About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

“We visit Stowe often and sometimes don’t bring our dog because we didn’t know anyone here that could do visits for her if we are out for a long period. Alison solved that problem! She did a great job with Maisy, while we were out all day - two visits, and Maisy warmed up to Alison quickly. When Maisy was timid at the beginning of the first visit, Alison knew just what to do to, and by the second visit Maisy welcomed Alison in with a wagging tail and led her all around the neighborhood on their walk. Thank you Alison! We will see you again for future visits!”

About: I've been taking care of pets (cats, dogs, and rabbits) my entire life. One of my career highlights was working at the Philadelphia Zoo. Granted, I was working as a puppeteer, but I love being around animals every day. I currently have two beloved cats of my own, and I'm excited to meet your pets! I'm also a freelance puppeteer and writer - so when I'm between projects I have a very flexible schedule and will be happy to take care of your pets! I pride myself on being good with animals, love winning them over, and am a very empathic person. While I love a friendly creature, I'm also good at giving animals space if they're shy around new people, etc.

About: I grew up with litters of German Shepherd puppies which sparked my lifelong love of animals. As adult, I raised and bred Labrador Retrievers. I now share my home with five cats, two Labs and six chickens. I'm also a proud grandparent to two wonderful grandchildren. Retired and living in Vermont. I'm recently retired and spending my time doing what I love most. Beling arond animals. I enjoy going on walks, playing and simply keeping pets company. If you ever need a little help with your furry friend whether it's a walk, some playtime, or just a visit while you're out. I can take them to the dog parks or to the waling paths.

About: I’ve taking care of all types of animals from dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, llamas, cows, and many more! So nothing really bothers me! Just looking to make some extra side work to help pay off my student loans. Also maybe open up a savings account and pay some bills. I am a dog trainer during the week so I have plenty experience of caring for dog and other animals making sure they have all their proper necessities at all times! I am currently working MWT but can fit a request in anywhere I am working out in Walden & live in Eden. Just message me would love to meet your fur baby! I would care for them with love and spend extra time with them make sure they get everything they needed during that time. If it was a walk or just. Check in

“It was very reassuring to have Julia checking in on our cats while we were gone. Our area had a very bad rainstorm while we were gone and she let us know that the cats were fine. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again in the future.”

About: I've had pets of all ages for my entire life—cats and dogs as well as birds, fish, bunnies, rats... I am a huge animal lover—and it has a lot to do with my upbringing <3 My mom was the kind of person who would never kill a spider and instead gently scoop it up with a piece of paper and shuttle it outside to safety. I was lucky enough to grow up right on the ocean in Nova Scotia, surrounded on the other 3 sides by woods. So much wildlife! One time my mom found an injured Great Blue Heron in our yard, and somehow got it into our car and drove it to the vet, even though it pecked at her from the back seat the whole time lol! (The vet was able to mend its broken leg and release it back into the wild!) All this to say, looking after animals has always been a huge part of my life. I am often the person my friends contact when they need a pet-sitter while they go on vacation. I'm reliable, communicative, and intuitive. I'm always happy to administer medications (having done this for many of my own pets in their later years), follow specific diets and feeding schedules, go for walks, give extra cuddles (or less cuddles), whatever makes the animal and their human comfortable! I'm also happy to water your plants while you're gone, bring in your mail, refill the bird feeder, whatever you need within reason! I'm currently working from home building my coaching business, so I'm very flexible! I can work from anywhere since I do most of my coaching online, and I can set my own hours around your pet's needs. I will treat your fur-babies with as much care and tenderness as I treat my own. Every animal has their own distinct personality and routine, and I'm extremely respectful of each animal's individual needs. I'm constantly aware of how special this pet is to someone. There's a feeling of reverence—we are so lucky to have these amazing creatures in our lives <3

“Agnes was great! She came and dropped in on our two kitties while we were out. She shared photos and updates every time and gave us peace of mind. She also took good care of our home during her visits. We came home to happy kitties!”

About: Since as early as I can remember I have grown up with dogs, and other animals. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, horses, and some exotic animals as well (small and large animals). I am always ready for a challenge and love spending time with any dog! I have experience in a variety of dog training areas including hunting dogs and service dogs. I am also a pre-veterinary student with basic animal care knowledge! I have worked with a variety of breeds ranging from retrievers and pointers to terriers and toy-breeds. I love working with dogs of all ages and am capable of caring for newborn puppies and your older furry friends! I also have over nine years of house-sitting and pet-sitting experience. Caring for pets is one of my passions so it is easy to make it a part of my daily routine, even while I'm working! Please note, I do work full-time and as such my week-day schedule is typically limited but I am happy to discuss specific options. When caring for your pets they become like my own. I supervise outside time, even if there is a fence and always keep them close!

