About: Hi, my name is Taylor! I am a recent high school graduate who will be attending NC State University in the fall to study Animal Science. I have past experience with pet sitting, often for longer than a week. Along with that, I have over a year of experience shadowing at a local veterinary hospital. About: I’ve had several dogs, I have 4 at the moment and make sure each one gets the same amount of attention and love. I take them on walks and play with them when I can. My dogs are able to go free in my yard, there’s a bunch of woods that that play in and explore. I take them for walks on a trail and always make sure they feel loved.

About: Because I work remotely, pets are rarely left alone for long periods of time. I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and energy levels... from a senior dog who became blind and deaf, which taught me patience and gentle, consistent care, to my current puppy, where I focus on training, routine, exercise, and positive reinforcement for high-energy needs. I also have two cats with very different personalities, so I am very attentive to body language and always respect each pet’s comfort level, allowing them to warm up at their own pace. I take safety, trust, and comfort very seriously and always care for pets as if they were my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine while providing a calm, secure environment. In my home, pets are closely supervised and never left unattended for long periods of time. Because I work remotely, I’m able to be present throughout the day to monitor behavior, provide regular potty breaks, walks, and attention, and ensure pets are comfortable and relaxed. I keep my space clean, pet-friendly, and free of hazards, and I’m careful to follow any household rules provided by owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely. I make sure doors and gates are secure, food and medications are given as directed, and pets receive the level of interaction and exercise they’re used to. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and communicate updates promptly. My goal is always to create a safe, low-stress environment where pets feel secure and owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.
