“She does an amazing job with my pup and is awesome at communicating with me when there are any changes in his behavior or activity level. I appreciate having someone who is thorough and pays attention and that my dog is excited to see when I’m not around!”

“I felt so comfortable with my pup in his care. Nick communicates so well, and sends pictures which made me so happy. I will be using him again. I highly recommend him for your fur babies”

“Stephanie is great!! She sends me photos of Zanya on their walks along with a step counter and I love that. She's very responsive and always updates on how their walks went. Bonus because I have a lot of exotic pets as well and she doesn't discriminate 🥰 Great dog Walker and pet sitter!”

Pet care fits into my daily life/ routine easily. I have a flexible schedule and don’t mind last minute changes if needed with notice. I understand life happens! Life's can be unpredictable and require adaptations! I care for pets in your home just as if you were home doing it yourself. The pets routine will be followed and can even send updates while visiting! You know your pet best and how they are!

About: I have 16 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, as well as other small animals and exotic pets. This includes taking care of puppies, animals with specials medical needs and geriatric pets. I currently work part-time with a rather flexible schedule, and can often easily commit to overnight stays with a last minute booking window. My hours vary by day, and I am frequently able to stop by to walk or play with your pet before or after work. I am excited to ensure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve when you are away! Whether that includes playtime, long walks, or just contented snuggles on the couch with plenty of petting, I'm happy to give my love to your fur baby 💛
About: Like many sitters, Ive been a multi-pet owner my whole life. If there is not at least one animal in the same room as I am it feels empty! After selling the gym I operated for 15 years, I have found myself in Ohio with plenty of time and energy to give to your four legged friends! I also spent 9 months living on a working farm during graduate school and have hands on experience with a variety of domesticated farm animals. I currently have a flexible schedule. My previous career as a personal trainer has gotten me used to high energy days with back to back appointments, so I can handle walks of different distances or speeds. Taking care of animals comes naturally to me, and along with the owners instruction and insights into their pets, I strive to maintain a safe and positive environment for all.
About: I was born and raised with dogs in our home and I have always had multiple dogs as an adult. My husband and I have fostered more dogs than I can count. I belonged to a dog training club for 20 years focused on teaching the average dog owner the basics such as potty training and manners. My friends and relatives entrust me with their dogs care whether it be drop ins or boarding in my home. I do not currently work outside of my home. I am available to let your dogs out while you work, bring them to my house for daycare and boarding is available. I will take care of your dogs like they are my own. I have a large fenced yard and 3 of my own friendly dogs. I can easily crate dogs if necessary. There is also room to separate any dog that may be unsure. There will be times when I will have them rest so that no one becomes overstimulated.
About: I bring breadth and depth of experience: 1. Red Cross Cat & Dog First Aid Course Certified 2. 27+ combined years of dog, cat, lizard, and fish sitting 3. 27+ combined years of parenting: • 2 Akitas • 1 Husky • 2 rescued German Shepherd mixes (Doberman, Beagle) • 1 Maine Coon • 1 Tabbie 4. Experienced with: • giving medications to cats and dogs • caring for elderly cats and dogs (e.g. dementia) • post-surgery recovery care (e.g. torn ACL) • bathing and brushing dogs I work remotely so I’m able to work from anywhere with a relatively stable annd fast internet connection. I’m able to take a few minutes here and there to stand up and step away to give potty breaks. I’m happy to sit on the couch and keep your animals company. I care for pets as if they were my own, and as I would want someone to take care of mine. I know it’s hard to leave them in the care of others when you have to. I text photos (usually cute and/or funny) with them to let pet parents know I’m talking good care (and we’re not having friends over for a party).

That said I have plenty of time on my days off to give your pet amazing care, love, and support. The care my clients will receive will be exemplary and will have 100% of my attention and efforts just like I give my own pets.

About: I’ve been pet sitting and caring for dogs and cats for over 20 years, and I can genuinely say there are few things that make me happier than getting to know a new furry friend. I currently run my own pet-sitting business and have been incredibly lucky to build a wonderful little family of happy pets, repeat clients, and pet parents who trust me with their babies. I know every pet is their own little person! Some want to play fetch until your arm falls off, some want to be your shadow, some would happily spend the entire visit getting belly rubs, and others need a little extra patience and time before deciding you’re worthy of their friendship. I love learning all of those little quirks and keeping their normal routines as familiar and comfortable as possible while their people are away. I have experience with dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, including multi-pet households and routine oral and topical medications. And because I know how much you miss your babies when you’re apart, I’m a BIG believer in sending plenty of photos and updates along the way! Your pets won’t just be fed, walked, and checked on…they’ll get conversation, playtime, companionship, scratches, cuddles, and plenty of love. My goal is for you to be able to enjoy your trip or get through your workday knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, happy, and being genuinely cared for. Loving Your Pets Like They’re My Own isn’t just my slogan, it’s exactly what I try to do with every animal entrusted to me. 💕🐾 Pet sitting is already a regular part of my weekly routine, and I currently have a very flexible schedule that allows me to devote plenty of time to the pets in my care. I’m available weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnight, and can often accommodate extended stays as well. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in, some company during a long workday, or someone to stay with them while you’re away, I love being able to plan my schedule around their normal routine. When I’m caring for your babies, they’re never treated like something I need to “fit in.” Spending time with them is the best part of my day! 💕 I provide care in my clients’ homes because I believe pets are often happiest and most comfortable in their own familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s normal routine, personality, feeding and potty schedule, favorite activities, medication needs, and any special instructions their family provides. I’m respectful of both your pets and your home, and their safety and comfort are always my priority. I never force interaction with a shy or nervous pet…I’m happy to give them the time and space they need to decide that we’re friends! While you’re away, I’ll provide plenty of companionship, playtime, conversation, scratches, cuddles, and love, along with lots of photos and updates so you can see how your babies are doing. 🐾💕
About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. Whether you have a pet that needs daily medication, help getting around, and extra special care, or just want to feel comforted knowing that your furry family member is in great hands, I am happy to care for any and all of them. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc). If there are any additional safety measures you would like to discuss, just let me know!
“Courtney was so caring and loving to our mini australian shepherd. Our dog is just a year old and this is the first time that we’ve had to go on an overnight trip without her. We were gone 4 days and our dog was very anxious. Courtney was a calming, loving and caring presence for her. She did an excellent job. We will definitely have her again and highly recommend her.”
