“Elizabeth took great care of our girl for 5 days at the last minute when our usual sitter had to back out due to an emergency. She gave a lot of updates and would definitely recommend her!”

“Lisa is the best..I was nervous at first leaving my four legged child behind while I took a business trip but Lisa alleviated all my concerns and extremely communicative..Fozzie absolutely loved playing with her fur babies Eva and Ozzie..highly recommend her.”

“I hate to be honest here. For fear that Kate and Ken will not be available when we need them in the future. They were so attentive to Tripp. Their dogs and our dog played so much. I received pictures and videos daily showing the smile on his face. We don’t have a yard as big as theirs. Or other dogs for him to play with. So this was a real treat for him. They understand our dog’s communication style. Let him be a dog. Play like a puppy. But also balanced it with the guidance and directions he is used to. Both Ken and Kelly were exactly what we hoped for when we signed up for care. We drove 40 minutes to drop him off and pick him up. Both my husband and I believe it is worth it. Previously Tripp had been boarded at a kennel. I started using Rover in hopes that he would get more interaction with dogs and humans while we were gone. Boy! Did Ken and Kelly do that! Thank you for loving him like one of your family!”

“Sierra was amazing ! She took good care of Cody and he was happy when I picked him up. I could tell that he felt very comfortable with her and her family. I would definitely use her again in the future and would recommend her for any service.❤️❤️🐾🐾”

“Ximena always does a terrific job! This time she let us know that Pugsley wasn't eating well and offered him some special food, after checking with us. That was all it took to get him to eat like her dogs and he came home happy and well fed! We always trust that Pugsley will get great care!”

“Sabine was wonderful! Would highly recommend her for your pups stay! Regular communication, if you want, and LOTS of time outside, being active and socialization! She's a true dog lover and the kind of person you'd want your dog to stay with while you're away!”

“Haley did an amazing job with my dogs. They absolutely loved their time with her. She sent me pictures and kept me posted and updated on how they were doing. Leaving your animals with someone new can always be a bit nerve-racking, but I didn’t have any of those worries while they were in her care. I would definitely have her care for them again.”

“Highly recommended, Naee went above and beyond for our fur-baby Star. We will definitely be coming back to her again when we need the help ? Thanks so much for taking great care of our ⭐️”

“Really loved how well they took care of my pup! She seemed super happy when she got back. I was pleased with the pictures they show and they show you the facilities. I felt totally comfortable leaving my old girl with them.”

“Erin did a great job taking care of my puppy for the weekend! When I went to drop Lottie off she brought her dog down so that they could meet on neutral territory, which was really nice and during the weekend she text me updates and pics every day. I liked that she only took one pet at a time in addition to hers, that made me feel much safer leaving my puppy there. I would definitely recommend and use her services again!”

“Samantha was great at communicating and taking pictures while we were gone. She spent extra time comforting Pilgrim during the 4th of July celebrations. Would definitely use again!”

“If you are on the fence, go ahead and choose Megan. She’s the best option. She is a trainer already, so she is knowledgeable and she is very experienced with housing dogs. My Banjo really likes being there. He’s well cared for. And Megan understands how to interact with my obnoxious boy.”

“Sydney provided good care to my pup and ensured for his safety when a storm came through. Because it was over the holiday weekend, I had some changes in my schedule and she was accommodating to my requests. Thanks again!”

“Jessica took great care of our two dogs while we were out of town for about 6 days. It's so hard leaving them, but we felt comfort knowing they were in good hands, and we received frequent updates and pictures that made us feel even better!”

About: I think that life is about being happy and animals of all shapes and sizes make me happy! I have had multiple pets all of my life, from bearded dragons and snails to cats and dogs but now I have settled with my older toy rat terrier pup and my fat orange cat! I was able to achieve my pet first aid certification through the American Red Cross but it since expired (they are valid for one year) but I thought it was worth mentioning that I have been trained. I work in Columbia M-F but live in Holts Summit, MO. I am willing to work in Columbia, Jefferson City or Holts Summit. I’m working full time but can do check-ins/walks during my lunch break, before 8am or after 5pm on weekdays. Weekends are much more flexible as I don’t work on Saturdays or Sundays. I am comfortable with crate training and of course fenced in yards are great! I have no issues with walking pups on a leash. I live in Holts Summit where we have a leash law so leash and a decent harness would be required for stays with me. I have a huge yard to walk them around in!

Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
