About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the age 5 when I was gifted my first pup. I love my dogs as if they were my children. I have 10yr old 80lb boxer mix and a 9mo poodle. I’m currently in school to be a certified life coach. My husband owns a cleaning business and I help him from time to time. I would like to fill in my days getting outside and caring for your fur babies. I can care for your dog at home as instructed. I also have a medium poodle that is fully vaccinated and in great health that I can bring along to play with your pup.

About: I’ve had a dog all my life, have pet sit for many dogs, cats, and even a rabbit! I love animals and have knowledge about all sorts of pets. I am a student at Butler University and have just a couple classes with a lot of extra time each week. At home I have a dog and my sorority house also has a dog. Making sure pets are comfortable and safe is my number 1 priority. I even did my Girl Scout Gold Award project about keeping dogs from getting scared and running away and how to find them if it happens.

About: I’ve had two dogs in my lifetime each for 12 years and I’ve always loved to be around them and to make sure they were safe and felt happy. I treat each pet like family. My reliability, calm demeanor and love for animals make both pets and their owners feel at ease. I will walk the dog everyday and I can board dogs every weekend. I have experience taking care of a French bulldog named Randy. Sometimes I go there to take care of him and other times I bring him to my apartment. I have space in our apartment for the dog to roam around and I live in a safe dog friendly neighborhood in which we can take the dog for long walks near a park and a pond.

About: my name is Amber! At a very young age I’ve been passionate about animals and always looking into what I could do to help them. I’m outgoing & high energy so I have no problem keeping up with higher energy dogs or even just cuddling on a couch catching some quality cuddle time!! I am a full time student working towards my degree completely online. I have a flexible schedule and I currently available in the new coming year! While I am home I am the sole provider for my pets. They are fed multiple times a day and always provided with fresh water. As for my dog Jupiter he is taken on multiple walks as well as having access to our fenced in yard.

About: Since the age of 7 years old I have always had a dog around my families home. Along with my family pet, I have experience taking care of dogs that range in age and size. I have experience with 6 month old puppies that need a lot of attention through 14 year old dogs that need medication given to them. Over the years, I have taken care of pets for my friends and family ranging from a day, a weekend, to a whole week. Having a dog of my own, I understand the difficulties of finding the right sitter as well as the importance of finding the right one. I am currently a Graduate student at the University of Rhode Island. For the summer, I am taking online asynchronous classes. Since my classes are asynchronous I am able to work my school schedule around my pet sitting schedule. With that being said, I still need a couple hours each day to devote to my school work. When it comes to someone else's home, I follow all the directions that are given to me. I am very versatile depending on the needs of the pet and owner. When it comes to walks, I always walk dogs with their leash and preferably a harness for long walks (but if they don't have one that is okay as well). If I bring the dog to my own home, I have a deck with a gate and a big backyard for playing.

I have a 11 year old pit bull which gives me experience with caring for a senior dog but understanding the slower pace, possible joint pain, or health issues that may require extra care. Being observant of subtle signs of discomfort, such as limping & notifying the owner if needed. Knowledge of how to administration oral medications & liquids. With such a flexible schedule I’m able to be available any day & anytime My two dogs are fenced it at home where they have a nice big yard to exercise & run around. I also take them on frequent walks especially the senior dog to be able to be more mobile on his legs.

About: I've been around all sorts of animals since I was a child, firstly with pet birds of my own, then volunteering at a farm for a number of years. Most recently, my experience as a veterinary assistant and being in school for a veterinary technician degree also gives me much knowledge in care for all sorts of animals, especially dogs and cats! I'm currently working at a veterinary hospital and have a few days where I can take time to fit pets that need attention into my schedule. Since my schedule changes regularly, my availability may change weekly, but usually does not impede on any pet that needs my attention. I have a variety of cages, leashes, harnesses, and toys for all size dogs if it is not available to the owner. Another benefit I can offer is the fact that since I also work at an animal hospital, if in the event where a pet needs attention while their owner’s are away, I have the access and contacts to help with any needs of that pet as soon as possible, with the permission of the owners.

About: I love all animals and will take excellent care of your pet. I have 15+ years of professional experience, and a lifetime of experience with my own variety of pets. I’ve worked at Hi Tor Animal Shelter taking care of animals and helping with adoptions, as a veterinary assistant at VEG in Nanuet for a year, and All Creatures in Pomona as a CSR and assistant. I’m currently at the new Nyack Neighborhood Veterinary in Nyack. I’m also in school for animal nursing to become a licensed veterinary technician (LVT). I love to give all animals and pets compassionate, nurturing, and professional care and companionship. My available services include meals, bathroom breaks, walks, play-time, socialization, and also some medical attention as needed like vet visits, meds (oral, topical, ear/eye drops, injection), and grooming (baths, claws, etc). I also have some experience with training and can assist with managing certain behavioral issues. I'm able to handle any type of dog, any age, any size, most temperaments, and I can manage special-needs pets. Cats are also among my areas of expertise. I work with other animals as well, including reptiles (especially snakes), hamsters, birds, etc. I’m currently working part time as a veterinary assistant at Nyack Neighborhood Veterinary, and my schedule is flexible for other pet care needs. I have availability during some days, evenings, and weekends. *PLEASE READ RE: OVERNIGHT HOUSE SITTING: Rover does not currently allow users to specify available time frames for house sitting stays, so while I do have availability for some overnight pet/house sitting, it will usually be limited to a short duration, like 3-4 nights at a time, with the possibility for occasional exceptions (TBD). The open days that I have posted on my calendar are days that I can be available in general, and I’ll try to work something out to meet your needs if possible. I’ve posted a 1-day cancellation policy, but I would prefer 48 hours notice of cancellation for a commitment so that I have an opportunity to reallocate that time. The main thing is clear communication in advance so that dates, details, and expectations can all be sorted out. I always respect the personal space and privacy of homes where I’m watching pets. My goal is to stick to routines as much as possible, and to keep your pet feeling happy and healthy and loved.

About: I’ve had dogs for 20+ years and have been puppy raising for the Seeing Eye for 6 years! I now have 2 dogs and 1 cat and can also help you with your animals! I’m currently available for most of the summer! I also have very flexible hours during the fall and winter. I am available on the weekends too. I have a fenced in 1 acre yard. I have a nice loop around my neighbor for walks. I have two well-trained dogs that are also therapy dogs. We can all have fun and your dog will leave tired.

About: I carry great love for my furry friends. I have been able to work with family friends on giving great care for their little ones With being a college student, I have more flexibility in my schedule and can manage my time with your pets! I have no job at this time but I hope to make pet sitting a full time job. I would begin by securing a steady transition with plenty of familiar items like their favorite toys, bed, and any specific food or treats they enjoy. I will keep up with their day to day routine to make sure they feel comfortable, including regular feeding times, walks, and play time. I’d also make sure to keep a safe environment. I will do reugular updates with photos and messages so they’re always in the loop about how your pet is doing. I will mak sure they feel comfortable and happy until you return.

About: I have great memories of my own childhood poodle. I love spending time with my two grand pups. One is a yorki and the other is a rescue from the Caribbean. Can’t wait to meet your sweet pup! I have a very flexible schedule and am usually free from 9-5. Available for long walks and evening strolls with your pet! I only can care for dogs under 25lbs I love playing fetch with the dogs inside. At my home we have lots of dog toys, but the backyard is not gated. So mostly indoor play is preferred, unless you have a gated backyard.
