Inspired by the importance of animal welfare, I would complete an eight-week internship at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, where I gained valuable skills in veterinary pre- and post-op care. About: I’ve had every pet you can possibly imagine and I’ve taken care of them with all my love and knowledge! As a kid I wasn’t allowed to have cats or dogs as we lived in a small apartment. So I had hermit crabs, hamsters, turtles and fishes. At age 15 I got my first cat and now I’m a proud cat owner of 5! 2 of them live with me and the other 3 stayed with my mom when I moved out 2 years ago. But I still make time to visit them often. I also have a 1 year old puppy who I love very much. I also had a Veiled Chameleon who I had for almost 4 years. She past away last April but she lived her full life expectancy and had an enriching life. Im able to give oral medications, potty breaks, walks, play time, and cuddles. I work a 4/10/40 scheduled which is 10 hour days, 4 days a week, 40 hours total. I work 3 days in the office and 1 day from home and I am off Friday through Sunday. I have 2 loving fixed inside females cats and a 1 year old crate trained puppy who is also fixed. They are very loving of other animals and mostly just curious. They are all vaccinated as well.

Patty was amazing! I reached out to her just over a week before my trip and she was very quick to respond. We scheduled an in-person meet and greet and she was on board to take care of my cat. During the 11 days of my booking, Patty was either always on time or early, sent me tons of pictures of my cat, changed his litter, and made sure the food/water levels weren’t running too low. Very responsive if I had any questions/concerns. I’ve used other cat sitters before but my cat has never warmed up to anyone as easily as he did with Patty.
