About: Your pet's health and happiness is my priority and I will follow instructions to the smallest detail. I absolutely adore all animals! I've grown up with dogs and cats, and have spent at least 3 years pet sitting. I currently own two crazy senior cats who I'm obsessed with. In the recent past I had two sweet and mellow rescue pups. Throughout my childhood I took it upon myself to take care of the family pets. Looking after animals comes naturally to me and you can count on me to be that person at a party who spends more time with the cat than the people. I am available most days and times and am able to be pretty flexible. Weekends can get a little busy but I can fit a visit or two in if needed. Every day I pay attention to the animal's health and mood. I'm quick to notice if something is amiss and take care of it right away while communicating closely with the owner.

About: I have worked in the veterinary field for about 3 years. I went to school and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant. I am also Pet CPR Certifed. I have my own pet/house sitting business and offer feline grooming! I work full time but am able to pet sit every night, on weekends and do checks on pets during the day, sometimes multiple times a day. Your pets will get lots of play time, go on walks, and get lots of attention. I do like to relax with them and just hang out as well, depending on the pet.

About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

“Recently Aleisha did dog walking, check ins for over a 6 week period. She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. Upon our return, the dogs were excited but very calm and at ease – a real departure from other vacation experiences. Aleisha also spent several nights at our home house sitting. Again we found her to be a true pro and very reliable and respectful. We would have no problem using her again and would recommend her services to anyone who would ask. As a matter of fact, we will be using Aleisha for occasional walks to keep in touch with Sadie and keep their bonds intact. Just such a pleasure to have someone as reliable and trustworthy for both us and our pets.”

About: I've had two dogs my whole life and I've been expected to feed them since I was 10. My family has trusted me to take care of their pets while they were away and for a little, over a year, I've been taking care of a neighbor's elder greyhound, including walking, feeding, letting it out, and picking up after it. I'm currently a sophomore at my college which is in Aurora, NY, which means I'm strictly able to do dog walking and house sitting during the summer months or breaks from school when I'm visiting my parents in Maine. During the summer, I'd prefer to walk in the morning before it gets hot, but I can walk in the afternoon if that works better for people. I'm able to do dog walking and house sitting, but I can't have other animals at my house because my dogs tend me reactive toward other animals and people, especially other dogs that are on their property. I'm very willing to walk dogs, big or small, near a client's home or at a place nearby. I'm willing to drive if the dog has a typical walking route. I'm very flexible, especially if it makes the dog more comfortable. I've also walked and grown up around Berenese Mountain Dogs, so I know how to handle every dog breed, since I've grown up with dogs as small as Boston Terriers and as big as Great Danes and St. Bernards.

About: I work year-round at a summer camp, and I love to take care of animals on the side. I can come to your home and look after your dog where they might be more comfortable. I have a cat at home, but I am missing my time living with dogs, so I thought that this would be the perfect compromise! I am also available to take care of any cats or other small animals that you may have at your home. When camp is not in session, I work remotely. That means I can work wherever there is wifi! More time to spend with your fur babies. I can do whatever works best for both of our schedules. I love having dogs (and cats!) come to my house, but sometimes I think it's easier for them to stay in the environment where they are the most comfortable. I am willing to accommodate what you think is best for your pet.

About: I know dogs need exercise, discipline, and affection. I know it can be challenging to find the right pet care that is trustworthy and reliable. I’ll do my best to give your pet the care they need! I am a massage therapist for part of the week and I homeschool my children when I’m not working. My schedule is somewhat flexible and I have extra time to fill here and there with pet care. I will feed, walk, or give your animals attention based on clients request and animals requirements. Whether it’s In the yard, taking them for a walk or just sitting petting them, I’ll give them what they need.

About: I have dog sat for 2 families, cat sat for two families, reptile sat, and generally animal sat for a few families. Animals are my happy place. I strive for the animals I take care of to be entertained, fed, walked, and most importantly loved. I am currently working part-time over the summer, while looking for an English teaching position (high school preferably). I have graduated college from the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelors in Education. I find I am passionate about the things I strive to achieve and work for. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 15 mostly for my moms coworkers and family members who were going on trips. I would stay overnight for them and watch over their pets. I've fed, watched, bathed, and walked their pets for a day or overnight at times as well. I'm currently working part time but only work on Tuesdays from 3:30-5 as of right now. My classes end relatively early but also start later depending on the day so early/mid-day/evening walks/visits are very flexible with my classes and work schedule. I need another source of income and LOVE dogs :) I will give your pet 100% of my attention the entire time I am at your home. I will take them on walks if you request me to and I will play with them until they fall asleep. I will give your dog as much love and care as I would give my own.

About: Since I was 5 years old, I have been taking care of animals. My first job was as the neighborhood dog walker. Since then, I have walked and sat countless animals. You will be at ease leaving your pet with me. I currently live with two large boxers, so pet care is part of my daily routine - from walks to feeding and play dates. I am available regularly for walks and pet sitting. Each animal has a unique set of wants and needs / my 9 year old boxer has lymphoma and needs more frequent pee and water breaks.
