About: I have dog sat for the past ten years. During that time I have bottle fed puppies, administered medications and cared for a senior dog who had ALS. I currently work freelance remotely so I am available anytime during the week to look after your fur babies and I love to go on long walks so they will get plenty of exercise. I am a person who is big on personal space and would never want someone to feel uncomfortable in their own home. So, I would make sure that your home is the same way that you left it.

About: I grew up with 4 dogs and 3 cats (all of which were rescues) since the age of 15 and that is where my love of pets began. About: I have had my home base business for over 20 years and I'm looking to try something new. I have been a dog owner my entire life. I currently have 3 small dogs. As your pet sitter, I will never bring my dogs along with me. They have a dad at home to take care of them. My schedule is very flexible and I understand the need for help with pets. My seasonal job requires me to travel in the summer and getting pet sitters is sometimes tricky. I guess I should say, getting a trust worthy pet sitter who is going to deliver on her promises can be tricky.

About: I've had cats since I was 2. Then we got a dog when I was 10. I take him for walks and throw a ball in the yard for him too play. I did go to my friend's house and take care of their dog while on vacation. I bathe and feed him and everything else. I also watched my grandma's dog when she went on vacation. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
