While my yard is not fenced, I always take dogs out on a leash for fresh air, bathroom breaks, and walks as often as needed. About: I’ve taken care of all dogs big and small and love every one of them (especially the big ones). My family has owned dogs since I was a young child. I am a trained EMT so I understand the basics of administering medication if your dog has specific needs. I have an extremely flexible routine and work primarily from home, so I have a lot of time to spend caring and playing with your dog. I’m an active person so if your dog likes to run that’s a plus! Our home is located on a large plot of land, so we have lots of space for your dog to run around and play outside, safely. Soon we will have a large, fenced area to play off-leash.

I've had pet cats, dogs, mice, birds, Guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, chickens and others. They've always been a big part of my life. I'm very attentive and empathetic and love to know everything ahead of time and I always send regular updates and photos. My boyfriend and I live together and he often enjoys helping care for them. He's is very kind hearted and loving and just all around a great guy I'm at home full time right now, I live next to a park with a walking trail and many side streets where I and other people regularly walk their dogs. If I'm not at home my boyfriend is and vice versa. I always make sure my pets have fresh food and water / clean bowls. Water change 3× a day. I like to make sure that they have their food and water station all set up, and their bed and toys set out right after they come in the door so they feel at home. I also note care details down and keep everything in mind. I send updates regularly and lots of photos. I'm attentive and empathetic too! Having an animal next to me while I'm having family time makes my place feel cozy and homey ❤️ I always double check with the owner about what their pets can and can't have and I also know a lot about what's good and bad for them.

About: Dogs have been apart of my life since I was a child. I am a natural animal lover. I can also say the same for my husband. We love animals ! I am currently my friends go to dog watcher/walker. Your fur baby will be treated with love and respect in my care !!! I am currently working from home. My husband and both have remote jobs. Your precious baby will have access to our back yard all day long. It is very rare that we leave the house for more than 6 hours. They will also be able to stay in a separate room if needed. We will often take our dogs to the neighborhood park to play fetch and run out some energy! IAce ( mini Aussie) is 8 years old and we also have Nala ( chocolate lab) is 5 years old. Playing fetch and running around is part of our daily routine.

A popular request this summer has been from folks on visiting who would like me to day sit at their campground/rv/hotel/air bnb while they enjoy the park, biking, boating or going out to eat. For boarding, My husband and I have a wonderful centrally located home in the Acadia region off the island. We have a fenced in yard and can take the stress out of leaving your pets while on vacation. Pick up and drop off can be arranged at the head of the island if requested. Wedding or event coming up? I can be your pets chaperon then too, just ask :) Need to exercise your pup? Mini day hikes available too- custom fit for your pups comfort. This summer I am taking a sabbatical to my career job which means more hiking, walks and freedom to spend time with your pet- with flexible scheduling :) While my home offers a wonderful spacious lawn and garden area for the pups with a secure 4' ht enclosed fence, pets are never left unattended in the area. I have a flexible schedule and my own car that allows me to be an adaptive and on call care giver. I don't mind late bookings or cancelations as I understand that things come up. I am new to rover and still figuring out what works best but am always willing to work with clients on what works best for them and their pets. Animals are my first priority but I also believe homes and personal spaces are sacred and I will always treat them with respect and attention. All animals are different so its important to use to always be aware of anything potentially unsafe. Our home is for animals first and there is nowhere they aren't allowed although animal guests and clients are always fully supervised to make sure they are safe and comfortable. About: As a pet lover for my entire life, I am very open to who I will take in. I have taken care of my family’s dogs and cats. As well as friends’ pets as well. Not just our small pets. I worked on my family farm in the middle of Maine near Dover-Foxcroft. That included Horses, chickens, occasionally some cows and donkeys. However, when checking in or walking pups I do make sure water bowl is filled if I notice it’s low and I make sure to bring a pop up water bowl on long walks in the summer.
