I work at a school so I am free at most times during the summer months! During the school year I am available after 4PM and on weekends. About: Hi there! My name is Cal and I live in Heber City. I am a student studying environmental science.I grew up around dogs on our family farm up north and later in our lovely home in Alameda and I have been dog sitting and house sitting for friends my whole life. I am a positive, upbeat and happy person which makes me great with pups of all sizes and personalities. I am also patient and I love being outdoors, so walking or running your dog is a perfect fit for me. I love having regulars as it allows me to get to know your dog on a more personal level and work with the owner to make sure all the pups needs are met. About: I’ve grown up with a dog for most my life, so I’ve become quite comfortable around animals. I’ve also been pet-sitting my neighbor’s, colleagues, friend’s, and family’s animals for years. I’ve worked with high energy puppies who require lots of patience and attention, and I’ve spent time with senior dogs who just need a little company and extra support. No matter what type of dog they are, I’ll always do my best to take care of them! School and work are a priority for me, but I will still spend as much time as I can with your precious pets! I want you and your pet to feel the most at ease -- in that of a known and comfortable environment. I'm amenable and responsive to any instructions, preferences, and needs. Most recently, I cared for a two-year-old mini Golden Doodle (while housesitting in Northern California) that unexpectedly developed an unfortunate "hot spot". Through diligent communication with her owners (who were vacationing in Europe), we coordinated how best to proceed. This included several visits to a vet, where she also, as it turned out, had double ear infections. Treatment protocol required both topical and oral medications twice daily. I recorded an audio of the summary diagnosis from the vet and shared this with her humans, as well as regular updates and photos of the healing progress. Simultaneously, I was asked to move her to a balanced raw diet (like that of my own dog), and which required more effort but that was entirely inline with what I'm already accustomed.

About: I have been with various rescue organizations for over 30 years. I have helped with adoptions, medical visits, home visits, shelter assessments, and events. I have rescued many animals with health issues and have extensive experience caring for more challenging animals. I am very active and love having dogs joining the fun. I currently have two senior dogs with reduced activity levels. I hike, bike, ski, SUP, and your furry friend can come along for these activities or chill on the couch with extra snuggles. I have a very flexible schedule that will allow me to accommodate your pet's needs. I like to adhere to a schedule your pet is accustomed to. My pets are all indoor dogs, well taken care of, and slightly spoiled. They have regular feeding, exercise, and medication schedules. I will adhere to your pet's regular schedule as much as possible.

About: I just have one year left at BYU, and I’m eager to make the most of my time in Utah. Getting to know my neighbors and exploring local spots with their adorable pets seems like a perfect way to spend my free time meaningfully. Growing up, my family started a dog rescue, This One Starfish, and we've fostered dozens of dogs over the years. I have two Pomeranians, Samson and Louisa, and a Lab-Pit mix, named Charl. He went above and beyond our expectations, walked Daisy, every day, and kept the cats (Simba, Mo, and Snap) safe n sound, litter scooped, fed, including following their dietary needs. He sent photos daily to keep us updated, and when we returned home, he had on his own accord replaced a burnt out bulb on our microwave, and repaired a hinge on one of our cupboards that had been an annoying issue for weeks and I never got to it.
