About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. Now that I live here in Maine, I would like to continue my expertise and passion for animals, and connect with some loveable furry friends. “We had a really great experience and Nicole took such great care of Mia. Scheduling was easy, the meet and greet went very well. We received pictures and updates of Mia several times for a one day stay. Nicole also took Mia for several walks. Mia is an indoor dog and she definitely received a good amount of outdoor exercise time and indoor down time. Nicole has a 2 year old son who also loves dogs and got along very well with Mia. Nicole and her husband are such nice couple; warm and genuine. We feel comfortable that Mia is in good hands. Mia was happy and very relaxed when we picked her up. Nicole was also really great about accommodating our schedule as we were running late on pick up. We did not have a good experience boarding Mia at a kennel and found Rover. About: I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. We have four acres of land far from the road with a big back yard and lots of woods and play space. My groomer told me there is a need for pet care and I want more pets in my life, so this is perfect for me. I work closely with pet parents to make sure your pet has everything they need to feel right at home. We are outside a lot! I love to walk in all kinds of weather and I love to play outside whenever possible. In addition, I love farm animals too! Your pets are safe in my back yard. I always go outside with the pets and will use a leash if need be. I make pets feel right at home inside our home as well. About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. About: I have been with pets my whole life! There’s always been a dog or cat or both around. When I was about 10/11 years old, I would dog sit 9 dogs! Taking them out in the yard, feeding, and treating them! I currently have downsized to just one cat, she’s a needy but sweet girl. I also have experience in care for small animals as well (rabbits, fish, snakes, etc.) id like to add that while i appreciate Rover and the connections it does create for myself and your family - it takes a good chunk of fees. i am open to all the above: most online payments (such as cashapp, venmo, etc.) as well as cash and check. neither myself or your time away from your pets should be taxed! About: I have experience with puppies, training, dogs with anxiety, geriatric dogs and more. I also have experience with complex health needs and care in dogs. I work from home as a travel agent. I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. Since I have the ability to be with the dogs all day it made sense to offer my home and a family setting. Our dog Sweety sleeps with us at night and so do our guest dogs. About: Used to be a manager for a mobile veterinary wellness clinic, have owned animals almost my whole life and currently have a giant bundle of fur chocolate lab at home. Intact 3 year old male. As well as a 4 year old boy and 4 month old boy and 2 tween girls who all love animals. DISCLAIMER- your pets MUST be well behaved enough around small children that are still learning how to safely approach animals in order for me to agree to sit them. Everyone’s safety is my number 1 priority as I have a 9 month old baby as well as other small children in the home. As I’m a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time throughout my day to implement your pets needs into our schedule. I don’t mind last minute bookings, as long as we’re free and non booked up. While we don’t have a fenced in yard, we have no issue taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood and leashes in the yard when necessary.

About: I am a big time dog lover! I work from home and am able to be here with the pets all day and take them out at least every 2 hours or as needed. I have a big house with a decent sized yard (NOT fenced). I'd love a few more companions hanging out with me and my dog, Lola! There aren't a lot of pet sitting options in this area so here I am making it an option :) Please come check me out! I work from home so i am here all day with the pets and able to tend to them as needed. i get an hour break for lunch and thats usually when i take my dog out to play/walk. She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. Upon our return, the dogs were excited but very calm and at ease – a real departure from other vacation experiences. Aleisha also spent several nights at our home house sitting. Again we found her to be a true pro and very reliable and respectful. We would have no problem using her again and would recommend her services to anyone who would ask. “We had a really great experience and Nicole took such great care of Mia. Scheduling was easy, the meet and greet went very well. We received pictures and updates of Mia several times for a one day stay. Nicole also took Mia for several walks. Mia is an indoor dog and she definitely received a good amount of outdoor exercise time and indoor down time. Nicole has a 2 year old son who also loves dogs and got along very well with Mia. We have four acres of land far from the road with a big back yard and lots of woods and play space. About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).
