“Hesitant to try this app but we were in a pinch and needed someone to feed and let our dog out last minute and we had the privilege of working with Bailey! She will be our go to in the future for watching our dog. She went above and beyond and really put us at ease. Thank you so much!”

“Kaylah is amazing. She’s reliable, communicative and Nooni loves her. We’ve been blessed time and time again for Ms Kaylah to be available and willing to care for and walk Nooni when we are out of town.”

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by all kinds of animals. I learned at a young age how to care for them. I feel animals have a sense of intuition about people, and they have always naturally gravitated to me. I am very patient, caring, and love playing and cuddling with fur babies. You can be assured that your baby will get their fair share of chase or tug of war and lots of cuddle time. I am returning to work outside of my home, so I am only going to be available on weekends and school holidays, as well as summer. I have a medium size fenced yard to play in, with plenty of space to run around and play fetch. We will go out several times a day to play and take potty breaks as needed. We can also go for walks around the neighborhood and the neighboring park. Your pet would have the whole house also to play in.
“She is my number one dog sitter I can depend on! I love how she takes care of my babies and updates me on how they are doing. When I get home the house is always kept well clean as it was, especially with my messy dogs 🐶 🐶”

“Very communicative about stay. As it was Ivy's first time with Sam, Sam took her time to answer all of the questions I had about her care, and made sure to ask about any of Ivy's preferences and mine. Looking for someone to help crate and potty train Ivy, as I work long hours during the day and Ivy has just been rescued. Sam was very patient and open to include training into Ivy's schedule. Ivy's very excited to see Sam again!”

Anything I could do to help friends, family and neighbors with their FurBabies. I'm very proud to mention that Animal Care is my full time job! My fiancé/partner, Brian is retired and watches FurBabies full time with me. Brian also has 20 plus years experience with FurBabies. He is absolutely wonderful with all breeds and has seven years German Passive Schutzhund (IGP) training as a previous business. We are fully competent and will not crate (unless absolutely necessary or requested) To previous clients - Our sweet fur baby boy, Jobee sadly passed away from old age in late November 2025. He was a joy to us and all dogs that we have boarded, we miss him dearly and would love to have your fur babies in his place. We have an extremely flexible schedule and reliable transportation. We are responsible, caring, organized, relaxed, energetic and friendly hosts. We adore Furbabies and care immensely for their comfort and happiness. We open our home to your Furbabies and treat them as our own family. Our entire three bedroom house is open and set for multi dog sitting (except bathrooms and storage room) Rest assured, our eyes are on your fur babies at all times. We also have an outstanding, trustworthy, emergency veterinarian. Pet care is our daily routine. We have a very open and flexible schedule. Extremely superb at keeping schedule organized so your fur baby is with at least one of us, watched, loved and played with. Only unavailable for personal or unforeseen events. We have a wooden fenced large backyard, no hazards with bricks flush under fence line so no digging out can occur, preventing FurBaby escape. We bleach clean surfaces, spray back yard, bleach wash linens to stop viral and bacterial threats to keep your Furbabies in a safe, sterile and clean environment. Whether outside or inside, Furbabies are always watched. We have a roomy home with two dog rooms and use open living/dining room as common play area with furniture and full sized mattress. We also provide extra play toys, games, leashes, safe treats, natural shampoos for relaxing baths we provide if requested or needed. Everything your fur baby needs to feel comfortable and right at home. You are always welcome to tour our home! Brian and I lead a healthy, smoke free, and alcohol free lifestyle. You can rest easy knowing that your pet is in a safe, composed and consistent environment with us. Anything like special diets, medicine, recent sickness (it is important we know this so we can monitor health) or other needs you feel we should know about your FurBabies, please tell us and we will happily oblige. Projecting love, companionship, attention, ensuring the well-being, happiness and keeping a calm mental state environment to keep your FurBabies at ease is paramount to us. We also prefer to send photos and updates throughout your day so you have more peace of mind.
About: I have taken care of many different animals from cats to cow. I am certified by Texas A&M Corpus Christi. I have knowledge of various different animals, of all ages. So if you have a day old puppy/kitten or a senior animal I am very familiar and comfortable handling both! I have also worked at the Pet resort on main (PROM), so I have experience lodging, feeding, cleaning, walking, and handling your pets (even the aggressive ones). My goal is to have the animals best interests in every situation, and to make you feel comfortable leaving without you having to worry about your family (pet)! I am a full-time Texas A&M Victoria student, but any chance i get to spend with animals, and their different personalities, I will take any day of the week! I will make sure that your animal is very comfortable. Whether that means playing with them for 2 hours, feeding them every 5 minutes, giving them medicine, or helping them go to sleep. I will even take them to the vet. If that's what you require me to do. An animal's health/happens is my biggest priority.
About: From Shih-Tzu’s to Pitbulls (or even Great Dane’s), I have great experience with walking, bathing, and playing with dogs of any size! If you have an animal that isn’t a dog or cat, let me know—I am more than willing to take care of any animal. While your pet is here, they are allowed to be on the couch and bed if they are washed/clean. Doggy Day Care Day care is available from 7am-6pm. I will be home the entire 13 hours, however, if your animal has destructive habits, a fee of at least $75 will be added ONLY IF they end up destroying anything( I will try my best to keep that from happening). I have in person classes Tuesday-Thursday (if you need a more detailed schedule for this just ask!) I have 2 cats—if your animal does not get along with cats, I can separate the animals safely which allows both you and I to not worry about any altercations! Animals will not be crated in my apartment, however, if I have to run an errand and if they are destructive when left alone, they will be crated (please provide a crate).
About: I've owned many different kinds of dogs over the years. I am currently dogless and would love the company without the commitment of owning one. I work from home full time and have all the time in the world to spoil your fur baby. Ample space to run and play, safe fenced yard and farm atmosphere. I work remotely from home and can take frequent breaks to walk, play with and care for dogs. Lots of love to share and plenty of room to play! We offer a safe fenced yard for outdoor play and potty time with lots of drinking water. For boarding, we have crates for sleeping with comfy beds.
“Best Rover experience to date. Brittany did a terrific job watching our dogs this past weekend while we were away. We regularly received updates and pictures of the dogs playing and going for walks each day. We never had to worry while we were enjoying our vacation, and I know the dogs felt very comfortable as well. I highly recommend Brittany and will definitely be a repeat customer.”

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
