About: I volunteered at CARE which is a no kill pet shelter for cats and dogs in 2014 and recently started volunteering at this place again, February 2018. My duties included feeding and making sure the animals had enough water. Cleaned out kennels and cages and would take the dogs outside and walk them. I have had dogs and cats since I was born and currently had a dog who loved being around other cats and dogs. She loved to play with animals as well and loved children. Her name was Daisy she is in my profile pic with me. Daisy was euthanized on September 1st, 2023. I now have another dog whose name is Emma. She’s a year old and as long as it’s ok with a client I bring her to pet sitting jobs. She loves other animals including cats and loves to play. She’s lovable and affectionate and loves attention. I also have a cat and her name is Maizy. She is four years old and I got her when she was almost 4 weeks old. I would take Daisy for walks and if I could take her with me to other places I did. One of the places I took her was to the pet store. I no longer wear a mask unless I have to. If you prefer for me to wear one please let me know and I will wear one. I use to work at a job which required me to work a 10 hour shift. I am now working at a full time job which has 8 hour shifts. I can work around my schedule if needed. My supervisor does work with me on switching my days around if needed. I can’t keep your pet in my apartment due to rules and restrictions but I can come to your home. I will provide my own food and necessities.

About: Hello and welcome to our little side of dog paradise! I will need a meet and greet before I can commit to any extent of stay. All dogs must be current on shots and show no symptoms of infection or intestinal issues. Charlie, my last dog was a dachshund, she was not a good social fit for most dogs and we were very limited in taking her or leaving her with anybody. I loved her dearly but she was a total pill! Dottie our new cattle dog mix is just wonderful with other dogs, and because she loves to play...here we are on this site! Dottie is such a great host to all dogs in our house I thought why not? I work from home and also have times where I need to be gone but never for more than 3 hours at a time. I will never book if I am too busy to be a good dog parent. That is a promise. I have a flexible schedule that I am in charge of at all times. I would like to see a complete profile with photos to consider a booking. I am not looking to make this my primary business and only want to cater to the right pets that fit our life. I am not a dog trainer but do love them dearly when they are in my care. A good fit for us is a typical fun loving dog that likes everybody and wants to play and walk. I do believe another good fit would be the super lazy or old pet that just likes to lay around or be petted. I am all about them. They need to be house trained crate trained is a plus. I can’t take any aggressive tendencies toward kids, cats or other dogs. I would also like to avoid dogs that have intense anxiety or tend to be destructive. If our home sounds like a good fit reach out! Our days start early at 6:00am Monday-Friday, the weekends depend on our Schedule. We are also early to bed at 8:00pm so would like to avoid late pick ups but can understand if it’s a late flight or a long drive in a day to get back home. I Have a nice house in an awesome south east Springfield neighborhood, It comes with a wood 6ft privacy fence. I have a 9 year old kid who loves pets as well. We have Felix, a 3 year old male tabby who comes in and out on his own free will at all times of the day. He is indifferent to dogs, doesn't want to hang out with them but not going to bite or attack anybody. He is a good boy. Dottie is our new adopted dog. We got her from care rescue shelter in August 2025 to foster and eventually sealed the deal for keeps. She is a lovely little creature that loves to play and run around the backyard with her other dog buddies. Dottie has a crate and we still use it at times but she is pretty well allowed to roam around. She is crate trained and potty trained. Basically I am pretty easy dog mamma. If they need rest, they get it. If they want to play and run they can. They come in and out when they want. That's how we roll at our house.

About: I’ve cared for and trained my own dogs over the years, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family member. I’m home throughout the day, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, frequent potty breaks, playtime, and daily walks. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any house rules you use at home. My goal is to make their stay feel comfortable, safe, and as much like home as possible! I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I’m able to spend lots of time with the dogs in my care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. We have a fenced yard for supervised play and potty breaks, and I can provide at least one walk each day along with plenty of playtime and attention. I know leaving your dog with someone new can be nerve-racking, especially the first time, so I’m also happy to send pictures and updates throughout their stay. ❤️ Every dog is different, and I’m happy to learn their routine, personality, favorite things, and little quirks so they can feel right at home while they’re here. I have a fenced yard and will play in the yard with them. I will do prioritize comfort and brain stimulation by allowing for a lot of playtime and walks if your dog allows.

