About: Have had a wide variety of animals my whole life! From goats, cats, dogs to even a snake once- you name it. I love them all. I have an Anatolian shepherd & a Siamese cat that are my best friends. I will treat your pets with the same love and respect as I do my own! My availability is usually I’m completely free for walks, drop ins & house sitting Monday-Wednesday and then Thursday-Sunday I work 8:30-4:30 but am able to after. About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

About: AKC certified in puppy training, socialization, breeding health and more I have a professional background in dog care through all stages of life. As I have recently lost my two doggos loving and caring for your dog would truly be a fulfilling experience for me. Working with dogs quickly became my passion when I entered the field years ago. I am often acknowledged for my empathy for animals and ability to notice and address medical concerns, skin conditions, allergic reactions and hygiene needs. I specialize in dog whelping, neonatal puppy care. I have vast variety of areas I have become very knowledgeable, and always eagerly continuing education. Dog grooming and training are large parts of my work as well and all of these roles are ones that I truly enjoy doing. Your dog will be treated with compassion by someone with an educated and experienced background. I have a flexible schedule and can work with you given enough notice. I currently work with a couple of kennels helping with care for many dogs of all ages. I love to spend my time grooming and training. I have grown side by side with and often times birthed the dogs I work with. I am incredibly passionate about what I do and am committed to the dogs I work with. I own a home on a quarter acre lot with a dog that has served multiple dogs very well over the last almost 15 years. The backyard is dog proofed and provides tons of space for physical activity. I am very conscious of foxtail prevention and ensuring a safe setting. It is incredibly important to me to make sure there is no potential risk of exposure to toxic plants or chemicals. Proper cleanliness and sanitization is a very high priority of mine.

About: I’ve grown up primarily with large dogs, those dogs smaller alongside feline friends as cared for by my grandfather and I before his passing. Educating and reinforcing the significance of proper animal care in my calling to love on these furry friends with responsibility and compassion! I’m very flexible, just communicate your preferences and needs as I’ll happily make them happen in order to properly provide service to our furry friends! Providing service at the clients home looks like keeping up with a clean environment, annual check ups via phone with the owner while always remaining alert to the animal’s needs.

About: We invite your 4 Paw friend to be cared for my our owner WIlliam. William lives an active lifestyle and enjoys helping others in his free time. William has been a local resident of El Dorado County since 2015 and has expierance in draining dogs professionally since 2012. William has also worked in a dog kennel, around working dogs, and has expierance in working with working dogs as he was a search and rescue K9 handler for Sacramento County Sheriff Search and Rescue. William can work with your dog on basic obedience, and identifying key things that help you and your dog. William also helps dog owners while they are away with pop in visits, over night visits, and regular farm hand, and ranch work. Let William know what service he can help you with to look after your 4 paw friend. I own and run a local business that specializes in ranch hand, and farm work, however I am able to fit in owners needs daily if needed. I am flexable with peoples schedule as long as communication and notice is given. I currently am not offering dog care, or boarding at my home. I am available for drop in visits, over night stays, and more. Just let me know what works best.

About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! My Son’s 12 year old German Shepard Zani passed a couple years ago as well, and she was the best dog addition to this family. We have always had dogs and cats in the home, and all are friends with each other and they each have unique personalities! We have a dog park nearby as well! The oldest cat I have had was a tabby named Chica, and got her at 8 weeks old when I was 16, and she was 15 when she passed!!! Our pets are our fur family and we love them all!!! Kids are all grown up now, and my Husband is gone a lot as a Fire Captain, so I am more than willing and available to housesit dogs and/or cats in your home. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades! We don’t dog board due to having too many household members and pets already, but in your home they are taken care of exactly how they should be. With compassion and love.

About: Hello! I’ve been loving and caring for local pets for around 25 yrs. Some pets were young pups and kittens; some were older seniors. I specialize in petsitting at my clients homes. My longest pet sitting job was 3.5 weeks while the owners were in Italy. I have many referrals. I’ve taken care of miniature horses, Friesian horses, and a pig. (We have a lot of rural homes in Auburn area). I’m retired from a construction accounting job. We’re gladly at home most days! My shedule is flexible; if you have an emergency need for pet sitting, I’m your gal. I prefer to petsit at my client’s homes. The animals rather appreciate this. I like to meet the animal(s) before sitting so when I arrive, we have a connection. I give the animals plenty of one-on-one attention. This may include doggy massage to calm them and get to know them. Lots of walks if they like that. Potty Breaks every couple of hours to begin with, as they’re sometimes nervous or have stomach upsets. I’d like to know your favorite names for them, what your routines are, rituals, their favorite things to do. I’ve also stayed with animals after their surgeries to monitor when the owner has to work.

