About: I had my first dog when I was 8 and ever since then I have always loved dogs and have never been without a dog until this year. All dogs make me extremely happy and I love to play with them. I’m very energetic and love to go for runs or do different activities with dogs. I also don’t have a problem with any other animals but I am just used to dealing with dogs. I have had a miniature schnauzer, pit bull, and a lab. My hours are pretty flexible but I do prefer the morning because I am a early bird. About: I've grown up with vastly different dogs; my first was a grumpy senior cocker spaniel and my last was the sweetest, smartest Australian Shepard/blue heeler. I've also taken care of friends' and family's pets like my aunt's deaf pitbull and my cousin's St. Bernard. Needless to say, I have a wide range of pet experience. I'm currently an online graduate student, which means I have flexibility to work around yours and your pet's schedule. I'm available most days with available times from early morning to late evening. It's important for a pet to feel safe in their home. It's important to follow a pet's boundaries, I try to cater to their needs and their routine.
About: I have had a dog almost my whole life. I’ve also watched my family and friends pets while they have been away a lot through out the past 7 years! I know a lot about the different dog breeds as well, since I am considering owning a dog boarding place one day! As I am preparing for college I am very flexible. I don’t have a set schedule for any day, so I can make sure your pet is taken care of. I make each pet’s care fit their individual needs while keeping them comfortable and safe. I provide plenty of exercise through walks and playtime, but during the summer heat I schedule walks for the early morning or evening when it’s cooler. If it’s too hot outside, I focus on indoor activities and enrichment to keep pets active. I also make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a calm, caring environment throughout my visit or stay.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and I am very comfortable around them! I love to go on walks and play with pups as much as I can! I work from home during the week and leave for meetings or errands occasionally but will be home to keep your pet company! Home most summer weekends and I love to be outside and go on lots of walks. I work full time in Jamestown so I would be able to assist with Jamestown pets during the week. Then I’m home on weekends so I could board during weekends. I have a fenced yard. I have three cats but if your dog is not cat friendly I would keep the dog in a separate room where they would still receive lots of attention.

I’ve worked in the veterinary field since 2013 and have been a licensed veterinary technician for the past 5 years. My medical background allows me to recognize signs of illness or distress, provide attentive care, and feel comfortable caring for pets with medical or special needs. I also spent 3 years working as a zookeeper, which gave me even more experience with exotic animals and strengthened my love for working with all kinds of species—not just dogs and cats! Whether your pet needs someone to keep them company, follow a specific routine, provide extra attention, or simply make sure they’re safe and comfortable while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and compassion I would give my own. If there’s a way I can help an animal—or give their owner some peace of mind—I’m happy to be there. 🐾 I currently work from home doing pet insurance so I make up my own schedule Monday through Friday. I do also take care of my disabled mother so there are some circumstances where I will have to deny a booking if I feel it won't work out for our situation. I also work with a veterinary dermatologist once or twice a month and I cannot do any boardings those days, but I can still do drop-in visits. **Dogs boarding must be good with cats** I treat every pet as an individual and follow their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether they need walks, playtime, cuddles, medications, or just some extra patience, I adjust to what makes them most comfortable. With my veterinary and zookeeper experience, I’m also comfortable with medical needs and a wide variety of animals. 🐾 ** I do require your pet have prior experience with cats, especially if they are med-xl dogs **

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
