“Where do I begin with this 5-star review of Kelly C??? This was Champ's 3rd visit with Kelly and her husband and we already knew our pup was in the best of hands! We felt very secure in leaving him with Kelly and her pack for a longer stay as we were traveling overseas. Well, thankfully he was in such trusted hands, because a few days into our trip, Champ, a German shepherd, developed bloat (GDV) which is life threatening and requiring emergency surgery. Sadly, this is all too common in larger breeds like Shepherds. Thanks to Kelly's and her husband's quick action (and with constant communication with us in a different time zone), Champ arrived at the emergency clinic in time, was immediately rushed into surgery, and the amazing specialists at University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center in Columbia treated him successfully. Post surgery, Kelly and her husband took wonderful care of him in his recovery until we could return from our trip to a happy and healthy dog. Needless to say, we are incredibly thankful to have found Kelly and her family and can't say enough about how grateful we are to them! If we could give more than 5 stars, they would be difficult to count!”

About: I have been around dogs for 18 plus years. I have dog sat many different animals as well. I personally have 2 Golden Retrievers named Kali and Bentley. I have a 1/2 acre backyard that they swim, play fetch, and chase after a ball in! I have experience with training and working with dogs on their commands. I am currently in Nursing School. I am PRN at my current job however with being so busy with school I have just been putting my entire focus on home and school! My normal days are 8-12 everyday while I do sometimes have a late day of about 4pm at school(very rarely)! I am currently in school so I am pretty well only gone for about 5 ish hours a day and sometimes longer but that is very rarely and I would make sure to accumulate that schedule with you and your pet. I work on homework here and there through out the day and when I take breaks you will always find me and my two dogs outside playing fetch! I have a fenced in backyard with over 1/2 an acre to roam and play in. The inside of my home is over 3600 SF so I am easily able to separate animals if needed. I have a large basement where my dogs stay during the day if they are wanting to play and it is too hot! If for any reason, I can easily kennel a puppy.
About: Cats have always been my favorite pet to own. Having one ever since I can remember. Cleaning litter boxes and any cat mess is part of my system. Owning two cats of my own. I can provide a couple of toys to bring, or play using your toys. Feeding and watering the cat. Any special requirement is never too big to keep the cat happy as can be. Even if the cat can be grumpy, I’m patient and won’t make the cat uncomfortable or more upset.

I rarely use a kennel but if your pet is not house trained or can get destructive, I would recommend you bring a crate in the event I have to run to the store or something.

Besides watching your pets I try to make sure to tidy up your house and to make sure it's nice before you come home. I'm also a quick learner and would help if your animal needs a certain kind of medicine or treatment. I have some experience with that already but I love to learn new things! I'm currently only working weekends part time. It's just not enough for me and since I love animals why not be a pet sitter or just your everyday dog walker. About: Moe’s Place is a small in home dog boarding facility. I provide one on one care as well as exit baths. Moe’s Place has commercial kennels indoors and outdoors so they can stay outside when the days are nice. There is a large fenced in play area, but only dogs who come together play together. I make sure every dog is given some additional time to be treated like family. We turn our pups out in the morning before feeding, around noon and early afternoon. We also ensure your pup has time to go out before bed. We live here so it makes it very convenient to ensure your family member is getting the best care. We have lots of open time and play time. If your pup decides they would rather play indoors, we have an indoor play area also.

We are very outdoorsy and love to go on walks, play outside, etc. Depending on how your dog does with being off leash, we can keep him/her on leash the whole time or let off to play while we are outside. Must be kid friendly, and we can discuss if you're comfortable with off leash or not. We have 13+ acres for your pup to play on and a fenced in area for those friends who need the accommodation. Of course I can keep your pup on a leash if they need to be, or if you're comfortable with them playing off leash they would get to explore with us. We have one golden retriever who is extremely loving and not phased by anything.

I currently have 2 dogs at my house that use an electric fence and they use kennels as well. When I take them out, I use a good leash and make sure to have a tight grip.
About: I grew up with many different animals. I also intern-shipped on my school farm where I took care of many large animals. I know how to give medications, I’ve taken care of dogs who had different medicines or they needed doggie diapers. I can handle any energetic pets, I don’t shy away. I am currently taking online classes so as long as I have WiFi pet care fits in perfectly. I want to pet sit because it would be a fun way to earn some money. I enjoy interacting with new animals. When taking care of other people’s pets I do whatever will keep their fur babies comfortable, I try to keep them in the routine as best as I can. If pets aren’t allowed in certain areas then they won’t be in them. I will never bring other animals in your home. The whole reason to have me help out is to make sure your pets are happy and comfortable.

“Where do I begin with this 5-star review of Kelly C??? This was Champ's 3rd visit with Kelly and her husband and we already knew our pup was in the best of hands! We felt very secure in leaving him with Kelly and her pack for a longer stay as we were traveling overseas. Well, thankfully he was in such trusted hands, because a few days into our trip, Champ, a German shepherd, developed bloat (GDV) which is life threatening and requiring emergency surgery. Sadly, this is all too common in larger breeds like Shepherds. Thanks to Kelly's and her husband's quick action (and with constant communication with us in a different time zone), Champ arrived at the emergency clinic in time, was immediately rushed into surgery, and the amazing specialists at University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center in Columbia treated him successfully. Post surgery, Kelly and her husband took wonderful care of him in his recovery until we could return from our trip to a happy and healthy dog. Needless to say, we are incredibly thankful to have found Kelly and her family and can't say enough about how grateful we are to them! If we could give more than 5 stars, they would be difficult to count!”

“This was my lab, Josie's, first stay with Megan A., and she had a blast! From the moment she and I entered the house, Megan made us feel welcome. She is a serious, knowledgeable dog person, and the love, the helpful information, and care she shared made a huge difference. In the past, I have felt a tad guilty about having to board Josie...but now, seeing how she fit so well with Megan's "squad," well, I'm gonna feel guilty if I don't take her there. Our family recently relocated to the Lake area as full timers after 30 years of being weekenders, so having great resources now that we are living here is so important. About: Tons of animal experience, have been pet sitting since around the age of 13 for family and friends! Happy to provide references to make you know your pet is getting the best care! I currently am PRN for the state hospital so get to pick my own schedule! That being said I have plenty of time to care for your animals! I have a huge yard and large apartment with plenty of space to make your animals feel comfortable and welcomed while staying in my home!
About: I have been dog sitting since I was 13! My experience includes senior dogs, medical-needs dogs, puppies, and everything in between. Both, growing up with dogs and pet sitting, has given me years to understand mannerisms, how to train animals, and most importantly, how to make sure they feel loved. I work fully remote therefore I have the ability to work anywhere & schedule check-ins and walks around my work schedule. Currently I am taking my dog on a walk in the morning and after dinner. I would be more comfortable boarding the dog in my home, but willing to discuss staying away if it is what is best for your pet! I have 1 dog. He is 30lbs and has never met a dog he doesn’t like!
