My parents operated a quality Dachshund breeding program, giving me experience with puppy development and socialization. I've spent years pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, and I've had horses my entire life. One of my greatest privileges was caring for our beloved Labrador through her golden years, providing palliative care until she peacefully passed at 13. I understand that every pet has unique needs and deserve patience, love, and individualized care. When your pet stays with us, they won't just be watched—they'll be loved, spoiled, and welcomed as part of the family. I am a stay at home mom who loves being active. As a family we spend lots of time outside playing and enjoying what our 40 acre home has to offer. Inside pets are family members who live in the house WITH us. Couch time is always available with additional beds if the pup prefers their own space. We live away from the hectic lifestyle that most have and love it that way. We have a large area for dogs to run and play by themselves if they prefer or can spend time with our two friendly dogs who love to play even more.I offer crates if needed. Pets are more than welcome make themselves comfortable on the furniture or bed. Medications or speciality diets are no issue.

“Recently Aleisha did dog walking, check ins for over a 6 week period. She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. Upon our return, the dogs were excited but very calm and at ease – a real departure from other vacation experiences. Aleisha also spent several nights at our home house sitting. Again we found her to be a true pro and very reliable and respectful. We would have no problem using her again and would recommend her services to anyone who would ask. As a matter of fact, we will be using Aleisha for occasional walks to keep in touch with Sadie and keep their bonds intact. About: Since I was 5 years old, I have been taking care of animals. My first job was as the neighborhood dog walker. Since then, I have walked and sat countless animals. You will be at ease leaving your pet with me. I currently live with two large boxers, so pet care is part of my daily routine - from walks to feeding and play dates. About: I’ve had pet dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I’ve always loved taking care of them, and being someone that they can rely on. Caring for animals is a big part of my life and something I hope to be forever passionate about! I am working full-time for the summer. I am a college student who will be going back to part time in the fall to finish my last year. I’m mostly free in the evenings and on odd days during the week since I work a rotating schedule. The fall will look different as I’ll be working part-time while also going to school! I’ve been handling large dogs since I was a young teenager, so I’m very comfortable with all types of breeds. About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life and have been pet sitting for family, friends and anyone in need for the last three years! I have experience with both puppies between the ages of six months and two years old and senior dogs up to the age of 13. I am currently working part-time as a nanny most Thursdays through Saturdays, I am typically always available during the beginning of the week and work some half day shifts nannying so my schedule is open to changes. I always ask my clients to provide me with a strict set of rules and requirements, so that both myself, and the client feel comfortable with me being in the space.

I am currently taking online classes at the University of Maine Orono and am looking for a part-time job like this to make some money at the same time. Ever since I can remember my family and I have had 2 dogs in our house that each have problems of their own. But we love and care for them no different then we love and care for each other.

About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals since I was very young. I’ve been officially working in pet sitting for five years. Animals usually love me, and I’m willing to be as pateint as needed for the ones who are more shy and may take longer to warm up. I move at there speed. I also make sure that your house stays in the same condition you left it in. Maybe even cleaner lol. There’s no need for you to come home to a messy house after a much needed vacation.
