“Kayleigh and her family have been such a great find as new residents! You can tell how much they love and care for the dogs. She takes care of Frank like he is her own and has been so responsive and flexible to our needs. I highly highly recommend her for all your pet sitting needs.”

“Today was our puppy Bleu's first visit with Raelin. It was for a full day and we were nervous bc Bleu had never been away from home or us. Raelin put us at ease right away...Bleu walked right in with her when we dropped him off. She sent us pictures through out the day and Bleu had a blast! Would highly recommend!!!!”

“We loved having Amanda watch our dog for the day! She is very good with communicating and made sure our pet felt right at home. We received pictures and updates through ouch the seat which we loved! ?”

“Jorge & Osvaldo offer a 5 star day car 👌 They are friendly and professional! Today, it was our dog’s first all day daycare and they LOVED IT! When we got to the front door, they went right in and based on many pictures we revived throughout the day, they seemed to be enjoying their stay! We already have a second booking and I am sure we will use them over and over again!”

“Another great stay with Ms Olivia! Bear was happy to arrive and get straight to business (playing). Olivia was great and sent me pictures of how things were going keeping me at ease. Bear seems to have worked through his anxiety issues and Olivia has been a huge part of that!”

“After a meet-and-greet with Hailey and Will, they took Samuel for the day. It went so well that any time in the future when I'll need either daycare or boarding for Sam they will definitely be my "go-to" resource. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hailey/Will , , ,”

“They took GREAT care of Slinky while I was out of town. They sent me pictures of my fur baby and how he was doing throughout his stay with them. Would rate 10/10 if I could, will definitely be booking again in the future! ?”

“Pat is amazing! I was looking for a sitter to not only watch my new fur baby while I was out of town, but also someone who does daycare. When reaching out to Pat she started the process with a meet-and-greet to ensure our fur babies were a good fit, I really appreciated that extra step. I sent my baby to Pat yesterday for daycare for the very first time, and Pat made the experience amazing! She sent me pictures and videos to quell my nerves and sadness for having to leave my baby while I went to work for a 12-hour shift. I felt like she cared for my Miss Lucille like it was her own dog. Speaking of her own dog, Pat has the sweetest fur baby, Gilly. Gilly is a gentle giant who is so patient with Lucille, as Lucille is still learning to play with fur friends. I am 100% satisfied and thrilled to have found Pat as a sitter for my baby, and I already have my next two sittings booked with her.”

“Jessica was truly God sent to me. I,myself have been in the pet sitting industry for over 20 years now and I've been fortunate enough to be able to always have my dogs with me. Since I have become a farmer my dog, Sophie, has been able to come to work with me until this last job I started May 1st which she is not able to come with me. Jessica has provided me a sense of relief and peace of mind knowing that I can leave my older pup safe and sound, in a loving home, with other pups and human attention while I am off at work. Thank you Jessica!!!”

“Nicole was excellent! She gave me updates throughout the day and sent me pictures. She was flexible when I needed to change some dates with her. She is a great sitter!”

“Dan was amazing! I chose him because he was careful and wanted to meet Nakita before accepting the booking. She was comfortable with him almost immediately, and he was exactly what I was looking for! Highly recommend the meet-and-greet for anyone who watches your pups. Thanks Dan for taking great care of our girl🥰”

“Debra did an amazing job watching my little girl Nina. She’s very easy to setup with. She has other great dogs she watches over which gives my dog plenty of play time and socialization. Would highly recommend Debra who clearly loves animals.”

“Wonderful family. Our Turtle was spoiled with their love and attention (they even brushed her out and made her a wonderful fluff ball. We will hope Turtle can visit her new friends again.”

“My goodness. We needed day care for our two pups and, boy, were we pleased with Alexander and Dorys. They were not only communicative, friendly, obvious dog lovers, but took such great care of our boys. It was quite clear they were interacting with our pups, the entire day! We look forward to using them, again. (Especially since the boys can't stop talking about all the fun they had.) We are very grateful.”

About: We adopted our first pups in 2004 and cared for them for 18 pup-snuggled years. During that time, and since then, we have rescued, fostered and adopted animals of all kinds to include chickens, ducks and a pig named Kevin Bacon! Currently, we're home to Guinevere, the mild-mannered, 6 year-old rescued mutt. We do have an 11-year-old hooman "puppy" who is just as loving and respectful of animals as we are. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
