Karisa bonded with our kitties, Klondike and Sprite, better than anyone I’ve ever worked with before. Sprite, in particular, is very skittish and will hide from pet sitters, but, miraculously, she was happy to let Karisa and her children hold her during visits. Klondike likewise got tons of attention and affection, as evidenced by the many photos Karisa sent. Karisa also took care of watering my many orchids while we were away. Plus, when I forgot to suspend our shipment of frozen meals from The Farmer’s Dog while we were away, Karisa was a lifesaver! Not only did she keep an eye out for the package, but when it arrived, she brought it in out of the hot sun, unpacked it, and stored everything neatly in the freezer for us. I will most definitely be booking her again in the future.”

I truly enjoy the rewarding experience of caring for pets, and I look forward to providing your furry family member with extra special care and attention. Trust me, when I say your pet is special to me. My schedule is flexible, so I am available to drop in for a visit in the morning, before work, after work, and/or again in the evening. As a lifelong pet owner and foster mom, I am dedicated to giving every animal the special love and care they deserve, especially when their families are away. It's completely normal for your pet to feel restless during the first couple of days and evenings. This behavior can vary based on each pet's background, and I understand that it is to be expected. I will do my best to give your pet the time they need to adjust to me at their own pace, while providing plenty of love, comfort, and patience.

About: I have always grown up with animals! I have had dogs, cats, birds, turtles, lizards, rabbits, chinchillas, fish, and most likely more that I just cant remember! I love animals. I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. My one dog was adopted was from ASPCA as a 3 legged dog. This does not slow her down! She loves playing and running. My other dog was adopted from an Amish family as a puppy. She loves to play as well. Both dogs enjoy chasing after my children, playing catch, tug a war, cuddling, going for walks and lots of belly rubs. I also have a cat that loves to cuddle and be loved on. He loves chasing after toys that move and relaxing in his cat tower. I used to own at dog that sadly passed away 2 years that I owned since she was a puppy. Unfortunately she got external cancer on her leg. I had to give her medicine several times a day, wash her wound twice a day, and prepare homemade meals for her. I currently work part time for a school from 9am-230pm so I will have plenty of time before and after that and on weekends to care for your pets. I love taking pets on walks, to the dog park, or just cuddling on the couch. I can drop in to your house as much as needed.

Throughout the years I've had my heart full of animals -dogs being my speciality and of all sizes, breeds and characteristics. I am dependable, reliable and honest. And I’m easy to communicate with. I have been blessed to retire early after an extensive career in different areas, one being prior work in the pet care industry with plenty of trainings with several veterinarian clinics throughout NE Indiana. Your pet kid will be monitored 24/7 inside my home and outside of my home. As I do this with my own pet children. Throughout the years I've had my heart full of animals - dogs being my speciality of all sizes and breeds. While, also having some of the best cats in the mix of my dogs I care for them with all my background knowledge I've learned over the years of caring for and loving my dog babies. My home is always nice and tidy and so is my backyard. I keep their environment very tidy. I have a fenced in yard. My two dogs are never unsupervised during rain, snow or heat. I guess you would call me a helicopter pet parent. I do have nice kennels with bedding.
