“Our fur baby and cat, along with our grand dog, had a wonderful stay with James! This was their first visit and they all three made themselves right at home from the moment they met James. Even the cat quickly made friends with him. He has a nice, very clean home with a large fenced backyard for pets to relax and enjoy. James sends daily updates and photos, and is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. He’s such a nice and caring guy with a calming disposition, and it warms our hearts for all of our fur babies to be so content in his presence. Great experience!!”

“We had a great experience having Karmen watch our puppy Scout! She fit us in very last minute and sent us updates about her pup Scout constantly. Our pup didn’t want to leave when we came to pick her up”

“Dianne was great! I have an anxious pup but she made sure she felt safe and got plenty of love and affection. She also sent lots of pics so I knew my girl was well taken care of!”

“Jennifer was great taking care of our Golden Retriever, she was super flexible, kind and communicative. Frequently sending pictures and letting us know how he was doing. I will definitely come back !”

“Melissa was exceptional at watching Juice. She came through at the last minute and was awesome. I couldn't have chosen a better sitter. She sent pictures and was very communicative throughout my time away from my baby. I would definitely book with Melissa again! She was professional and attentive to my fur baby! Thank you! From Juice and Jay”

“Very attentive to your dog's needs and takes the time to learn your fur baby's personality. I have rebooked with Maurice to care for my dog again at the end of May.”

About: Dogs are my favorite. I know how to administer medication and calm them down if they are stressed Sr babies are also welcome. Love all I am a stay at home mom currently in school at home. This is a great way for me to take care of babies and earn money doing something I love. I have two fenced in areas. Babies are always watched while we’re outside at play and during potty time. They are never left alone or out of my sight.
“Liz was absolutely amazing! We needed last-minute boarding for our dog Milo, and she was a total lifesaver. She was incredibly responsive and flexible, which immediately put my mind at ease. We did a quick meet & greet the day before so her dogs and Milo could meet, and it went great. Liz and her family are so warm and welcoming, and you can tell they truly love and understand dogs. Milo had an awesome time playing with the other dogs and came home happy and well cared for. I would trust Liz with Milo again anytime without a doubt. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lori and the care she has given my puppy, Frankie. From the moment I dropped him off, she made me feel completely comfortable and reassured that he was in great hands. She kept me updated daily with messages and pictures of his activities, and it was clear that Frankie was happy, relaxed, and truly enjoying himself — he looked like he was right at home. What meant the most to me was her kindness and flexibility during a very stressful time for me. I am currently in the hospital recovering from back surgery, and at the last minute my doctor told me I needed to stay another night. I reached out to Lori hoping it wouldn’t be a problem, and she immediately reassured me not to worry and that Frankie was perfectly fine staying another night. That simple kindness gave me so much peace of mind while I’m here recovering. Lori has been so attentive and loving with him — honestly, she spoiled him! It means the world to know that Frankie is being cared for and shown the same love and attention that I give him at home. I am incredibly grateful for Lori. Frankie absolutely has a permanent sitter whenever we need one in the future, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants their pet cared for like family.”

“Candace was absolutely impeccable! She went above and beyond and my puppy was treated like family right away. I received updates/ pictures throughout the day and reassurance that my puppy slept through the night. I will be using her continuously and recommending her to everyone I know. Absolute 10/10 service 💓”

“Simba loves going to Veronica's house!! He has a blast running around with the other dogs. Veronica has tons of land and space. She keeps the dogs active with activities. Simba is worn out when he comes home from all the fun. She takes great care of him and sends lots of pics of him. She's the best!!!”

“This was Coffee and Daisy’s first overnight stay with Rebekah. They did wonderful. Coffee had a lot of special instructions and Rebekah followed everything I asked. Her and her family was wonderful. Every time I text to check in she was quick to respond. It was a great stay!”

“Where do I start? She is the most considerate dog care taker. I trust her with my pup any day :) Thank you for your hospitality and all that you do to make my family feel at ease when we are out of town away from our anxious little thing.”

“Jeronay was great. I have 2 yorkies and she owns one. I felt so comfortable leaving my fur babies with her. She only keeps small dogs and 2 at a time. My dogs are scared of large dogs. She is so sweet and her house if dog friendly I didn’t worry a bit about them.”

“I would highly recommend Langston! He has a wonderful personality! This was my first time away from my pup and he took perfect care. He gave daily updates and pictures. His yard is a dog’s paradise. It’s spacious and clean! He is also a dog dad which was great Duece had a big brother to show him around and play!”

Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
