what! Since beginning to foster, I’ve had to train many dogs, both younger and older. I’m skilled in leash training, commands (sit/lay/come), and much more. As of right now, my schedule is completely open! I am happy to accommodate to early mornings, late nights, and everything in between to fit you and your puppy’s needs! I live in the woods, far from dangerous, busy roads. I have PLENTY of room for running, playing, and walking. I have multiple walking trails behind my house, as well as a pond that my puppies love to play in. I currently have two very friendly dogs at my house, who can be separated need be via a soft gate I have in my home. I have multiple crates available if your puppy needs it. My house is full of toys, treats, and dog beds. A dog’s paradise! If not in my home, I will be sure to abide by all house rules set by my client!

About: I used to hate cats when I was a kid until I got my first cat, Sombra. She was found on the side of the road as a kitten by a friend and asked if my mother and I could take her in. I was hesitant at first, but decided to give her a chance. 9 years later, and I love her to death, despite her feisty attitude. Most recently,2 years ago, I found 2 more black kittens in an abandoned building, a brother and sister. We took them in with the intention of fostering them until they were old enough to adopt out, but unfortunately, since black cats aren't popular, no one wanted them. I decided to keep them for myself, and now Milan and Marcille are happily living together, with Sombra. (all of my cats are indoor cats)

About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.

“I’m very happy with Ja’s service! I have a Pitbull and a rather large German Shepherd. While the Pibble is a sweetheart the Shepherd can be a bit of a handful at times. She has a very calming demeanor and has great control over them both. She gave them extra pets and even sat in the sun with them on the balcony for a bit. About: I’ve lived with dogs for the majority of my life and have had the chance to care for plenty of pets! I volunteered with a rescue organization where my family rescued 2 dogs from! During breaks from school, I had the opportunity to work in a boarding kennel where I walked, fed, bathed, and played with all types of dogs. I am familiar with all ages of dogs and the care required. Even though I have had most of my life experiences be with dogs, I had the chance to volunteer at a cat rescue as well! When available for doggie day care and boarding, I have a large fenced in yard and I have two dogs in my home, so a meet in greet would be required prior to services to ensure all pets are comfortable. This would be in New Tripoli, PA. There is a nearby creek and park that I can take your pet to for walks if you would like. I am also available for drop ins, walks and care within the owners home! In terms of walking and check ins, I can come to your home and check on your pet throughout the day and take them for walks around your home or to a local park if applicable. Right now, I am in between jobs but also commute daily in between New Tripoli and Mcadoo/Hazleton PA. I am looking to pick up some walking and drop in shifts at this time within the locations of those two towns. I have a large fenced in yard for your pet to be able to roam freely and safely. I also have a pet friendly home and neighborhood to ensure safety. I am also able to travel to your home to provide care and make sure they are comfortable in their own environment.
About: I have had dogs since I was 12. They have always been a favorite animal of mine. My family would always ask me to watch there dogs for them when they went away. I am off 2 days a week and I just wanted that time to spend taking care of dogs. I like to go on hikes and run around with my dog. I have a decent sized yard for your pups! My dog is also very friendly and would love some company whenever she can get it! I’m up to doing whatever you want for your pet.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. When I lived with my dad, we had 2 chihuahuas and 2 pit mixes. I’ve also had bunnies, fish, and birds. I’ve taken care of a chinchilla for a friend. I also used to have a guinea pig named Asher! I am experienced with different animals. I am self employed and have school online for real estate at my own pace, so I am free pretty much any day and any time unless I have an appointment that day! Then I can work after! “Lorraine was great with my English bulldog Blu. She was very quick in responding to my messages. Two days before his stay with Lorraine he was bit by a spider and had an allergic reaction and she agreed to administer medication and took a great care of him. When we picked him up he looked happy and healthy so much so that he couldn’t care less that we were there to pick him up lol. Blu had a great time and we recommend and use Lorraine for future stays. About: Since I was born, I’ve always had dogs! Over my life, I’ve had seven dogs of my own. I currently have 3 large dogs, one medium. Since I was ten, me and my family have been fostering dozens of dogs of all different kinds! Newborn puppies, seniors, and every puppy in between. I’ve dealt with aggressive dogs, skittish dogs, and nervous nellies. I love dogs no matter what! Since beginning to foster, I’ve had to train many dogs, both younger and older. I’m skilled in leash training, commands (sit/lay/come), and much more. As of right now, my schedule is completely open! I am happy to accommodate to early mornings, late nights, and everything in between to fit you and your puppy’s needs! I live in the woods, far from dangerous, busy roads. I have PLENTY of room for running, playing, and walking. I have multiple walking trails behind my house, as well as a pond that my puppies love to play in. I currently have two very friendly dogs at my house, who can be separated need be via a soft gate I have in my home. I have multiple crates available if your puppy needs it. My house is full of toys, treats, and dog beds. A dog’s paradise! If not in my home, I will be sure to abide by all house rules set by my client!

Our female is 8 years old and has a harder time boarding at a kennel.
