“Mandi was incredibly perfect for my family! I booked her for my parents while I was a few states away, and Mandi was awesome at communicating and setting up a visit with my parents! Their cat (was originally my cat, but my other cats would chase her) has a habit of grabbing her tail which leaves some minor scratches and requires some ointment application. Mandi applied it as needed and let us know when that was! She was also able to adjust her visits as my parents ended up leaving later than anticipated, and got back a day early. I would most certainly recommend Mandi for your pet sitting needs!”

“Amanda takes great care of our dog family with pictures and feedback of her visit while she's there. We feel so good being away and knowing they are in her care.”

“Susan was fantastic! All of her updates for Charolette were thorough and made me feel at ease that my pup was doing good while I was gone. Would highly recommend Susan as a sitter for anyone’s dogs!”

“Cari is always wonderful with Kevin! I never have to worry about him when she takes care of him. 10/10 my favorite sitters on Rover. Thank you Cari!”

“Rylie made daily visits for my 2 cats over Thanksgiving week and was very attentive with excellent attention to detail. Her communication was superb. Would hire again and recommend to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter.”

“My dog's loved Zoe from the minute she walked in the door! She is very sweet and kind. She has done a great job with my crew of 4. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have over 25 years of dog breeding experience and I would love to care for your loved ones in our home. Large home and plenty of running room in our spacious yard. I cannot take care of male dogs over 30 lbs due to a female dog in the household. I can take care of female fur babies of less than 30 lbs. I work from home and have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention he or she needs. Taking care of dogs are my specialty. I have a fenced in yard and a female lab who loves to go for walks and play. Your fur baby will have plenty of friends caring for him or her.

“So nice and took care of my TipToe so well! She sent many pictures and even pet my other cats!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. From massive Collies to tiny Chihuahuas. So I'm ready for the energy or stillness that they require. No two dogs are the same and I believe they all require tailored care. I will take the time to get to know them and provide them with care that leaves them feeling recognized and loved. I love taking them for walks, belly rubs, playing, and quiet time. I am also able to groom if needed. Im happy to follow instructions and any advice you have. I am free every day except Saturday and Sunday as of now. Night time I am free every night. I am in the process of looking for a part time job and will update this as needed. As I provide client home care it looks different from client to client. Every dog has different needs and schedules, I'm always open to learn them. I take advice and feedback seriously and love to improve.

“My first time using Rover and I can't express how pleased I was. Amanda was wonderful. I loved receiving the updates and pictures from her. It really eased my mind knowing how my fur boy was doing every day. She took excellent care of Strypes!!”

“Kathryn does a great job taking care of our three cats. We’ve used her services several times and have been very happy.”

“Casey was so wonderful to our cat Peppa! She gave very thorough updates, photos, and videos every day and everything was spotless and clean when we returned. She was wonderful about keeping in touch and we would absolutely book her again!”

About: Residents of Glenwood Apartments in Old Bridge have priority! Until JUNE 16th I am NOT available for weekday mornings! AFTERNOONS ONLY! [ABOUT ME] I was a puppy raiser for The Seeing-Eye between 2005 and 2016. My family raised 6 puppies starting at 8 weeks old, so I am well-versed in both puppy care and training. As puppy raisers it is our job to socialize our puppies to new environments and teach them basic obedience and manners as they will need to be well-behaved in public for their future blind partner. I also formerly worked at the family dog training school. I've lived with primarily German Shepherds, as well as a pitbull and collie. Though I have met and understand a wide variety of dog breeds. My animal experience doesn't stop at dogs & cats, either! I've personally owned or cared for rats, gerbils, mice, guinea pigs, freshwater fish, snakes, lizards and even horses!

“Shelly was amazing and my dogs enjoyed her caring for them. Loved all the photos she sent letting me know they were in good hands. Thank you,???”

“She was good with my dog and she did a great job thank you”

About: I’ve pet sit cats, dogs, fish and birds starting from when I was a teen! I started with neighbor’s pets, then family and friends, and eventually others as they found me by word of mouth. I have four cats, a dog, and some fish of my own, and I love meeting other pets. I’ve also had experience giving medicine to cats as well as dogs, and am not afraid to try working with other types of pets. I know a lot of folks will be going on vacation over the summer and I’d love to help out as I look for a way to keep busy while school is out! I will have a fairly open schedule during the summer months when school is out, and I can usually juggle things around to fit your needs! I like to have detailed instructions for each pet I sit so I can make the transition for your pet as easy as possible! I have had other jobs caring for the elderly in their homes, so I am well practiced at adapting to my clients preferences and needs. I also always make it a rule to leave someone’s home as well or better than I found it!

