About: I have taken care of friends' dogs and cats on and off throughout the years with no problems and I really enjoy caring for for fur babies! I also care for chickens from time to time! I'm pretty flexible with my schedule! I can stop by your house a couple of times a day or stay over night if needed. Right now I cannot keep pets at my house. I will follow the instructions you give me and lovingly care for your pet as if it were my own. I can transport your dog to park if needed.

About: As a former dog mom and foster mom to batches of kittens and puppies, nowadays, I’m a cat mom to Myrtle. She’s quite the moody old lady, but I can’t imagine not having her head butts and occasional cuddle sessions. I’ve spent the last few year welcoming in and loving on foster kittens, foster puppies, and friends’ animals in my home. All these sweet animals have given me experience with administering medication, running out zoomies in my fenced-in backyard, and exploring the nearby park. I’d love to meet your furry family member and provide walks or drop-in visits as needed! I have a hybrid work schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks on M, Th, and F all day. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’m available after 2pm. My schedule is flexible and can adjust as needed to try and accommodate yours! As a detail oriented person, I’m diligent about securing all doors, harnesses, leashes, etc. and making sure your animal is safe, both inside your home and out in the community.

I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities- including pups with anxiety and behavioral issues. I love to play with dogs doing the things that they love, whether that be cuddling, running, or playing with their toys. “After reading and searching through many profiles in the hope finding the right individual, I was very fortunate to stumble into Rafaels profile. After contacting and explaining to Rafael my situation that I just rescued a Pitbull and that I need help looking after him until I find his home, he took great interest and was immediately available for a one-on-one meet. I could sense that Rafael and this sweet Pittie (Eddie) instantly connected, the moment they had met. Watching Rafael interacting with Eddie, I immediately could tell that he is a very experienced and respectful person, who cares deeply about the needs of animals. Rafael took on the mission walking and spending time with Eddie every day for 30 minutes, which turned out a huge success. Every day, while I am at work, I get a message from Rafael, informing me when Eddie gets picked up for his walk and when he gets dropped off back home. He also sends me a little report card showing me what they did along their walk with a few pictures. Rafael is also open with texting him for anything and everything and he always replies. It’s been three weeks or longer since Rafael has been caring for Eddie now and I could not be happier. Even though I do a lot with Eddie in terms of entertaining and training, but being away at work for long hours, it is totally calming to know that Eddie is in safe hands with Rafael. What is also extremely great and important to know, is that Rafael has a backup person, in case he is already too booked for one day and sends his replacement named Darius, who is just as kind, caring and professional as Rafael. Both, Rafael and Darius are always on time and very communicative, which is such an important factor. And most important.... Eddie loves both of them! It is really wonderful to watch that sweet pup jump, skip and wiggle for joy, when either one of those two come to be with him. All in all, I am very grateful and happy with Rafael and Darius and would recommend both for caring for your Dog, if you ever were in need of a really wonderful, trustworthy and caring Dog-walker or sitter.”

I have a 4 year old reactive pitbull, had two geriatric kitties who lived to 15 and 18, and have caught, groomed, and tacked horses. I’m a full time massage therapy student with a flexible schedule. I can always come by any mornings, and then again Tuesday afternoons/evening, Wednesday daytime, and Friday through Sunday completely open. Limited availability daytime Mondays or Thursdays. I can care for pets in their own home, including overnight stays. I will follow their normal routines and give regular photo updates. I also like to come by for a meet & greet first. About: I’ve raised 1 dog recently and I’ve take care of plenty of my friend’s pets. At the moment i have 1 cat and am taking great care of her. Either me or my fiancé are always home to meet the needs of pets. We have a cat ourselves and tend to take care of some of the local cats as well. We have a spacious backyard for energetic animals as well as minimal car traffic in the area maximizing their safety. We have a variety of food as well if they prefer it.

About: As Gertrude Stein once said, "I am I because my little dog knows me." I grew up with a blind and deaf pug. Now, I'm the lucky guardian of two 85-lb pitbull mixes. Needless to say, I love caring for dogs regardless of size, age or disability! I have experience taking care of reactive, timid, and anxious critters. I love taking care of cats as well, especially if you're okay with me bringing a book to hang out so they can curl up on my lap and purr. I am also happy to look after exotics (snakes, lizards, fishies, birds, hedgehogs...you name it). What I ask from you is that you provide me with comprehensive care instructions for your animal, be upfront about your critter's behaviors, and allow me to have a meet and greet with both you and your animal so I can see if we'll be a good fit. I set these boundaries only in the interest of providing the best and most attentive care possible for my animal clients. I will keep your pets happy and safe, and I will keep you well-updated. Rest assured that I'll treat your furbabies like royalty (which they are-of course!). I'm a breaking news reporter, so my schedule can be a bit erratic! If I've marked myself as 'available' on here, that means I'm not going to be called into work at all. If you have a lower-maintenance pet (usually a cat or exotic) that just needs a once-a-day check-in, I can make that work any day, even if I'm not marked as available. So just ask! :) I begin a visit by entering a client's home and greeting the animal. I refresh the water bowl and do a quick spot-check for potty accidents. If the animal needs a walk, we proceed to the great outdoors and then come inside for a meal and some playtime. Every animal is different, though - and of course, for those that don't go outside, food is usually first priority! One note: I do not do off-leash walks, regardless of your dog's typical practice or recall skills.