“Maria was wonderful! She did so well with our anxious, elderly cat and was even able to give him medicine twice a day (which he hates) and she took care of our chickens too! Everyone was doing great when we came home, and Maria updated us consistently. 10/10”

“I was really nervous about leaving my 18 year old cat with someone else but Ariel put me completely at ease. She was so kind and caring with my cat and completely comfortable administering medication and following special feeding instructions. She also sent me great pictures of my pet each day and was very communicative about how things were going. When I arrived home my cat was content and well cared for. I would highly recommend her for any pet care situation. Thank you Ariel”

“Giuliana was so incredible! We last minute needed someone to drop in to see our very needy and social cat while we went to visit our families 8 hours away over Thanksgiving. Giuliana responded so quickly and not only was accommodating over the last minute holiday planning, but also drove to us about 40 minutes away to pick up the apartment keys and meet our cat. She also took such good care of him, sending me pictures and videos each day, and spending more time with him than we had asked - which was such a kind thing to do and made us feel so happy knowing he wasn’t alone for so long. Literally the best and we will definitely use her in the future!!”

About: I've cared for all kinds of animals including farm animals like chickens and goats to typical house pets, Right down to a sugar glider once I have a wonderful schedule that allows me 3 days off. With school getting ready to pick back up again and winter on its way. I'm looking for a little extra income and what better way than to spend some hours with the best things on the planet, pets! Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are my days off so those are the days I will be available most often. Though, because I don't leave for work until noon, I would be open to morning drop-ins when possible on the weekends. It's important for pets to know they're taken care of fresh food and water. Some play time and company clean litter boxes and walks. Their comfort is key.

About: I've always been around animals growing up. I've cared for all different kinds of livestock, cats, dogs, and small animals like bunnies and reptiles (no snakes or spiders though yet). And I love every minute of it. I have over 10 years of professional pet caring experience. I've house/pet sat for family members before. And local people in my town. I've also worked and still work in horse boarding barns, small family owned barns, and a local large animal sanctuary. I've even volunteered at my local animal hospital multiple times. I'm always willing to bend to the clients personal request when it comes to caring for their fur babies and homes. Right now I'm still in school until June 8th 2025. I have 3 jobs. One is seasonal and 2 are year around. So my schedule has a lot going on. Luckily my jobs are pretty flexible making things like house/pet sitting doable. I'm a very patient person. So when it comes to dealing with pets and tasks I take things one step at a time. My pets are well loved and know it. I have never gotten a complaint from any past or present client. I am more then willing to communicate different needs and come up with a plan to make your pets and you getting to know me a good and relieving experience. I'm also more then happy to give regular updates and send lots of pictures.

“Emily took great care of my two cats while we were away. It's clear she really loves animals and they were very glad to see her each day. She sent pictures and gave me daily updates as well.”

About: I have spent much of my adulthood and childhood taking care of animals of all kinds. I love snuggles and walks almost as much as dogs do! I will play with them, clean up after them, and make sure they're as happy and comfortable as possible.

Olivia F.
“Olivia is amazing with pets!!! I have had Olivia housesit for me several times in the past several years while having dogs in the house. She is loving and cares deeply for animals. What I’ve loved most about her is the connection she seems to have with all animals. I have a, let’s say, more difficult antisocial little dog, but Olivia only saw this as a challenge and made a point of always going out it of her way to make my dog feel that she cared about her. She did so in a quiet patient way, which earned her my dog’s trust. I have never had any issues with Olivia caring for my dogs the many times she took care of them. I’d highly recommend Olivia to take care of your pets!!”

“Stoph is a gem! She took care of my cat Aubergine when I was out of town and even checked on the plants. You can't go wrong with Stoph!”

Janice C.
“Janice has always been the most amazing with her dogs. Everyone in town who had received a dog from Janice we call them “Janice dogs” because they’re all so well behaved. She started training them from day one and they have the best manner because they’re so well cared for. I would not only consider getting another dog from Janice, but I would also trust her 100% with the care of my pet.”

“Lauren looked after my 2 dogs,(and tropical fish) or 2 weeks in-house, during a vacation this spring. The dogs loved it so much more than doggy day care, being in their own house with the full attention of one carer. They ate and slept well and had walks and fun with Lauren, who was very responsible with them and the property.”

“Bella and Cameron were very attentive and responsible pet sitters and they were so good at drawing out our shy cat! We loved the cute photos from them playing with her!”

Kristina C.
“Katt watched my two dogs and one ferret. She was wonderful. It was great to have a farent (farent parent) watch my little guy. Most people don't really know what they are doing with exotics. It was cool to hear she has experience with snakes too. I didn't need her for that, but my neighbor did so it was super handy. Very sweet girl.”

Rosalynn Z.
“Rosalyn is an awesome person. I've known Roz for three years now and I have never been let down. She's always prompt and caring and loves animals. She is compassionate and always willing to help. I would highly recommend Roz for any position she is applying for.”

Emily Z.

“Emily took great care of my two cats while we were away. It's clear she really loves animals and they were very glad to see her each day. She sent pictures and gave me daily updates as well.”

Gena Z.
“Gena is a literal angel and is always my first choice when I need any help with my pets. She is a quiet and calm person who not only easily connects with animals but finds joy in spending time with them. Last time she house sat for me she spent time trying to figure out what novelty tricks my dogs can do which they loved and she found hysterical. She is also incredibly tidy, every time she has house sat for me the house has honestly looked better when I got home. My pets and I are very grateful for Gena”