About: I have experience caring for cats, dogs and iguanas. I love all animals and have specific experience with medicating them - both dogs and cats for oral medications. I do know how to give cats SQ fluids as well. I am a nurse by trade. I am very lucky - I work from home and make my own schedule as a supervisor. I am able to give your animals the attention that they require, if they do board with me I will not be leaving for work. I have a 3 bedroom home. I do have the ability to use a baby gate and separate part of the home if your cat and mine did not seem to be getting along. I do allow cats on the furniture, couches, in the bed etc. I want them to be comfy and feel safe. I have big windows and a cat window seat for them to use. My cat is an indoor only cat so your cat will not be tempted to go outside.

“April is absolutely fantastic! My boyfriend and I are usually able to be home with our furbaby but we had a schedule change the next few weeks and I’m so thankful we found April! Stella is usually on the shy side but after meeting April and her husband Stella loved them and we knew she was a perfect fit. Stella warmed up to them both quicker than she has with most people (she sensed they’re dog lovers!) You can tell talking with her that she has a great knowledge of dogs and caring for them. I felt completely comfortable with her stopping in and taking care of our baby while we couldn’t be there. Stella & I would recommend if you’re looking for pet care to contact April, we will definitely be using her for the duration of our schedule change and likely after as well!”

About: I grew up always having a pet in my childhood home, cats and dogs, and have much experience taking care of my own and others pets. In high school my main way of earning money was taking care of my aunts 2 German shepherds on a daily basis after school. Since then I have pet sat countless friends and families fur babies. I have been a pet mom since I was 18 (12 years) and now have 4 of my own, 2 dogs and 2 cats. I am also a (human) mom of a 1 year old girl. I have cared for 160 lb Rottweilers to 2 week old kittens to horses, chickens and goats. I have been told I am naturally nurturing and I have always found caring for animals to come easily and to be extremely enjoyable. I consider myself very experienced with all sorts of animal needs. I am strong advocate of animal rights and treat animals with the same respect I would a person. Outside of Rover I have been a self employed small business owner in the service industry since 2019. I pride myself in my customer service and communication skills. I am always very responsible and reliable because my livelihood depends on it. If you book with me you will be very pleased with my laid back yet capable attitude. I fully believe in my ability to give you and your furbabies excellent service :) I work part time an I am available for dog/cat sitting on Monday’s and Tuesdays during the day. During the week I am the sole caregiver of my 1 year old daughter and she will be with me while taking care of your pets. She has been exposed to our animals since birth and has learned how to interact with our dogs and cats. She is gentle and kind to animals. Child friendly dogs and cats are a must. My home sits on a 1/2 acre and I have a fenced in yard. My pets have free range of my home apart from our bedrooms which stay closed while we are not in them. I do have the option to keep my pets separated from yours if that’s preferred or needed.

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. My family managed an animal shelter and I was featured in a "Cool to Care" pamphlet by the National Humane Education Society, that was sent out to schools all around the country. I grew up fostering animals, elderly, disabled and babies. I can bottle feed a kitten or even give shots if needed. I've seen animals from all kinds of backgrounds. I hope to make caring for animals my full time career. I work nights serving at a restaurant a few days a week so most of my days are free to do pet care. I'm free almost all weekdays. Depending on the clients rules for the animals is how I would care for them. I am very big on animals emotions though. I don't do "hard discipline" however I am more than happy to follow the owners routines and training plans.

Taylor M.
“Wow. Wow. Wow. Taylor went above and beyond my expectations. My dog is VERY old and VERY high needs. He is a 15 year old Border Collie with extreme back leg issues but the typical BC desire to run/walk for as long as possible. He can’t get to a standing position on his own and some times falls when he goes potty. Taylor was so incredibly sweet to him. She let him take his time on their walks. She made sure he was snuggly and warm and had his food and drink close to him at all times. Taylor really was more than I could have asked for as a dog sitter. Senior handicap dogs are very difficult and Taylor treated him with all the love and respect. Can’t recommend her enough.”
