“KJ has been so amazing to work with! Always available for my travel dates, even over holidays. She's been super patient when my pet opts to not come home on time and goes the extra mile to make sure she's safe. I highly recommend her if she's in your area.”

“We loved having Michelle check in on our pups while we were away for the weekend. She was prompt and communicated well. Our dogs were so relaxed around her so we were not worried to leave them. Pets are in good hands when Michelle takes care of them. Highly recommend and will definitely use again for our next time away.”

About: Growing up with two dogs of my own, I learned early on that pets aren't just animals, they are part of the family. My lifelong love for dogs and animals is what inspired me to start providing dedicated pet care. Over the years, I have built experience caring for dogs of various shape, size, and personality. Whether your furry friend is a tiny companion or a large breed, they will be in safe, joyful, and loving hands with me. I am new to the Branson area, and I am looking for more ways to be active and work additionally part-time. I love being around dogs, and I am excited to make it a part of my normal routine. I am very considerate and organized. I will treat your home and pet like it is my own. I will happily perform my service and respect your time and space while doing so.

Pet sitting is my full time job, so I am usually available whenever! I'm able to either stay with the pets or check on them periodically. I am able to watch pets at a client's house, always keeping an eye on them and making sure they're doing alright. I prefer visiting and/or staying in their environment, making sure the pets more comfortable and less stressed.
About: Hi pet parents! I’m Marci, and I’ve been house and pet sitting for over 12 years with excellent references available upon request. I grew up in Southern Missouri around a wide variety of animals, which gave me early hands-on experience with training and daily care. Professionally, I’ve worked in both exotic and domestic animal environments, including a zoo setting caring for livestock (such as alpacas, ponies, and young camels) and aviary birds, as well as a high-volume dog boarding/daycare facility in Phoenix, AZ where I worked with 150+ dogs daily. This gave me a strong understanding of dog behavior, group dynamics, and handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’m confident with drop-in visits, walks, overnight stays, and maintaining your pet’s routine exactly as needed—including feeding, exercise, medication, and companionship. I especially enjoy walks, enrichment, and positive reinforcement training for puppies and energetic dogs, always prioritizing safety, structure, and calm, happy behavior. I’m dependable, communicative, and treat every home and pet with respect and care as if they were my own. I have reliable transportation and auto insurance for peace of mind. I currently live in Branson, Missouri and am a stay at home mom/photographer. My daughter is very gentle, calm, and accustomed to being around animals. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets (or home) and give you peace of mind while you’re away. My daily and weekly schedule is highly flexible and I am available for pet and home care nearly always. If for some reason I am I available my calendar should reflect that - or just ask because I might be available anyway. I am very mindful and cautious, especially when it comes to animals and children. In my home there are no small objects or sharp objects that could harm or be cause for choking hazards. I don’t feed your pet extra treats that aren’t approved by you, and I keep them safe by making sure doors are closed so they don’t run off.
“Amber was great! We had her do drop ins for 3 dogs. She communicated well, took lots of pictures, and my dogs seemed much better when we got home than they do when we board them. I would highly recommend and will book with her again!”

I have a lot of experience with dogs and can assure you that all of your pets needs will be more than taken care of. Please feel free to ask any questions.
“Byron is an absolute gem. He took phenomenal care of our newfie and goldendoodle. He was also extremely helpful with a number of unexpected “surprises” (not all dog related) that occurred while we were gone. Overall, Byron’s care, effort and communication was above and beyond our expectations. You’d be crazy not to book him.”

About: I've taken care of cats, dogs, and birds since I was a teenager. I love them all and will go the extra mile to care for them. I will walk them, play with them, bathe them, and feed them. I'm available 7 days a week, but will only care for one families pets at a time, so first come first served. I take last minute same day requests. I will watch your pets in my home or yours. I don't have any of my own pets right now so yours will get all of my attention and care.

About: I volunteered at CARE which is a no kill pet shelter for cats and dogs in 2014 and recently started volunteering at this place again, February 2018. My duties included feeding and making sure the animals had enough water. Cleaned out kennels and cages and would take the dogs outside and walk them. I have had dogs and cats since I was born and currently had a dog who loved being around other cats and dogs. She loved to play with animals as well and loved children. Her name was Daisy she is in my profile pic with me. Daisy was euthanized on September 1st, 2023. I now have another dog whose name is Emma. She’s a year old and as long as it’s ok with a client I bring her to pet sitting jobs. She loves other animals including cats and loves to play. She’s lovable and affectionate and loves attention. I also have a cat and her name is Maizy. She is four years old and I got her when she was almost 4 weeks old. I would take Daisy for walks and if I could take her with me to other places I did. One of the places I took her was to the pet store. I no longer wear a mask unless I have to. If you prefer for me to wear one please let me know and I will wear one. I use to work at a job which required me to work a 10 hour shift. I am now working at a full time job which has 8 hour shifts. I can work around my schedule if needed. My supervisor does work with me on switching my days around if needed. I can’t keep your pet in my apartment due to rules and restrictions but I can come to your home. I will provide my own food and necessities.
About: I have had dogs, cats, geckos, rodents, snakes, & everything in between throughout my life, but certainly classify myself as a dog-lover! We bred English Pointers growing up in the Ozarks, had a Jack Russell as my own personal pet as a boy, had other dogs in the family growing up, and fostered and dog-sat during COVID! Excited to spend time with your pet! I left my corporate job last year & am currently building a free-lance career and locking in a GMAT score. I am 100% available & flexible- any day of the week and at any time! Currently, I cannot board a pet at my home as our landlord does not allow pets. I am available for sitting at the client home, check-ins, and walks! I actively work with leash-training, and if you would like for me to focus on it with your pet, please ask! I do not charge any extra for this but appreciate tips!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Walnut Shade
Kyrstin fulfilled her obligation perfectly and promptly but the thing that stands out above all the rest is the compassion and care she gave our two kitties. Previous cat sitters always fed and watered them on a timely basis but upon our return home our cats would hold grudges against us for a couple days after a week long absence. With Kyrstin caring for them a 22 day stretch they acted like we never left, showed no signs of distress, proving she showed them true affection.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
