About: As a cattle dog owner, I'd like to think I have a special set of skills for crazy babies. I have always had rescues and fosters in my home. I have been fortunate to work with foster pets from the Caribbean and Mexico as well, each of these often came with health issues. I have experience with pregnant dogs and cats as well! If you are interested in having your pet stay over, know I have two very friendly dogs. They have both experienced having guests and foster pets in the house as well. Tolerant and obedient. I have multiple rooms and baby gates for separation and quiet time. In general, I am a very active and outdoorsy person! So i am happy to take the pets out to the trails or the lake! I live on 10 quiet acres with a fenced yard. There is ample space to play outside or be kept safe and warm inside. I am fortunate to work from home. I have the ability to provide care all day and night for your pet! I walk each morning and evening and have the option to take your pet out for a walk or a play on the property in both fenced and unfenced areas. I have an older dog who is very arthritic so I am used to caring for the elderly animals as well. Pets in my home have their own room if needed. I have plenty of space for crates. I have a large gated deck and live on 10 acres on a quiet road. My own pets walk daily with me along my road which works well for easy elder dog walks as it is shady even in the summer. It also can provide great training ground as there is little traffic. For the high energy babies, we can play fetch or take to the trails nearby. I have always had rescue pitties so I am comfortable with big cuddly babies. I adopted a cattle dog pup who had clinical anxiety which has taught me how to care for highly intelligent, high energy dogs as well. Treats, love, and confidence makes for a happy dog!

About: I grew up on a large family farm with all kinds of animals. We recently had two senior Shih Tzu's that each had their own special needs. After the loss, we are ready to open our home to new pups! We love all dogs and animals of all kinds. Our property is a large 3 acres. Our large backyard is fenced. We enjoy hiking and long walks. My husband works from home so there's someone always here for potty breaks, snuggles and treats. We do have one friendly, easygoing cat. Your dog must be comfortable around cats. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am very aware of my environment to keep the dog safe from others and feel a private area is best for dogs while under my care. About: I have taken care of dogs on my own since I got my dog Mr. Buddy who is an Australian Shepard. I raised him from a puppy when I got him in Alaska when I was in the air force. I also watch my sister's dogs all the time, and I've decided to turn my love of dogs into a profession. I've learned a lot about dogs from great people like ceaser milon and the dog father, and many great people I've met along the way on my travels in the military. I have 3 years of fish keeping experience. I currently have my own cat (he’s orange!) and I am fostering a mother and her kitten for the time being. I am willing to help clean around the house as well! I have indoor/outdoor plants and I can take care of your plants while you are away - I have a green thumb :) I’ve helped friends and clients with farm animals, including feeding and cleaning their spaces. If directed I can help with other farm projects. I am looking to take on as many hours as possible! I am currently in college, but only have classes Monday and Wednesday and can work around my school schedule. I am unable to bring pets home due to having my own cat and living in an apartment with a single pet deposit! But I am just fine coming to you! I offer dog walking, some behavioral training while pet sitting/walking, in home pet sitting, and I can do small cleaning projects for a minimal extra charge. I am gentle with the animals and can do grooming such as brushing and can try nail clipping if your pets allow it!

If your pup is used to sleeping on a dog bed, or on the couch, or with people, they can do the same here with us. We won’t change the rules on them. We are well-versed in taking care of dogs with special needs or just simply providing TLC. When we have had fosters, we helped pups recover from surgery, given medications, adjusted pups to family life, trained and more. We just lost our sweet pup Cooper so we don’t have any pets at our house. This might be helpful if you have a dog that likes people all to themselves or if you have multiple dogs. Walks, car ride (wind in their hair) treats, playtime, attention, lounging in the fenced yard are all available. We both work at home so pups don’t have to be alone and can have all of their needs met. Reach out and tell us about your furry family and what they might need while you’re away. You can read our references but it might be best to come to the house to meet us and see for yourself. It’s important to feel comfortable so you can relax while you are away. We take extra measures to lock the latch on the gate and use a double door system if we go in and out of the house.

We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff.
