“It was a pleasure having Claire watch Pote this past weekend. She was always on time, very communicative and super sweet! We felt very reassured knowing Pote was in such good hands. We will definitely be using Claire again!!”

“Vanessa and Jeremy were wonderful with Milton! He loves treats and playtime and they gave him lots of both- even sparking his interest with a different wand toy. I will definitely book with Vanessa in the future.”

“Elizabeth is so sweet, warm, and loving! I can tell just how much she loves our dogs and they love her too. We are so excited for Elizabeth to walk our babies every day!”

“I was impressed with Kim! From day one, the cats bonded with her, which is unusual, especially when meeting someone new. She went above and beyond doing what was asked, including crushing pills, giving them attention if they wanted it and opening the door so they could get some fresh air and sun through the screen. By the third day they were following her around the house. She's light on her feet and very patient with them. To add perspective, when my adult children come home, the cats hide, even though two of the cats grew up with the kids. Before the week was over, I had already booked her for several other times this summer!”

About: I had dogs growing up and cats since 2007. We added our rescue dog in 2020 at my sons' and my request. I've pet sat for friends and family when they have taken trips. Hi! I currently have open availability and am looking to make pet care my full-time employment. Whether you're looking for someone to host your pet in a safe and loving home, or prefer in-home visits at your residence, I'm happy to accommodate your needs. Lots of playtime, love, and attention! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or special requests—I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Hi there! I'm a dedicated pet lover offering a safe, loving environment for your furry family member. Our home features a fully fenced, spacious, and professionally maintained backyard — perfect for running, playing, or just lounging in the sun. We have a friendly mixed German Shepherd who absolutely loves making new canine friends. Your pup will have a built-in buddy and plenty of space to play safely. Our yard is also professionally treated for mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas, so your dog can enjoy the outdoors without worry. Our family truly loves animals and treats every pet like one of our own — with affection, attention, and lots of tail-wagging fun. Whether you’re looking for overnight boarding or daytime companionship, your dog will be welcomed with open arms (and a wagging tail!). Looking forward to meeting you and your best friend!

“Rachel was very punctual, caring and did the extra step. I would happily recommend her!”

About: I’ve been around dogs since birth! I had an English mastiff when I was born and I have another one now. I’ll no stranger to small dogs as I’ve had other dogs like pug’s and labs. I know how to take care of a dog, get them to follow direction, and keep them good company. No dog is a challenge for me and I’m willing to work with any dog. I currently go to school for medical assistant mon-thurs from morning- 12:45 so I am available afternoon-night everyday! I am very flexible and can work with you. In my own home I feed my dog, brush, give oral medication, lightly train tricks, and most of all give the love they need and deserve

About: Since I had my childhood dog, I haven't stopped adopting dogs. Everyone needs a fur baby! I have watched and owned dogs of all sizes and I love to play and exercise them. I can take long walks with them if your pet enjoys. I work a flexible part time position and can care for your pet anytime day or night. I can do mid day walks as well as morning and evening. I cannot board your dog but I can go to your home. My cats at home will not like other friends in their space. :(

About: I have been taking care and pet sitting all kinds of pets and animals since I was 16 years old. I have worked in dog daycares and boarding facilities for around 3 years. I have been trained in dog behavior, temperament, and care. I have a lot of experience with providing dogs and other pets with the proper care they deserve. I love all kinds of animals and want to provide the best care for your pets. I am currently not working so I have lots of available time to provide visits and care for your pets. I am more available during the daytime but can do evening visits as well. I cannot provide care in my own home but I am very open and willing to provide care in my clients home. I love and care about routines so any routine your pet needs to follow I will be able to provide that in my clients home.

About: Hi, we are Ramon and Margarita. We have been dog parents for many years and will care for your fur baby like our own as they will immediately be part of our family. We have also been foster dog parents and have successfully transitioned countless fur babies in need to their forever homes. If you are new to Rover, use our code MARGAG38540, to get $20 OFF your first booking. We both work from home so we will be with your pet 24/7. We will provide your fur baby with a warm, comfortable and friendly home. We have a super friendly ‘foster fail’ lab that’s 4 years old. Ruby is taken out for her walks to the park 3x a day and will add your pet to this regimen if they enjoy the outdoors and being active.

“Thank you for being available and open to help me with my my pets meds intake!”

About: I have either owned or taken care of dogs since I was very young. I began dog sitting around 10 years ago. I can come to your home or do in home visits. I have taken care of dogs of all sizes from Cane Corsos to Bassett Hounds and many more. I currently work part time as a crossing guard in my community. That gives me a lot of extra time especially in the summer to care for my animals as well as others. I have a separate room for cats to stay in that has a screen door. They can see out but not get out as well as my cats can see in but not get in.

“Shauntia quickly became our dog's best friend, and I am sure that your dog will luv her too! Miles is our 170 lb. Great Dane (lovable, gentle, but BIG) so we were impressed with how quickly Shauntia built a great rapport with him. When you invite Shauntia to care for your pet, you can be sure that it wont simply be a "visit" but it will be time that your pet will genuinely enjoy spending with her.”