About: My husband WFH while I love on pets full time! We have fostered through rescue organizations for 6 years now, always a rewarding experience! We used to do Rover full time in Kansas City KS, 2022-2024 before moving to our current house in MO. I helped raise 4 tiny puppies and found them furever homes. We have hosted up to 11 dogs at once utilizing 3 sections of the house as play group areas and rotation outside every couple hours. We recently fostered a puppy, Millie, who turned out to have a terminal life threatening illness. We adopted her and cared for her until her time to go was up. We also have a 6 year old dog that is now epileptic and on daily seizure meds. We have experience with all ages and medical conditions of life. As for training, I taught my first dog how to use buttons to communicate, crate train, and the regular dog commands. This is my full time job, my life's purpose, all thanks to my supportive husband who works from home. Every dog deserves the devotional and loyal love they give so freely! I am here to give back to them all the love they share and more. Through life I have learned that Safety and Trust are key to every relationship and home environment. Before integrating the dogs together, it is imperative I spend intentional time with the new dog to help it adjust to its new environment or to my new presence.

About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! About: I’ve actually been pet sitting for years and have volunteer experience with the ASPCA. I’ve cared for senior and special needs dogs. We love all pets though I’ve even pet sat lizards snakes and cats. My schedule is pretty flexible I work remotely as a contractor for a big company Monday through Friday. Although I’d prefer daytime bookings let me know what you’re needing My dogs eat chicken free food cause our pug is allergic. Mushu’s special care is we wipe his wrinkles & ears daily with a weekly bath. Buddy is a tank who can eat anything but he needs his paws trimmed once a month. Buddy deals with anxiety from being a sheepdog with no sheep so he has lots of toys and an occasional cbd treat.

About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.
About: We love dogs! We are called first when any of our friends go out of town. We have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages from older doxies to young mutts and we love large rotties too. We are also okay with special needs dogs and we make sure your dog gets their medications when scheduled. Our lab loves to make new friends with dogs of all sizes. We have a nice privacy fenced in back yard with a kiddie pool to help the dogs keep cool during the summer even though they will spend most of the time inside. Please know that if your pup stays with us he or she will be treated like a part of the family. We love dogs! I help my Dad on his farm only when I'm not scheduled to care for a pup I'm hosting. I'm free to stay at home all day with your pet. I always keep an eye on what's going on. I'm usually outside if our pups are. If I'm watching a pet at your home, I don't make messes.
About: I've taken care of my Chihuahua for 17 years. I also took dog training for a while. I'm super caring and love all animals. I will gladly watch your pet! I currently work remotely, full time so I will be able to take your pet out as much as they need. I am home most of the day. I live in a house with a nice fenced in backyard. My Australian Shepherd, Elsa loves to play fetch outdoors, while my Chihuahua tans in the sun.

About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! Currently in my home I have a 1 year old Shihpoo name Mocha and a 5 year old Heeler/Dauschund mix named Luna. I promise to take care of your fur babies just as if they were mine! I am a single mother with lots of time on my hands to love on pets. I have a daughter in Junior High and a son in High School so I do run them back and forth to their activities but otherwise I’m ready to spend time with the fur babies. I have a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I have a couple big trees for shade while pets are playing outdoors and a covered back porch for relaxing.

She is very knowledgeable about feline behavior and tuned into the adjustment process they were going through being in a new place. I was very impressed with the way she helped my kitties feel safe, calm, and entertained like spaces they could have privacy, a cat tree to play or sleep on, and assorted toys (they loved the robot laser!). We clarified how frequently I wished to be updated on how they were doing and she gave me details about their activity, eating and drinking, and when she tucked them in for the night. About: I've had dogs my entire life! My first pup that was actually mine was a Great Dane named Mazie. So I've definitely had experience with big dogs and am pretty comfortable with them. I've also owned pit bulls that ended up having puppies so I've been able to experience the complete dog journey from newborn to final bark. ( :( ) I do work full time but am able to do a drop-in during my lunch hour if needed. I'm also available most nights and weekends! I do work full time down town, but I get a one hour lunch break and can let your pet out or go on walks during that time! My evenings and weekends are generally free to help with pet care! I don’t have a fence, but I have a nice full yard and my dog Laney is super friendly and will keep your pup company!
