About: I’ve been around dogs ever since I was 5 years old. When my family got our first puppy, I helped train her general skills like sit, stay, heel, etc. Growing up it was also a responsibility of mine to walk, feed, bathe, and play with her. Summer 2022 I was a vet tech at a humane society in my hometown, and delivered medical care to the dogs and cats there. May 2024 I helped my friend deliver 10 beautiful German Shepherd puppies! I love dogs of all kinds and can promise the best care for yours! I am a college student at Texas A&M. While I do have class every morning, I have time to go feed and hang out with a pet in the morning, check in and play midday, and again feed and hang out with them in the evening. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure that when taking them outside, they are in a fenced in area. If there is no fenced in area, I will have the pet on a leash. Every time I go check on the pet, the pet has fresh water and is fed when instructed. I also make sure to spend time with the pet so it doesn’t feel lonely, whether that is playing with a toy, going on a walk, or just giving the pet some ear scratches! I know that pets can miss their owners so I want to make them as comfortable and happy as possible.

About: In high school I got to volunteer for the local animal shelters and rescues in my area where I got to care for and find forever homes for all the dogs/cats that came into the shelters. While rescuing I got the amazing opportunity to work as a vet tech/kennel attendant for Dowlen Road Vet where my love and knowledge for animals continued to grow. I am currently working a full time job where I work 6 days/nights and have 3 days off where I am available all day. With a little notice I am available to do some early mornings or late afternoon drop ins, walks, or anything your fur baby needs! When watching at your house I will do supervised playtime outside (If fenced) or bring your pet for a walk if you don’t have a fence or it is preferred. I will do anything you request to ensure the perfect care for your baby! I always LOVE when people leave me a detailed note of anything I need to know such as specific feeding times, medications, any requests you have, etc. I will also send you lots of updates, pictures and videos of your baby!

I’m able to bottle feed or do any all-day care only on weekends. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies! I’m available for any sort of care on the weekdays afternoon-night and available all day on the weekends even for boarding! I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your babies company if they would like! I can easily crate if needed, feed any time of the day, and let out/walk as often as needed.

I can also provide medication if needed, and can easily crate your dog if needed. I also have experience with some basic training, so if that’s also a need, I’m happy to add that as part of the care routine! Cute and high-quality photos will always be provided of your pets!

Our daughter decided to join us just a few days before the trip and we were worried because our usual sitter was already booked. We were very grateful that Sherry was available and accepted our assignment with short notice. As soon as Sherry got there and was greeted at the door, it was apparent that Abby had maneuvered around the "barricade" my husband had created to keep her in a small area of our home. In doing this, she was cut off from her food and water. Sherry immediately called to alert us and the rest of the weekend went off without a hitch. Sherry was very prompt and consistent on keeping with Abby's schedule 3x a day and kept us updated with pictures as well.
