“Melissa has been a lifesaver. She comes over multiple times a week, and takes great care of my dog. Winston warmed up to her very quickly on their first meeting, and on the days when Melissa takes him out for walks, he's always happy and sleeping when I get home from work.”
2. Zara F.
“Zara does a great job with our yellow lab and guinea pigs. She is very responsible and really cares about animals. She has ambitions to become veterinary technician / doggy daycare owner, and currently works at a kennel taking care of dogs and cats.”
3. Cheryl M.
“Cheryl did an amazing job with my pup! She visited at the time we discussed, she shared the walk that she went on with my pup, and she was very responsive. I know my dog had a great time with her and I felt very comfortable leaving my baby in her hands. Highly recommend!”
4. Leah E.
About: I love to walk dogs and stop by for drop in visits to care for your pet while you’re away. I have experience fostering dogs. I used to foster dogs and volunteer in an animal shelter. It depends on the request and the week and time of year for availability. I hope to hear from you soon to discuss your dog sitting needs, I enjoy taking dogs on walks and spending time with dogs during drop in visits. I hope to see your dog and be able to get to know them.
5. Emily A.
About: I’ve owned and volunteered with a variety of animals since a very young age, started volunteering for Down by the Creek Animal Rescue when I was around 11 years old which rehabilitated and housed animals of anything you can possibly imagine. I’m currently available full time and every single day of the week! I however would prefer to not have to do any over night stays anywhere. I have collars, leashes and harness because of the fact my yard is not fenced in. I also have baby gates to section off parts of the house so everyone can stay safe!

Gracy's unwavering dedication, exceptional care, and warm-hearted approach make her an invaluable asset to any pet owner seeking peace of mind and exceptional care for their furry friend.”
7. Amara N.
“Amara is incredibly attentive and hands on when it comes to pet sitting. We have a cat who is extremely hyper active and needs special attention when it comes to his eating patterns — and Amara handled him with ease. On top of that, Amara would send us daily updates and pictures of our cat while we were on vacation and we didn’t even have to ask her to do it. She gave us so much peace of mind and we are thankful for that! 10/10 would hire Amara again. Which surprise, we already did!”
8. Yamila C.
“Yamila took care of my Flaco for a long time. She always provided him with a lot of love and played with him. She has a great affection for animals and knows very well how to handle care and walks. She is amazing! Flaco misses her.”
9. Amanda K.
“First, and foremost, my two cats love Amanda! And they're not easily pleased. Amanda feeds them, plays with them and keeps their litter boxes tidy. And this gives me security and comfort when I need to be away from home, knowing 'the girls' will be well looked after. I have found Amanda to be sweet. kind, reliable, accommodating and trustworthy. I would not hesitate to recommend her to care for anyone's pets.”
10. Stephanie M.
About: Hey there, I'm Steph. It is my pleasure to spend time with any animal. I know how stressful it can be to spend time away from your pet(s), so I hope to assure you they will be in good hands with me. Any questions, please ask! Little bit of background - I was unfortunate enough to be totally knocked on my butt in March 2020 when the pandemic was starting. In my regrouping, I got into working primarily gigs and primarily on the road, basically living out of my Jeep (RIP). I wound up traveling to every state (not Hawaii) and 6 of Canada's provinces, transporting bands, gear, and most of all, animals. I am very confident in my skills as a caregiver to animals. Looking forward to meeting & greeting w your pets. For folks looking for establishing regular care, we can discuss modified rates. For my regulars (even if it's just a few times a year), I go to Costco 2-3×/month, happy to pick up whatever a client might need - this includes pharmacy. But for example, packs of 8tx of Frontline Plus for cats and any size dog are on sale for $60 this month (October 2024). I let you know about any potentially pertinent sales I spot and their price, and I'll pick up whatever if you leave me a note & cost+$5 in cash or Venmo up front. But like, if you're low on dog food or dumplings or eggs or whatever, I'm happy to pick that kinda stuff up too as long as I'm given appropriate notice. ✌️ Dogsitting is what I do for a living. I am a writer so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I'm happy to travel up to a couple hours away for shorter term sits. Most established regulars are in Muscatine, but willing to travel up to 15ish miles away. Just ask and I can see what we can set up. I love getting to know how to greet a pet, because it tells me everything I need to know about how they're doing. If I notice any off or new behaviors, I'll take note. I usually check in at the end of my visit, unless I have a question or concern. Love having little photo shoots at some point so I can send pictures and a solid summary of your pet's time w me.

13. Shannon S.
About: I have worked with animals at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where we house dogs, cats, and even birds, bunnies, or hamsters. I worked there for two years, and I have grown up with & been around both dogs and cats my whole life. I am currently working full time M-F, however, after 5 every night I am available for any necessary pet-care as well as on the weekends. I can provide treats, toys, and love to a client’s fur baby.
