Emma is absolutely fantastic! She was on time and did everything we asked for the pets and she went out of her way to make sure we were constantly updated on everything that was happening. She sent us photos on every visit and cared for the cats as her own pet. We truly appreciate her.

Celina is absolutely amazing with my cat. She tends to get very lonely while we're away and Celina provides the extra attention she needs so she doesn't get depressed. I love having Celina as a sitter!

About: I have dog sat and walked dogs for friends, family, and neighbors for the last eight years and approximately two years ago adopted my American Bully, Cane Corso mix named Clementine. I even trained her to be a therapy dog through a lot of training and education. I am comfortable working with rescues as well. I love working with all breeds, but specifically I love working with bully mixes too!! I am comfortable with medication administration, as well as working with dogs that have recently had surgery. My dog had TPLO surgery and took six months to recover so I’m willing to support in that process as well! I also have experience working with rescue dogs. I currently work full-time as a social worker, but I am looking to help with pet sitting on the weekends or dog walks earlier in the morning. In my home, my dog is on a strict schedule which includes brushing her teeth twice a day, administering medication in the morning, a structured walk and enrichment. For your pup, I can do whatever is needed!! my dog is also crate trained, and has been training to be a therapy dog. I am comfortable with dogs that are reactive to other dogs as well. I am able to do boarding in my home but your dog would have to be comfortable with my dog so we would have to do a meet and greet. I do not have a fun fenced in backyard, but I live on a rail trail and take my dog on walks there often. I am also comfortable with dropping in visits, walks, and overnight pet sitting.

Allyson cared for our dog for a full week. A prompt message was sent following each visit with a photo or two. We felt at ease that Allyson was going above and beyond to make sure Finn was comfortable while we were away. We are fortunate to have Allyson for our pet care needs!

Autumn did an amazing job looking after Peppermint. She provided updates multiple times daily including photos and I could see how happy our puppy was to be out with her. She was very communicative and helped me out with an emergency last minute request. I would 1000% use Autumn again in the future.

My very discerning and slightly judgmental cat adored Molly. She understood how to follow her lead and ensure she was being doted upon. Molly also sent me beautiful photos of my cat that I loved. Would absolutely work with Molly again - she is wonderful!

About: Hello! My name is Maryl and I'm very excited to meet your pets and make sure they feel special, loved and overall happy and safe in my care. I've been pet sitting and taking care of dogs for about 2 years now. I absolutely adore animals and I find caring for them to be particularly rewarding. I grew up with a lot of animals (dogs, cats, fish) but no longer have any. Because of this I absolutely love every single opportunity I get to care for them. Each and every pet is unique in their own way and I love getting to know them, connecting with them, and helping them to feel safe and loved while their family is away. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet! My schedule is very free so I have a lot of time to care for, play, and watch your pets! I love animals so I’m more than happy to adjust my schedule for them. I am very willing to do overnights to make sure your pet is safe and happy! I am naturally very calm and positive which I find always animals more comfortable :)

About: Motivated and dependable pet caregiver with hands-on experience caring for dogs of various sizes and temperaments. Since 8th grade, I have been volunteering at rhe NHSPCA, where I regularly played with, exercised, and socialized dogs to support their enrichment and comfort. I also grew up in a dog-loving household and have always had pets, including dachshunds, golden, and currently a lab and a Great Pyrenees mix rescue dogs. Through these, I am skilled in dog walking, feeding routines, administering basic medications, and providing attentive companionship to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable while owners are away. Known for strong communication, punctuality, and attention to detail when following care instructions. Experience balancing a busy schedule as a full-time college student while maintaining responsibility-focused roles such as gym supervisor and tutor has strengthened time management and reliability. Passionate about building trust with both pets and their owners and committed to providing consistent, high-quality care! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. As a busy but well-organized college student, I primarily offer availability on weekends and Friday nights since I do not go out. During these times, I can provide focused, reliable care including walks, drop-ins, and possibly overnight sitting. I plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets receive consistent attention and timely care. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and trustworthy environment for every pet. In a client’s home, I would carefully follow all provided instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and house rules while respecting the space. I keep pets supervised, maintain clean food and water areas, and ensure doors, leashes, and gates are secure at all times. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and structured routines to help pets feel comfortable and stress-free!

Chichi had a drop-in visit with my dog in anticipation of walking him daily for a couple of weeks. I was impressed by her experience with reactive dogs. She was not at all put off by my dog's fearful reaction to a new person and I am happy to have found someone who understands dog psychology.

About: Everyone always asks me why dogs are so nice to me and quiet and I’m not really sure but I love all animals! So I hope you can trust me with yours! I work full time but after work I’m always available usually and on weekends. I’m very lenient towards everyone’s schedules so take your time! Don’t worry I will only be going to peoples homes to pet sit or walk because I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs unfortunately maybe one day when I get my own house though!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 660 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Warner. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Warner stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Warner. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 91% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
