Our barn cat got into some sort of fight with a coyote or raccoon, Kelsey let us know right away and took amazing care of her, even finding her in our old barn and bringing her into the house to care for her (cat is fine as well). About: I’ve been taking care of pets regularly since 2017, but I’ve loved pets for much longer. Once I adopted my first dog Mia, my love for her grew into a love for every dog I lay eyes on, and I quickly became the designated sitter for all my friends’ pets. I’ve done it all from staying at their houses, taking their pets into my house, popping in for walks or play dates, and even taking in lost animals off the street to reunite them with their owners. Anything that gives me a chance to show an animal love and genuine care sets my heart aglow. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, and that’s why when I pet sit, I treat your pets like my own because I know that’s exactly what I would want for Mia. I know every animal is different and I work with pet owners to set a plan for their pet and I follow it to a tee to keep the pet’s routine as regular as possible while the owner is away. I have extensive experience working with senior pets and pets with health problems (Mia being one herself), and I know first hand how important it is to find someone you trust to leave your pet with, especially if there are health issues, while you are gone. I relish the opportunity to meet you and your fur baby(or plural!) and would love to chat about a sitting care plan with you! More of my story: It all started when we adopted my family’s first fur baby when I was 8. As an only child, I’d begged my parents for a pet for years and they finally gave in when I was in the third grade. We adopted the last kitten left of the litter at the local pound. She was a black kitten that I named Roxy. Roxy and I were inseparable during my childhood, and I can’t imagine what it would have been like growing up without her. In 2017 when I got a place of my own that allowed pets, I adopted my first dog. Found on the streets, malnourished, severely underweight and her hair lost to mites, she had just given birth to a litter. I was volunteering as a dog walker at the local shelter at the time, and when I met her, I knew from that moment that my volunteer gig had turned into something much greater. I adopted her, and 9 years later, Mia and I are one and the same. Pet sitting is my only job so I have extensive availability for you and your pet(s) and can focus solely on your pet’s needs while you are away. I will stay at your home to keep your pet in its trusted environment. We will meet before you leave to go over routines and other details for your home and your pet’s environment.

About: I’ve cared for newborn puppies on multiple occasions, so I’m no stranger to tiny paws and big responsibility. I bring patience, love, and plenty of cuddles to every pet I care for. Caring for pets is part of my normal day-to-day life. I enjoy building my routine around their needs, whether that means morning walks, midday check-ins, or extra cuddle time. My own pets are cared for with a mix of routine, enrichment, and lots of love (okay… maybe a little spoiling). I stay attentive to their needs, moods, and habits, and I bring that same level of care to every pet I sit.

She threw frisbee with the dogs every day and sent photos every evening. She took care of them right after the only rain this summer and took the time and effort to give them a bath. We will happily use Brittany again to take care of our pets and home.”

About: I have primarily pet sat for cat owners over the past 6 years, but have at least 15 years of experience in owning multiple medium size dogs. I am well accustomed to large breed dogs as well as smaller breeds and love to sit for multiple at a time! I currently work full time in Eden Park, so as long as your home is within 30 minutes of my drive to work I can stop home at my lunch to let them outside. Otherwise, they will be let out immediately following me getting there. I care for pets as if they were my own. I ensure they are supervised as well as loved and cared for in the time I am there. My full attention is on your pets and their needs.

About: I have cared for animals since I was a teen. I volunteered at a cat shelter in my early teens and I get along well with most dogs. I do have a dog and a cat at home. They are both good with other animals. I work full time during the day, however I am available in the evenings, overnights, and weekends. I could also work out early mornings if needed. (5:30 to 6:00am) I have an unfenced yard, but I live 5 minutes from a dog park. I walk regularly in sun, rain, or snow. I enjoy the great outdoors in any weather.

About: Hi, I’m Katie. I’m a college student and I don’t have many years of experience, but I’m looking to gain some. I’m probably the biggest pet person you’ll ever meet and I hope I can help you and your dog or cat. I currently am a college student and I don’t have a summer job or anything so I’m just looking for something to do on the side and keep me busy and something that will fit my schedule while also enjoying time with animals I have a fenced in yard with a boxer half lab who is very friendly with medium to small size dogs and does well with cats. I’m looking to make sure the owner is happy but even more to make sure their pet is happy.

About: Hi I’m Brooke! I’ve been pet sitting for family and neighbors for over 10 years and have yet to receive a complaint. I have experience caring for animals of many sizes, temperaments, and needs. I’m comfortable administering medication, including insulin, as my own dog has diabetes. I currently work as a caregiver at a nursing home three days a week and have weekends off, which gives me flexibility and reliability in my schedule. Being a caregiver has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and sense of responsibility, qualities I bring to pet care as well. I have a 10 year old miniature schnauzer named Cooper and a 12 year old rescue cat named Whiskers who I absolutely adore. I truly love all animals, from dogs to snakes! I’m very active and enjoy spending time outdoors, but equally love snuggling up on the couch with pets. Your pets safety and comfort is my priority :) I work at a nursing home Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pets on the weekend! I have a fenced in yard with a friendly pup. My cat prefers to be outdoors, so it won’t be an issue if your pet doesn’t get along with cats. I am completely dependable and will follow all instructions to a T.

About: I have taken care of many pups and built many meaningful relationships with their owners! I pride myself in my relationship with animals and hope to spend my time caring for your babies! I babysit consistently for a family one day a week (Fridays) and go to school online so my availability is almost always open! I’d like to be notified at least a day or two before the days you need care for your pet! Caring for a pet in someone else home involves being respectful of another’s property and being mindful of any and all hazards potential to cause problems with the animal. Making sure to follow clear instructions and take all the necessary precautions with the pet is the only right thing to do!

Our dog was very anxious as a result of the fireworks for Fourth of July, and we hated to leave him, but Brooklyn did a great job of taking care of him while we were gone. About: I can't remember a time I didn't have a dog! From birth I've always had my dog companons, I currently have 2 dogs of my own.(Deiliah, and scoob) Ive volunteered at several animal shelters delicating alot of my time to the ones who need love, and for the simple fact... How can you be sad surrounded by furry doggos...that's right you can't! I take my dog on daily walks, bathe her, love her, and play with all her favorite toys! Delilah is my rescue dog and she's been the biggest blessing to our family! I've never met a dog I don't like.. so let me love your fur babies! I accept puppies,and old dogs. All breeds are equally loved, pits, labs, Chihuahuas, and even Dobermans! I work 12 hour shifts Wednesday through Saturday. I have availability anytime after 2:00 Sunday through Tuesday I am available all day I currently work Wednesday through Saturday 2:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. I am off Sunday through Tuesday so my availability is flexible feel free to reach out During the visit if your pet gets too anxious I am able to create them a safe space or put them in their crate. I try to really behavior and adapt best to the pet.. I'm in their home therefore I adapt.
