Sana required extra sensitivity and daily car rides to a quiet cemetery to avoid overstimulation, which I was happy to accommodate. I’ve also house- and pet-sat for a senior couple, caring for two cats, two chickens, and managing a daily bird-feeding system for local avian visitors who were dear companions to the homeowner. In another sit, I tended to a rescue crow and her two cat companions for a full month while the owners were in India studying Vedic astrology. In many of these situations, I’ve also been responsible for watering plants, collecting mail, maintaining routines, and simply being a reassuring human presence in the home—keeping things running smoothly, lights on, and the house clearly lived-in while owners are away. I’m very comfortable accommodating unique requests and supporting both pets and homes with care and respect. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be present and adapt my day around your pets’ needs. About: I grew up here in Northern California with many different loyal pet dogs. After high school I joined the Army and got out of active duty in 2017. Long story short I moved to Alaska with my pet dog from Yuba City where I learned to be a dog musher and she learned to be sled dog. I’ve worked for various different high level sled dog kennels, thousands of different dogs, thousands of hours with dogs, thousands of miles with dogs, and even spent a year working at an Athletic & Longevity Canine Research Facility under the mentorship of some of best veterinarians and scientists. My knowledge and experience in general canine medical care, psychology, and training is advanced. I currently work from home & have a flexible schedule. I open to the special needs & care of your beloved pet from all ages. Each pet is individually unique when it comes to specific pet care, so I will work diligently with owners to best understand their pet. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
