“Ana was phenomenal with my fur baby! Right off the bat I could tell she was thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely cared about our little furry family members she provides care to. I am sooo grateful I found Ana on Rover, and if I should need to board my sweet little fur baby in Fayetteville again in the future, Ana will be the first person I reach out to. Thank you Ana! 😇”

“Alexandra was amazing with my dog! I got pictures every day and I could tell he was having a blast every day. He got lots of love and exercise. I’ll definitely be boarding my dog with Alexandra again.”

“Taylor was wonderful to work with when it came to having someone watch our boys while we spent time with family at the beach. She answered any questions I had, and reassured me that my boys would be loved and taken care of. She sent plenty of updates during the day and before bed, along with some photos, this was greatly appreciated as it helped me relax and enjoy my time with family. Ace & Loki can get pretty anxious when they are away from us, and with someone they aren’t familiar with, but Taylor was able to get them settled and in a good routine very quickly. Hopefully she will still be working through Rover in the future next time we need someone to watch our boys when we visit my in-laws again!”

“I couldn't be happier with the care my boys received! Casey kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My boys came home happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Casey to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Folks, if you are searching for the BEST, you have reached your destination! This was our first time using Rover.com and let me tell you, Mikayla made us feel at ease and ensure we were updated throughout our trip. Going above and beyond, she provided texts, videos, and picture updates over the course of watching our pet. We truly could not have asked for a better first time experience and looking forward to using her more in the future!”

“Michel was wonderful with our dog, Tucker! She was super responsive, sent updates and pictures throughout the stay, and made us feel completely at ease leaving him overnight. Tucker looked happy and comfortable the entire time. We’ll definitely be booking with her again, highly recommend!”

“Natalie was so great with Remi! She kept me updated regularly with pictures and took him out on multiple adventures. We’ll definitely be booking with Natalie again in the future!”

“Lucia is AMAZING! She cares for my pups like they are her own! She always sends pictures and updates me a couple of times per day ❤️ The pups always come happy and tired!”

“Cynthia did amazing with our sweet doodle. I highly recommend for anyone who has to be out of town for an extended period. She made our Rosie feel at home, even though Rosie is very timid and shy.”

“Kayla was great! She gave updates and sent photos. Her dogs are so sweet, and my pup had a ton of fun. Her home is spacious and she has a yard for the dogs to run around! Will book with her again😊”

“This is my first time using this app and I struck gold. Great family, sent pictures with great communication and feedback back. My dog will definitely be visiting this family again. Great choice if you’re unsure, you won’t regret it”

About: As a pet parent to two dogs and a cat, I know firsthand that every animal has their own personality, quirks, and needs. Whether they’re full of energy, a little shy, or just want someone to snuggle with, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at! I’m also a mom to a little girl who absolutely LOVES animals! She’s growing up surrounded by furry friends and shares my love for all things fourlegged. Of course, any interactions with pets are always supervised, and I understand that not every animal is comfortable around little ones. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and keeping pets on their normal routines. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I’ll treat yours with the same patience, attention, and love I give my own. You can absolutely expect pictures and updates while you’re away! I’m a stay-at-home mom and full-time online college student, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Between schoolwork, spending time with my daughter, and caring for our own little zoo, animals are already a big part of my everyday routine. I’m home quite a bit throughout the week, which gives me plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, playtime, walks, and extra attention. I love having a routine but also understand that every pet has their own schedule, and I’m happy to work with yours! Whether your fur baby needs some company during the day or a little extra TLC while you’re away, I’d love to help! I know every animal is different. Some want to be your shadow all day, and others need a little time to warm up. I’m happy to give them whatever space or attention they need. I’ll always make sure introductions are done carefully, especially with my daughter and our pets. I also know how nerve racking it can be leaving your animals with someone else. I’ll follow whatever routines or instructions you leave me, and I’m more than happy to send pictures and updates so you know how they’re doing!
About: I’ve been caring for and watching animals of all ages for most of my life. Everything from dogs and cats to pigs and chickens. I’ve never met a pet I didn’t love! I work a fully-time remote job, so I’m always home. I’m available any day of the week and am happy to make accommodations whenever needed! My back yard is fully fenced and a little over half an acre. There is plenty of room to sniff and explore. I also live in a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks.
“I dropped off Basal for a few days for his first time away from me. And Kira consistently kept me updated about him, with her and her daughter taking the best care of him. Even when I picked him up he almost rather wanted to stay with them then come home. Would definitely recommend to anyone who cares about their pup.”

“Happy to have had Ashley watch our dog. Glad our dog got to play with her kids. Out of pure selfishness, we hate to see her move out of the area in a few months. 5 stars, highly recommend. Thank you Ashley!”

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
98% of sitters in Wakulla can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wakulla home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wakulla.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Wakulla sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
