“Last week we tried half day care at Mike’s home for the first time. My 1 year old puppy had a good time with him, his poms and his girlfriend’s dog. He has a nice fenced backyard where dogs can run and play. He remembered the notes I said about my puppy and made sure to follow it. He was also thoughtful and cleaned my puppy’s paws when they got dirty from the yard playing, he even combed him without me telling it. My puppy’s fur was soft and he smelled nice when I picked him up. Mike’s rates are reasonable too. My puppy loves other dogs and people so I will be sending him again to Mike’s home. You can also send their favorite treats, and a favorite toy. If they tend to pull on the leash, a front-latch harness, rubber-tipped prong collar, or gentle leader is appreciated. Bowls, beds, brushes, litter bags etc. are all unnecessary, as I have extras of all these supplies. For puppies, a crate may be necessary, depending on their level of potty training. For Cats: The cats have a comfy lounge downstairs, with food, water, litter boxes, and scratching posts. The dogs are not allowed downstairs, so the cats can get all the space they need from the dogs. The cats are free to move upstairs and downstairs as they prefer. All cats are indoors only. I have a lot of wide, accessible windowsills that they love chilling on to watch birds and squirrels outside, as well as battery-operated and automated toys that they can chase and play with on their own. What you’ll need to send: their regular food (wet and dry) and treats. Cat litter is also appreciated. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home most of the day. I have a spacious home that can accommodate giving multiple animals space, and I can keep animals separated from each other if necessary. About: I personally own two labradoodles myself. I have volunteered at multiple rescues, been a dog walker, trainer, and provided home sitting. This job needs attention to detail and care and that is exactly what I provide. Safety is priority. All animals that come under my care are brought out in a fenced yard or on a leash. Belly rubs, cuddles, and scratches are second priority! I am happy to send videos from walks together. Very dependable and reliable. I will treat your pet as if it were my own! I am available for mornings, afternoons, and evenings 7 days a week! I need at least three days notice so I can schedule this in. I have a fenced yard. Even with a fenced in yard I will keep your dog on a leash unless told otherwise. I will check dogs for tics.
About: Myself and my family are dog lovers. We loved all of our dogs Kelly, Snowball, Shadow, Maggie and Honey. We no longer have any pets but myself, my husband, and 2 children ( a girl 24 years old & boy 21 years old) would love to love and take care of your dog(s). We have lots of space for your pet to run around and have lots of attention and fun. I will have more than one dog at a time if it is agreed upon with both families. We love dogs of all size and breed. We love puppies and senior dogs as well. Between myself, my husband and 2 children (24 & 21 years old) someone is pretty much around most of the time, and love doing this. I have a fenced yard that they can roam free in. They are allowed anywhere they want in the house. They are allowed on furniture and beds.
About: I have always owned/ cared for pets my entire life, which makes 25 years of caring for pets. I went to SUNY Alfred State College of technology, where I received my associates degree in veterinary technology, as well as a bachelors degree in technology management Fall of 2021. I started off volunteering at animal shelters in the fall of 2016. I worked as a Kennel assistant throughout the years of 2016 to 2020. I worked as a Veterinary Assistant from 2020 to 2023. I am currently a Veterinary Technician (Emergency animal nurse) at Veterinary Emergency Group. I have animal training, grooming, and Veterinary medical experience. I work a full time job at Veterinary Emergency Group three days a week. 12 hour shifts. I can also bring pets to work with me as well. So I am available all days out of the week. I do not have a fenced in yard, but there is a hiking trail around the corner from my home where I walk my own dogs daily. Pets will never be put in a crate. (Unless you prefer for them to be crated) They are welcomed to walk around my house, on the couch, and in my bed. I feed my dogs twice a day and they get walked 3-4 times a day. Whenever I have to run errands they stay at home with pee pee pads located around the house.

Throughout Miranda’s stay, Robert communicated regularly and sent adorable photos that reassured me she was happy and well cared for. His home has a fenced outdoor area where she was able to socialize safely with other dogs, and she clearly enjoyed her time there. I would definitely leave my dog with Robert again. About: I’ve been a dog owner and dedicated dog caregiver for over 20 years, and caring for dogs has always been a huge part of my life. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, including large and strong breeds such as Akitas, German Shepherds, and other high-energy breeds. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, ages, energy levels, and needs, and I understand how important it is to make each dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re away from their family. I also volunteer with Guiding Eyes for the Blind, helping with their puppy training program. As part of the program, I have the opportunity to welcome a future guide dog puppy into my home for several days at a time and help with their training, socialization, routines, and everyday experiences. This has given me additional experience with consistency, positive reinforcement, following specific care instructions, and helping dogs build confidence in new environments. Whether your dog needs lots of playtime and exercise, some extra cuddles, structured routines, or simply a calm and loving place to relax, I’m happy to provide individualized care based on what works best for them. My goal is for every dog in my care to feel like they’re right at home! I work full-time, but my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m available for morning walks before work, evenings after 7 PM, and anytime on weekends. I’m also available for overnight care and boarding. I have years of experience caring for dogs and currently care for two dogs as part of my full-time childcare position. I’ve also had dogs of my own in the past. I live in a very pet-friendly apartment community with beautiful walking trails and plenty of places to explore. I’ll provide your dog with a safe, loving, comfortable environment, along with plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship.
