“Erica was great with my young Golden Retriever. I contacted her last minute when another became ill and couldn't make it. She arrived a little early, played with him and took our very energetic boy for a walk. She came back to feed him dinner and took him out again, sent photos. The huge smile on my golden's face tells me he also would give her 5 stars. I highly recommend Erica. 5 stars!”

About: I got my first dog right out of college and have had 5 resident dogs since then. I have raised dogs from puppies and have cared for dogs through their senior years. I have been a foster for a local rescue for the past 2 years and also serve as an adoption screener working hard to find dogs a loving home. I have fostered puppies to adult dogs, and a variety of breeds and mixes. I feel honored to provide these dogs with a temporary loving and caring home. I am experienced at bathing dogs, trimming their nails, and giving them any oral medication required. I work full time but have a very flexible schedule. Some days I go to the office, some days I work from home. I can generally work my schedule around your needs. I don't have a fenced in yard but I live on 2 acres of land. I love taking dogs on long walks and live close to various trail walks and the bike path. If I need to leave the house, I will crate dogs if needed or not; it all depends on the care you have already established with your dog. I love having dogs sleep in bed with me and cuddle on the couch. I have twin 17 year old daughters who, when they are home, will happily give your dog attention and love. We recently adopted a dog after losing our German Shepherd over a year ago. Aria is a sweet 1 year old husky who was rescued from Providence, and after fostering her, we couldn't let her go. She gets along well with all dogs she has met.

About: I have had dogs of my own throughout my life and love to watch the neighborhood pups! I have watched a few different type of animals including cats and birds. I am a big animal lover and I do my best to make sure they are happy while their owners are not around. I’m currently a nursing and biology student at Charleston Southern university. I am around in Narragansett for the full summer if you need a last minute sitter or vacation sitter! I return to South Carolina full time August 15th. All meal times are as specified to your pets needs, I try to give them about 3-4 hours of time to play or walk them outside a day (spread between meal times/before bed). I can also make accommodations for any pets with disabilities!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have been caring for them most of my life. From walking and playing to feeding and giving meds, I’m comfortable with all aspects of pet care. I’ve dog sat for neighbors, friends, and even my boss, which taught me how to adapt to different dogs’ personalities and routines. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a laid-back senior, I make sure every dog gets the attention and care they deserve. My experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals set me apart. I volunteer from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on most weekdays, but I’m wide open during mornings, evenings, and weekends! I’m also an early bird, so I’m available as early as 5 AM if needed. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I always follow their routines as closely as possible to keep their pets comfortable and stress-free. I take time to learn each dog’s personality, preferences, and any special instructions—whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, or favorite walking routes. I treat every pet like they’re my own, giving them lots of attention, affection, and playtime. Cleanliness and safety are top priorities, and I make sure to leave the home just as I found it. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send updates and photos so you know your pet is in great hands.

“Sydney is fantastic! Today was her first time walking our 1 year old Golden Retriever. She was extremely thorough and professional. Our interactions beforehand left me completely confident in her visit. It’s clear that she truly cares about your pet. We highly recommend Sydney!”

“Shannon was easy to work with and took great care of our Ted while we were away. As our buddy is getting older, he needs meds at specific times of the day; we appreciate her punctuality. We can’t thank her enough.”

About: Please note: our beloved golden retriever, Charlie, has been diagnosed with a heart tumor and pulmonary hypertension. We are on a hiatus from dog sitting for this period of time while we care for him and give him all the love we can for the time we have left with him. We will update our calendar as we’re able, and look forward to a return to sitting when it is appropriate. Thank you for understanding. We are a dog loving family with experience from puppyhood to senior care. We’ve raised dogs from breeders and we’ve fostered/rescued. One of our beloved pups had a severe genetic heart disease, so we’ve dealt with medical conditions and the accompanying drugs and modified care they require. Through all of our canine experiences, we’ve learned that dogs thrive with consistency, positive reinforcement, and lots of love and affection. Our two retrievers are a huge part of our family, and we look forward to your pup falling in with our routines like he/she is one of our own. I work from home Monday-Friday. Your dog(s) would spend their weekdays joining our two dogs either curled up at my feet or playing in our fenced-in backyard. On weekends and evenings they’ll enjoy the extra company of our dog-loving teenagers, who will spoil them rotten with walks, playtime, and lots of attention! We have a big, fenced in yard so the dogs will get plenty of outdoor time. For the most part, your dog(s) will have free rein to be with our family and our dogs doing whatever we’re doing — but we do have several crates and portable fences that we can use as needed to provide separation and quiet time. We want your dog to be comfortable and happy in our home, so we’ll work closely with you before your visit to make sure we understand his/her habits and routines!

“Tom is super dependable. He is flexible, willing to work with you and your needs. You can count on him being consistent . He is not intimidated by any dog issues. Great friendly guy .”

“Victoria did a wonderful job taking care of my 2 kitties. They loved her and it showed in all the photos she took. She sent me details and pictures on every visit and even took out the garbage for me. I will definitely hire her again.”