About: I've been caring for small pets such as, Hamsters, Guinea-pigs and Fish (from goldfish, etc. to Oscars, etc.) from a very young age. Therein, for example, when I was still a little girl, my friend and neighbor could no longer care for their beloved, hamster, Andy; who did they think of... me ! So, Andy, the hamster was adopted and added to the fold. Next, Cats and Dogs. When my neighbor found a stray cat had given birth in their shed closet, again, who did they call?! I adopted one of the 3 kittens; adopting their sibling from the same liter soon after the first adoptee, was unable to care for it. I began caring for Angel and Geisha, my first two cats. Last but not least, Dogs... Cream was a white Pittie, whose owner, again, became unable to care for her so she lived with me and my 2 year old daughter at the time, and they loved each other dearly. After, finding Cream a permanent home, I had the honor of caring for other dogs for friends and neighbors even the homeless, from which I cared for Lulu, a pittie, living with her owner on the street. However, she received a healthy diet, vet care and patience, training to reverse some of the habits she developed living on the street. Now, although, I've cared for others such as Bamboo, the Pitbull, that seemed to take care of himself, lol and Karma, who needed a foster during the Covid pandemic; I'm entrusted with the care of my Pittie/German-Sheppard Gran-pet baby, Nasir aka Nas, while my daughter's in college. Nice enough, I still get to switch it up and care for the Cats (and small pets) of various friends and neighbors in my community. With that, I try o create a Pet-care Staycation like atmosphere when boarding or Home care while pet-parents are away and a Family like atmosphere for Fosters. I look forward to meeting your furry friends and four legged family members :) Pet care is not only therapeutic, it fits into my schedule perfectly, since I am a semi-retired administrative professional who suffered an untimely stroke at a young age. However. after an almost miraculous recovery, I'd like to move forward in a direction that nurtures my empathetic personality. Therein, leaving the desk behind, affording me with a more active lifestyle, all year round. As to that, my days generally consist of assisting my daughter with her dog, exercise, personal errands and volunteering a few hours a week. Although, I take pet care jobs occasionally, I'd like to "officially"extend my services to do something I love (I believe I'm good at it.) and rewarding because the pets (my clients) always seem to appreciate it. I have a fenced in yard and super friendly and silly, one year old fur gran-baby that would be happy to show a visiting canine "the ropes", lol. I can also crate and/or crate train your dog(s), when necessary. They will always have access to clean water; be walked consistently and fed on time and kept in a clean an organized space, whether at your home or mine. I make sure to follow pet parents care instructions. I send photos or video of fun moments to give insight as to how your pets are doing and cared for. I play, pet and communicate with each pet in their way to build trust, friendship and joy while their pet parents are away. In addition, I have had some dog training in the recent past and will have more dog training in the near future to help me care for our hairy pals compassionately and efficiently. [NOTE to Drop-in Clients: Please understand, Safety is a concern for Everyone; pet care givers, pet parents and pets. I work on a basis of professional Trust between all parties, including the pet party. All I can offer are my Referrals, my Word as a trusted professional and a background check conducted by Rover. I expect the same appropriate professionalism, trustworthiness and mutual respect from those who accept my Services. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.] I look forward to working with you. ;-)

Ronald B.Star Sitter
“My wife and I adopted our dog five years ago, at the height of the pandemic. Of course, the only way to socialize her was during walks. Even then she was tentative, if not on the defensive, when engaging with other dogs and their owners. This was by no means the case with Ron and his pup. I’ve since witnessed that Ron is especially good with all dogs, and his dog is evidence of this. Janey‘s anxiety and hyper-attachment to us remains. Ron’s offer to take care of her for a long-weekend was the only one we considered (and accepted more than once.) Not only are we sure Janey will always be in excellent hands, but we’re confident that she’ll feel safe and secure in our absence.”

Rachel S.Star Sitter

“Rachel was very punctual, caring and did the extra step. I would happily recommend her!”

She is super organized and left my house (and dogs!) spotless. She is super responsive and always gets back to me right away. I always look forward to going away because I know my fur babies are in excellent hands with Sheila!”

Kayla P.
“I cannot recommend Kayla highly enough as a pet sitter. She is everything you would hope to find when trusting someone with your beloved animals—responsible, reliable, and incredibly caring. Kayla has a natural connection with animals, and it’s clear from the moment she meets them that she treats every pet as if they were her own. Kayla is extremely attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether it’s administering medication, sticking to a feeding schedule, or simply spending quality time playing and cuddling. She’s detail-oriented, communicates clearly and regularly, and always keeps me updated with photos and notes, which gives me complete peace of mind when I’m away. What truly sets Kayla apart is her genuine love for animals, her professionalism, and her ability to handle any situation with calm and confidence. Whether it's a last-minute booking or special instructions, she always goes above and beyond. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and experienced to care for your pets, Kayla is the one.”

Margarita G.Star Sitter
“Margarita has been my next door neighbor for the last 18 years. I have seen her take great care of countless animals. From pet sitting to fostering to just being a go to neighbor for help, she is there. As a former state trooper, my hours were unpredictable and I could always count on Margarita to step in at a moment’s notice to feed and walk my boxer and give him the exercise he required. You cannot ask for a better dog sitter.”

Cristian R.
