About: Aloha, my name is Shannon! My family moved to Waikoloa in 2022. I have 10 years of experience working with dogs as a professional dog groomer. I am comfortable handling all breeds and personalities and strive to make them feel at home with me. My husband and I own an award winning dog grooming salon on the mainland and we are very passionate about pet care. We have 5 years of experience pet sitting for our grooming clients and are excited to be offering our services to the island. We strive to make every pet feel like part of our family! My husband and I work from home so we have plenty of time to spend with your pets! We will try to keep their day as close to their normal routine as possible to help them feel at home! We have two dogs to keep your dogs company! If they prefer humans to dogs then we can keep them in a separate part of our home. We provide supervised play and walks if needed. Dogs are crated at night or if we leave the home for their safety as well as our own dogs safety.

About: I want your pet to feel taken care of when you are out of town. The bond that people have with their pets is special and I know that first hand. I work remotely in the environmental space and have plenty of time through the day to give your pet love and attention. My dogs typically eat 2 times a day and play for ball or go on walks at least once a day. But I am happy to accommodate your pets special needs. I have a fenced in yard and two incredible friendly pups to keep your pet safe and entertained. I will also be taking your pet for daily walks and given them plenty of 1:1 attention and care.

Since then I have done pet sits in many states and countries, seeing some pets through their lifetimes. My clients have included dogs, cats, bunnies, tortoises, snails, fish and birds. I have also cared for chickens and horses and am willing to look after small farm animals such as goats and sheep. About: I have had both cats and dogs since I was in Kindergarten. Neighbors, friends, and family members have relied on me to watch their animals while away. I currently dog-sit a neighbor's senior terrier when they leave on vacation. I have a friend that trusts me to watch her older dog as well. Both dogs are age 14 and require some special care and attention. They appreciate the company and cuddles. I am very active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks. I always adhere to the pup's acitivity level and age. I have also cared for a neglected pitbull terrier in my old neighborhood. The dog was chained all the time and not cared for. I asked the owners if I could walk him daily. I have removed ticks and groomed him in an effort to provide some much needed attention and TLC. I have sought out medical care for the dog and helped to build a better shelter. I have also worked to educate the family on what it means to be a dog owner and treat the pup like a family member. Dogs just yearn to protect and be close to thier pack (owners). I still walk him to this day even though I know longer live in the neighborhood. The dog can be aggressive with other people and animals but is always affectionate towards me. I had to train the dog how to walk on a leash as it had not been walked in years. At first, the dog was a bit wild and did not know what to do. Now, he can heel and listens to commands. He even sits for some treats! I know how to use caution and practice safety measures when walking the dog so that others and the agressive dog are kept safe and unharmed! I have a bleeding heart for animals. I am great with animals of all ages, personalities, and fitness levels! I am a social worker and love to give pets as much attention as possible! I am sensitive to their needs and always make sure your pet is comfortable. I treat them as one of my own! am available to dog-sit/ house-sit or board smaller sized dogs.
