“Tracy took great care of our pups over their weekend stay. She and her husband always have fun things for the dogs to do to keep them busy. They also spoil the dogs with special treats! I would highly recommend them and will use them for our next out of town trip.”

“Great service and excellent communication. She sent pictures and videos throughout the stay, which really reassured me that the dogs were having fun and well taken care of. Highly recommend! Will book again.”

“Deanna was great! Easy to work with and my dog and cat were well taken care of! Also very flexible with timing and willing to work with me even though it was short notice. Great experience overall!”

“Paul is AMAZING! We met him at a neutral park first. My PJ liked him. Then we met Blaze, who is a very friendly pup. Paul sent pictures and was very responsive while I was gone. I will DEFINITELY call on him again!”

“London was great! Georgie came home happy and relaxed after a 9-day stay while I was traveling. I got daily updates and felt reassured the entire time that Georgie was in good hands.”

“So happy with our boarding experience with Travis and Julie! This was our 1st time with them and felt very comfortable leaving Luna with them. Very caring family, would definitely use them again. Luna was very happy when we picked her up!”

“This family is amazing! My kiddo gets to sleep with her son. Plenty of play times. MoMo went straight to nap right after I picked him up! She is very nice and transparent with me by sending tons of pictures and videos. I did not have to wait for her tex! She always respond to my text with in 5-10 mins. We have been on a road trip and my kiddo hasn’t been eating much. When I told her that momo might not be eating because of new place and the road trip, she figured out the way to increase Momo appetite! She is so sweet and caring. It put my mind in peace boarding my dog with her!”

“Kaylynn very well might be the best dog sitter in all of San Antonio let alone this website. Her care for my puppy Ridley has not only been tremendous, but she also has the cutest little puppy (Star) that is almost the exact same age as my puppy! She has clear experience with all aspects of dog care at every age, and this has directly aided me in coming up with new mechanisms to help my dog through the teething process. If you have the opportunity to meet Kaylynn beforehand, what will impress you is her clear love of ALL animals. This is the type of person where you can have peace of mind when you leave your puppy with someone who is otherwise a stranger. I've had plenty of experiences (mostly good but a couple of bad ones) with Rover, but Kaylynn is very clearly in the upper echelon of sitters you can find. Thank you so much for your excellent care of Ridley! It means a lot to me.”

“Daisy And Her Daughter Were Amazing! The Communication was great and she took great care of my baby! She Also Sent pics throughout his stay which made me super happy! I will definitely use her in the future! 10/10 would recommend!”

About: Hi! My name is Kenzie Baulier and I’m an Animal Science major at Texas A&M, working toward a certificate in Equine Science. I plan to go to veterinary school in the future because caring for animals has always been my passion. I have 4–5 years of experience dog sitting and walking, and I’ve also fostered dogs of different breeds and personalities. In my free time, I volunteer at the Aggieland Humane Society, where I get hands-on experience helping animals in need. Along with small animals, I also work with horses as part of my job at A&M, so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping your pets company, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I’d love the chance to help care for your pets and give you peace of mind while you’re away! 🐾 I work part-time but have a very flexible schedule during the week and on weekends. Fitting in pet care is never an issue, so your pets can get the attention and care they need whenever you need it! I have a fenced-in yard, plus access to a neighborhood dog park and a locked-in grassy field, so your pets can safely run, play, and explore. My roommate has a friendly dog, but I keep him separate when caring for other dogs, ensuring a safe and stress-free environment for your pet.
“I highly recommend Makayla Pet Sitters! My three dogs received the care and attention they needed, and she kept me posted on my babies. Mayla is very friendly, trustworthy and dependable. You will not be disappointed!”

About: Hi, I’m Marcela! I’m a dedicated animal lover who treats all pets like family. Patient, observant, communicative and detail-oriented, I’ll follow your routines to a T and would love to send plenty of photo updates. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes as well as farm animals. I spent over 3 years living on a ranch with my family, and that’s where I learned most of my responsibility and animal care. Day to day I helped with feeding, watering, cleaning, and checking on animals like goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. I am currently staying at home 24/7, so your pet’s safety and happiness will be my #1 priority. I am currently working a part-time job, usually working morning shifts so I have a lot of time to take care of your babies! I do not have a fenced yard but I would make sure your fur baby gets its daily outside-time as needed and/or requested

I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, attention, and lots of care. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you can feel confident that your fur baby is in good hands! About: I’ve had pets for 6 years now. I got my first Ragdoll cat in 2020, then raised a black Labrador from a puppy in 2021. We spent a lot of time together and went on a lot of trips, so he’s pretty used to new places and changes. My friends used to call my pets “travel pets.” In 2024, I also got a Siamese cat. I’m very used to having pets around all the time and spending long hours with them. I really enjoy being with animals. Being around pets makes me happy and gives me a lot of energy, and I’m more than happy to spend time just hanging out with them, playing, walking, or keeping them company. I’m a PhD student at Texas A&M, and I mostly work from home since my work is computer-based. I don’t need to go into an office except for occasional meetings, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I usually like to take pets out first thing after I wake up, and during the day I have plenty of breaks where I’m happy to spend time playing with them or just hanging out. I’m around most of the day, so pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I often watch my friends’ pets, especially when they go home for holidays or travel, so I’m used to caring for pets that are new to me. I’m pretty good at getting pets to feel comfortable quickly, and I always take things slow and let them set the pace. I keep my place clean and calm, and I’m careful about safety and routines. I want pets to feel safe and relaxed, not stressed.
About: as someone who has worked with children and pets frequently in the past, i’m very committed to providing responsible care, as well as it bringing joy to my heart to spend time with sweet little furry friends! i am currently unemployed, so willing to be flexible with whatever timing! i’m super excited to go for walks/take dogs to the park! i also have a border collie puppy of my own that i would prefer to take with me to visits, but can leave at home if that causes unease! i have a wonderful border collie puppy named Astrid and we have a lot of fun with her, we enjoy playing fetch and tug of war with her, and she’s learning a lot through her routines and training

97% of sitters in Washington can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Washington.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Washington sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
