About: Reliable. Responsible. Nurturing. Patient. Flexible. True Dog Lover. Professional belly rubber and snuggler. I will care for your baby like they are my very own. I am currently working part time and we are working on starting up our own business in this field that we truly are passionate about! I have a fenced in yard. Cleanliness is a must as well as a great routine still filled with lots of love and dedicated care.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and temperaments. I trained my family corgi from a puppy. Friends and family around me often ask me to care for their dogs during the day. I work from home full-time but can take breaks every few hours (at least). I'm up early and can be flexible with your pet's needs. I will always treat your pets with care and love like they are my own. I want you and your pups to be very happy with the experience.

About: With a genuine love for animals and years of caring for my own pups I provide reliable, compassionate care for your pets while you’re away. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or administering medication, I’m committed to ensuring your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their routine. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality, and I pride myself on building trust with both pets and owners. Whether it’s a long weekend or a quick drop-in visit, I make sure your pet receives the attention they deserve. I am currently working full time from home which allows me a great deal of flexibility for walks and potty breaks through out the day! I live in a townhome home with my own furr baby Snicker, with plenty of space for and great company for our pups to run around. We have a semi fenced in patio to hang out on nice days or potty breaks if needed.

“Tawanda is by far one of the best sitters we could have left our pup with. Conveniently right outside of the city, Tawanda’s home could have easily been Nemo’s second home. With a backyard big enough to fulfill his doggy needs, Tawanda’s space would be great for any pup that likes to run around and have a good ol time with the company of her sweet dog Sampson. Tawanda was great on keeping us updated on Nemo’s status and even sending us pictures and videos during his visit. I would highly recommend this sitter and will definitely will be using her in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and spent my college and grad school years caring for friends, classmates, and neighbors pets. I look forward to bonding with your pup! I just moved here and I have a lot of free time before I start my job in October. Once I start work, I will have 4 days off a week and would love to continue with this. I am very hands on and want to bond with every animal I meet. I am willing and able to meet and exceed any expectations when it comes to pet care.

About: I have had a variety of different types of four-legged babies throughout my life from the beginning and can't imagine a world without them! I'm thrilled to be a part of the Rover community, and always appreciate the opportunity to care for yours! As a devoted lifelong pet owner myself, I understand the unique needs and joys that come with caring for animals of all ages, sizes and personalities! Whether your child needs lots of attention or is indifferent, takes medication like a treat or requires a trick, gets along well with others or not…as long as you share what they need to live their best life while you’re away I will make it happen! In addition to Rover, I own a small business ("furEver heArt") creating custom, interactive pet artwork! I'm happy to offer a discount on an original "furEver heArt" creation for all of my Rover clients! I'm currently not working and am doing Rover full time. While I may step out for an hour or two, I am home the majority of the day. I have a pug pup too and sometimes she comes with me on drop ins if you have a socialized pup who’s down for a play date! I live in an apartment and don't have a fenced in yard, but my community has plenty of green spaces and dog park for potty breaks and light walking. I have several repeat clients, some who I have never met in person. I understand it can be unsettling to leave your fur-child in the care of a complete stranger! When doing drop in/walking visits, I will respect your home, your privacy, and your pet(s).

“Evan and Sarah were amazing with Arlo! They watched Arlo for me while I was working and he loved playing with their puppy, Nelly! I will 100% be booking with them again.”

About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember—starting with my own pets, then helping family and friends, and eventually fostering cats/kittens and dogs/pupies for several years. I’m deeply experienced with all kinds of personalities—from playful puppies to shy rescues—and I know how to make animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it’s daily walks, cuddle time, or special attention for nervous pets, I treat every animal like they’re my own. You can count on me for reliable, attentive, and compassionate care. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life—whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or just spending quiet time with animals, it’s second nature to me. I’ve fostered for years and regularly care for pets of family and friends, so my schedule is already built around making sure animals are safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m used to adjusting my routine to meet each pet’s needs, whether that means early morning walks, medication schedules, or extra cuddle time. I work from home so that’s super helpful. I treat every pet like a little soul in my care—whether they’re staying with me or I’m in their space. In my home, I create a calm, cozy vibe with safe spaces, soft spots to rest, and plenty of love (plus playtime, if they’re into that!). When I’m in your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely so they feel grounded and secure. I move with their energy—whether that means zoomies, belly rubs, or quiet companionship.

“Christina was absolutely wonderful with my puppy Bear. She updated me with pictures and notes about how he was doing. This was the longest he has been with out me and he was very comfortable and happy in care. I will definitely book her serves again.”

Washington Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Liliana took such great care of my 3 month old puppy Shelby! She was incredibly kind, patient, and communicative throughout the whole daycare. Even when Shelby had a few little accidents (as puppies do!), she handled everything with understanding and kept me updated with thoughtful messages as well. I could tell Shelby felt relax and cared for in her home. Thank you so much!

Marcus is an absolute gem! From the moment we booked, he was kind, communicative, and incredibly accommodating — even when our schedule changed last-minute. Our dog Ranger had the best day ever with him and came home happy, relaxed, and totally worn out in the best way. It was such a relief to find someone we could trust to watch our pup while we explored the city. We can’t recommend Marcus enough — he’s a dog whisperer and a total lifesaver!

I travel a lot for work and my pooch comes everywhere with me. This time around I traveled to Charlotte and enrolled my dog in doggy daycare while I was at the office. When I came to pick up Bucky he didn't want to leave. Which is amazing considering how skittish he tends to be around new faces. It's safe to say we've both found our designated boarder/dog sitter anytime we're in town. Would give 6 stars if I could. Thanks Lindsay!

My first time having to get a sitter for my 5 month old pup baby. Tawanda and her pup baby made sure he felt like he was home. I can truly say he had a blast, it was more like a play date for him. He is worn out now, he came home and got in the bed and went to sleep, he played so hard. She took very good care of him as if he was hers. We stayed in contact with each other and she sent me a video, so I can see his status. I highly recommend her because if I need her service again I will be contacting to request her. 10/10 Thanks Tawanda!

I am extremely happy with this sitter! We used Shelby when our family went to Carowinds. I have a large dog with a even bigger personality. Shelby knew to take the dogs on a parallel walk to get them comfortable. She's knowledgeable and patient with your dog. Max went right with her when he normally doesn't want to leave my side. I highly recommend Shelby and only wish she lived in my state. Ju

Our last day care for the semester and Jasmine has been so amazing. She is thoughtful and has given my dog so much love and joy. I always feel at peace leaving my Oliver with Jasmine and her husband. You won’t need to think twice about trusting them with your pet :) We look forward to some playtimes hopefully during the summer!

Sara was great. She was able to help me last minute and was easy to communicate with. She was patient with my pup, he unfortunately has separation anxiety and I feel it has higher since we relocated to NC. I will definitely reach out to Sara if I need someone to watch over my baby again. Thanks Sara 🙏
