“I really hope we can do this again together. My girls were so happy and well cared for. I really liked the updates and jr was lovely seeing how relaxed my girls were even though I’d been gone for five days. Jordan took notes when we left and it helped to ease my mind. She was just wonderful.”

“Megan was a great dog sitter. She was able to do drop-ins with only two days notice. She arranged her visits for three dogs staying at my house. She seemed to get along well with our dogs and got them outside and fed. I’d recommend Megan to other pet owners.”

About: Everyone always asks me why dogs are so nice to me and quiet and I’m not really sure but I love all animals! So I hope you can trust me with yours! I work full time but after work I’m always available usually and on weekends. I’m very lenient towards everyone’s schedules so take your time! Don’t worry I will only be going to peoples homes to pet sit or walk because I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs unfortunately maybe one day when I get my own house though!
“Nadine was Fantastic, it took a few visits for our Cats to warm up to her, she kept the kids Litter box’s clean, and food bowls Filled, also Vacuum around their Litter Boxes, so their area was always Clean, the Bangel Brothers love her time spent playing with them! About: I have owned a Labrador Retriever, Jack Russell and two German Shepherds and have dog sat many others. I have had twelve years of experience with dog sitting. I will treat your dog like family with lots of love, spending time with them and many walks and adventures to dog parks around the area. I will give them lots of treats. While spending time at your home will treat it as my home with keeping it clean and able to do little stuff around the house such as watering the plants and picking up the mail with no extra cost. I have a flexible schedule, which I am able to pet sit at last notice. I have a dog name Juno who is a three year old Labrador who is friendly and gets along with all dogs. I would like meet and greets just to know the dog before hand and the dog knows me and Juno before we welcome them into our home! We want to create a welcoming home to your dog by not being a total stranger watching them, helping your dog with adjusting as their family is away. I currently work as a nurse so on my days off I am usually at home hanging with Juno and going on walks or playing in the uard I have a fenced in yard share with the neighbors and it is a six foot fence and locks in the back. I will always be outside with the dogs to make sure they are safe and happy.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! Eva was incredibly communicative throughout our time away, providing thoughtful updates and photos twice a day that gave us complete peace of mind. It was clear our kitties were receiving excellent care and plenty of attention. Eva was punctual, reliable, and professional, and we truly appreciated the effort she put into keeping us informed. Knowing our pet was in such caring and capable hands made it so much easier to enjoy our time away. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter!”