About: In addition to caring for my own pets including two small dogs and one cat, I’ve also cared for & watched pets for friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I’ve watched them in my house, or popped in for feedings, potty breaks, walk, and attention/play time. I work from home full time, so I’m able to have your pets hang out with me, or drop in for feedings, potty breaks, walks and attention/play time to keep your fur babies happy while you’re gone. I have a double fenced yard for potty breaks, and have two dogs (cocker spaniel & small mixed Havanese/Shitsu - both female) and a yellow tabby to keep your fur baby company. If your doggie doesn’t like/do well with cats, we have plenty of space to keep them separated- just let me know in advance. Living in the mountains, we rarely let our dogs out unattended and would extend the same precaution to your animals (unless they prefer being outside). I’m also able to take them for walks to keep them happy & exercised while you’re gone.

About: I grew up with two big German Shepherd huskies and now I have a lab and German Shepherd Husky, and Catahula/B Collie I’ve watched pit bulls as well. Some experience with horses and live stock. Work remote in Cool and have very flexible availability, I can take very short notice jobs and I'm only out of town a few days a month I am someone who runs daily so long dog walks will be fun for me. I can also take dogs to parks if that is desired.

About: Ive been taking care of dogs for over 10 years. I love going on walks and just hanging out with them. I also enjoy giving dogs baths! My schedule is pretty flexible! I am usually free on weekends. I do not take spontaneous trips. All my trips are planned in advance so I can work things around it. I will follow the rules of your house when I am there. If you say "No dogs on the furniture.", then I will make sure no dogs on the furniture. I will adhere to any strict routine you have in place for feeding or walking. I will also send daily pictures of all animals while I care for them.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I could remember. I have had dogs my whole life who I feed, water and walk! Along with taking care of friends, family and neighbors furry friends too! I’m currently not working so I have plenty of time to spend with your animals! Im very flexible with your needs/wants! In additional i make time to feed, water, walk and play with my puppies as well! I have a big fenced yard at home! When i’m taking care of other fur babies I make sure they eat their food and drink their water! I also play with them each time I go over and spend a minimum of an hour to make sure they are happy! I love meeting new furry friends!

About: Our family of two is pet-friendly. Dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals were guests in our house—all the way from small puppies to giant heavy mastiffs. Safe house for your pets. No neighbor dogs, only squirrels. The yard is protected around with fences and trees. My husband is a military medic trained to help dogs if needed. Can take care of oral medication, IV, pills. My husband is at home 99% since he is in Air Force Online Program right now, and I am at home most of the time. Our family very flexible on the weekends with the schedule and always happy to help other with their trips and dog stays. We have a fenced yard and have only one puppy, a lot of space inside and outside. My husband and I are very active and happy to take care of our little friends.

About: I have taken care of dogs on my own since I got my dog Mr. Buddy who is an Australian Shepard. I raised him from a puppy when I got him in Alaska when I was in the air force. I also watch my sister's dogs all the time, and I've decided to turn my love of dogs into a profession. I've learned a lot about dogs from great people like ceaser milon and the dog father, and many great people I've met along the way on my travels in the military. Your dogs will be well taken care of under my care. I have decided to do this as a full time gig. I want to be my own boss and work better with animals then I do people lol. I have delt with dogs of every age from my grandparents older German Shepard of 14 years old to my dog Mr. Buddy as a young 12 week old pup. I can assure that I will adhere to any safety practices that you want for your fur baby. I also have my 4 year old Aussie, Mr. Buddy, that does great with other dogs and socializing them. I've seen him help mentally troubled dogs many times. Off course I will not bring him if the client doesn't want him there. But once again I care assure that any dog will be safe under my care.

About: Hello there! My name is Stephanie and I am originally from the Florida panhandle. I have always had many pets my whole life and love and adore animals of all shapes and sizes! Pets can definitely require allot of time and patience and luckily I have both. My very first job was working at a dog day care facility in Tallahassee and it was absolutely amazing. Your animals will get the best and most loving care in the world from me. I am a very punctual and hard-working individual so no matter the size of your pet I am prepared to give them the best care and hopefully a new friend in the long run. I have experience with mini pigs and lizards as well and am open to any pet care encounter :) I have 5 dogs of my own and live on 3 acres in Garden Valley. My job is very flexible and I am looking to do pet sitting full time. I can take whatever days and times I need to care for your babies :) My husband and I live on 3 acres that is partially fenced. We have a large dog run with an automatic waterer and a camera to keep watch at anytime. Also plenty of leashes and harnesses for long walks. In my clients home I cater to all the pets needs equally and ensure plenty of love and potty breaks while also maintaining the cleanliness of the owners home.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 5. I have a degree in animal science, specializing in horses. I have a one year old Labrador named Kilala who I already take on walks. Let me add your pet to our adventures. I just started a new job. I work Monday-Friday half days. Usually unavailable on weekends unless I have plenty of notice. If the request if for house sitting your dog needs to get along with mine I want to take your dog on walks/hikes. I already have my own dog so she needs to come with me if I am house sitting and ideally she would join in on all walks. Please no pets that are aggressive towards other dogs or people.
