âRaelin was very responsive by text message and through the app. I appreciated her flexibility with me. We requested to change our plans while my dog was in her care and she was very accommodating. She was a huge help and my family was able to enjoy a short trip to Vero Beach over a long weekend, thanks to her services. We will definitely seek her out again next time we stay in Vero Beach.â

âKayleigh and her family have been such a great find as new residents! You can tell how much they love and care for the dogs. She takes care of Frank like he is her own and has been so responsive and flexible to our needs. I highly highly recommend her for all your pet sitting needs.â

âI cannot say enough great things about Haley and William and the care they provided for my two dogs, From the moment we met, I could tell they truly love dogs and treat them like family. Both of my pups came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. They made sure Bentleyâs special needs were taken care ofâpaying attention to his allergies and sensitive stomachâand kept Winston entertained and active. I received regular updates and photos throughout the day, which gave me total peace of mind. Itâs rare to find caregivers who are both responsible and genuinely affectionate with your pets, but they went above and beyond. I wouldnât hesitate to trust them with my dogs again, and I highly recommend their services to any pet parent looking for a safe, caring, and fun environment.â

âBeatriz was great with Samuel and clearly he had an active, good time during his visit, Sam has a good deal of energy and when I brought him home, he went right down for the evening . . . always a solid indicator! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Beatriz and will use her again.â

About: Iâve always had pets in my life and now would pass on that love and compassion to your dog. Lots of experience in old and young dogs. I am retired and have extra time so my friend told me about Rover and she loves it so I want to enjoy the experience also! I will make whatever steps necessary that are needed to care for your dog in your home. At my home, they will have free roaming of a 2000 square-foot home and enjoy my daughter and my granddaughter also helping love your dog.
About: Hello everyone thank you for taking a look at my profile. I will be in south Florida until August. I recently moved to Manchester from Chattanooga and will service all surrounding areas. Growing up I had a love for animals which was apparent by me caring for the cities uncared for and abandoned strays. (I fed everything that followed me home). It was only fitting as an adult I became a Firefighter enabling me to help people and animals on a much larger scale. During my time in the fire service, I was deployed to help in the rescue effort after the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Upon returning from my deployment, I wanted to learn how to train search and rescue dogs. In my quest to do so, I noticed a trend in rescue groups popping up all over, along with people abandoning their pets. There was an alarming rate of how many dogs were being taken to shelters and euthanized. My mission shifted once I realized I could help. I retired from the Broward Sheriffâs Office in 2015 to further my quest to help people have a better relationship with their furry friends by starting Dunne Right Dog Training. Today along with my sidekick Monster we are sharing our knowledge and passion for keeping these loving dogs in their happy homes furever. Should you decide to use me for any of your pets needs I can assure you that your 4-legged child will be safe and cared for as if they were my own. Your dog will be exercised both mentally and physically, along with any other instructions you have. Medical needs.... no problem! I volunteered at my Vetâs office for several years and assisted with multiple procedures along with medication administration. I recently moved to Chattanooga and will gladly provide further references upon request. Unfortunately at this time I do not have a fenced in yard. I do however go on daily hikes (weather permitting) with my dog, and clients dogs. If you would like your furry friend to join us it will be our pleasure. If you would like you dog to go to a specific park or place that you would like them to go, again I would gladly take them there. If you are more comfortable with your pets staying at home I will care for them in their surroundings. Itâs up to you and what both the human and dog are comfortable with. At this time I am flexible and open to work with your schedule. Reach out to see if we can work together to ensure your pet has the right company while youâre away or busy. I can fit a crate if needed, but I donât require any kind of crate.

About: I have a very large fenced in yard for them to run with my two enthusiastic dogs. I manage my photography business from home, so Iâm around most of the day. Message me to see if I can help. I usually respond fairly quick. My dogs will absolutely welcome your dogs into their pack. J H We live in a house in the Vero Beach with a nice fully fenced in yard. I have 2 dogs, that are use to the company. They will have a blast together! Small dogs might want to find a different sitter.
âStephanie was very gentle with my dog Wren and sensitive to the fact that he might be scared at being separated from me with new people for the first time (he's a "velcro" dog). Although her yard is not fenced in, and no other dogs were in the house that day, I was pleased that she took Wren for a walk in the park across the street from her house, and let him play with some other dogs that were there at the time. She sent me photos of Wren during the day, and from her messages I could tell that she was interacting with him. Wren came home tired and clean (the latter being an issue when I've taken him to commercial doggie daycare businesses.) I will definitely call upon Stephanie the next time I need her service.â

About: My best friends have always been my animals. I was lucky enough to be raised around horses, cows, donkeys, goats, dogs, and of course cats. I have a large ranch style property where we go for walks throughout the day. An initial meet and greet is appreciated so your kids know me and realize they are safe and one of your dirty shirts is always appreciated so they have your scent. I'm also licensed and insured. I'm a homebody and have a ranch style property. I'm up before the sun and start the day. The "kids" are fed and walked first thing and then we go for walks through the day. Its good exercise for all of us... and they can watch the horses. They live in the home like it's their own. I've been told they get excited when they know their mom and dad are dropping them off. I watch how they react and me and the kids go from there. The property is very large. I even have a fake fire hydrant in the back yard (which is pretty cute). The neighbors horses are always fun to watch and pet in the morning. It's very calm here.

If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