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life. I’ve grown up with a cat and two labs, so caring for both cats and dogs feels very natural to me. I’m used to everything from playtime and walks to quiet companionship, and I pay close attention to each pet’s routine and personality. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m currently a student at UConn! My schedule and course load is fairly light so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your pets! I provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their own space and routine. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box or potty needs, medication if needed, and playtime. I make sure pets get attention, exercise, and companionship, while also keeping the home clean and secure. I always respect the pet’s habits and personality and aim to keep things as stress-free as possible.
About: Ive lived in NH all my life. I’m married and we have a three year old son. I decided to take on this new journey because I love dogs and animals in general. I have 2 wonderful dogs who are my babies and I love them very much. I’m flexible and reliable. I just enjoy being with dogs. Dogs are such loyal companions always there for you through everything. My favorite part of my day is coming home to see my dogs, tails wagging. I promise your pooch won’t be disappointed in our visits, I look forward to visits etc! Looking to take on as many clients as I can. Afternoons and evenings work best for myself and my family. I would be willing to do some occasional night sitting, weekend sitting if it works with my schedule. I would follow owners instructions and routines for each pet. Assuring that each pet is properly cared for. I look forward to taking care of your pets!
About: I’ve always had dogs in my life, and have been a go-to sitter for friends for years. Now with two rescue pups of my own, I understand and respect their nuances in a whole new way. I’m happy to work with reactive dogs (I have one of my own), and those that need a little extra attention. I have a flexible schedule and I’m happy to take breaks to visit or walk your dog throughout the day. I spend most of my free time walking, hiking and running and would love to have another pup along for the fun! I treat each animal as an individual, and get to know their own unique wants and needs. I let them set the pace, and adjust my care to best suit their needs.
About: Pet Care Experience — From Horses to Cats to Dogs My life with animals began long before it became a profession. At 14 years old, I started caring for horses — feeding, grooming, riding, exercising, and treating them as family. Horses taught me early lessons in patience, responsibility, and the importance of daily, consistent care. They also showed me how powerful the bond can be when animals are treated with respect and love. By 16, that passion grew into the dog world when I had the opportunity to be mentored by a close friend who was a Police K9 handler. That mentorship changed my life and set me on a path that would define my career. I began training at a K9 school in my hometown in New Hampshire, where I learned the foundations of K9 behavior, obedience, care, and handling of working dogs. I poured everything I had into learning the craft. After a year of dedicated internship and training, I taught my first class at just 17 years old. From that moment, I knew this was more than a job — it was a calling. Over the years, my experience grew into becoming a Police K9 handler in New Hampshire, followed by serving as a trainer and instructor for the NH Police K9 Academy through the Working Dog Foundation. I worked daily with high-drive working dogs and their handlers, focusing on discipline, safety, trust, and performance in real-world environments. After completing my full-time police career, I continued my K9 journey overseas, spending eight years in the Middle East providing private K9 handling and instruction in support of Army operations and Private Security detachments. Working in demanding and high-stress conditions further refined my skills and reinforced the importance of calm leadership, consistency, and deep respect for the dogs that depend on us. At the same time, I never stopped helping everyday families with their pets. Training and caring for family dogs — from energetic puppies to older companions — has always been just as important to me as working with professional K9 teams. I believe every dog deserves structure, patience, and loving guidance so they can thrive as well-behaved members of the family. Alongside my deep dog experience, my connection to cats comes from being a devoted cat owner. My wife and I shared our home with two amazing cats for about eight years, caring for them daily and loving them as part of our family. Living with cats taught me to appreciate their unique personalities, their need for gentle handling, respect for space, and the importance of calm, consistent routines — especially in a home shared with dogs. While my background with cats is personal rather than professional, it comes from genuine love and hands-on care as a pet parent. Through every chapter — horses, dogs, and cats — one thing has never changed: I treat animals as family. Today, with 27 years of experience centered around K9 training, handling, and care, supported by a lifetime of loving animals of all kinds, I bring a calm, confident, and compassionate approach to every pet I work with. Whether your dog needs structured care, your cat needs gentle attention, or your pet simply needs someone who will treat them like their own, I’m here to provide that level of trust and commitment. When you leave your pet with me, you’re not just choosing a sitter or caretaker — you’re choosing someone who has built his life around animals and who will care for yours with the same respect, patience, and love I’ve given my own. I am currently able to accommodate week days and most weekends to assist our communities. I can be available pretty much any time during the day as I own my own company that is newer to the industry it is supporting. 🛡️🐾 Safety, Trust & Environment For me, caring for animals has always been about more than just meeting basic needs — it’s about earning trust, creating calm, and treating every pet with the same respect and love I give my own. With decades of experience around animals — especially working dogs in high-responsibility and high-stress environments — I’ve learned that pets thrive when they feel safe, understood, and cared for with consistency. Whether it’s a high-drive dog, a shy cat, or a senior companion, I take the time to understand each animal’s personality, routines, and comfort level. In my care, your pet will have: ❤️ Genuine compassion and patience 🏡 A calm, structured, and loving environment 🦴 Proper exercise, enrichment, and rest 🍽️ Attention to feeding routines and health needs 👀 Close supervision and awareness at all times I believe animals should never feel rushed, ignored, or unsafe. I keep their spaces clean, secure, and peaceful, and I handle every interaction with calm confidence so they know they’re in good hands. Because of my background with working dogs and my life with pets like Aries, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your animal with someone else. I don’t take that lightly. When your pet is with me, they’re treated as part of my family — with the highest level of care, respect, and responsibility. Most importantly, I listen to what matters most to you, learning your pet’s daily routines and needs so I can mirror your care and make their time with me feel just like home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
