About: My name is Grace, i’m currently in college at Itawamba majoring in Pre-Vet studies. I will continue my degree at Mississippi State. I am currently doing community service at a shelter in Tupelo. I have a full blooded pit bull, he’s about 5 years old and happiest he’s ever been! About: Not only do I have a strong love and passion for all animals, but I also have experience working with dogs of all kinds! I was employed with The Humane Society of Memphis and had the role of Canine Care Manager, which taught me a lot about animal behavior and care. I’m willing to take on a challenge and do it with a smile on my face! I currently have full weekday availability to give your fur babies all the playtime they could want or need! I help care for my stepdaughter once she’s out of school, so morning and early afternoon works best for my schedule. I’m willing to take and follow any instructions a client gives me on caring for their fur baby in their home, or going on walks! I typically use a slip lead leash for walks and if your doggy pulls, I can harness them with the slip lead leash to make sure the walk is comfortable for them. If you have a specific leash you’d like me to use I’m more than happy to!

One or both of them would visit for a half hour, taking care of litter boxes, food, and water, feeding the fish, and pulling in any mail or packages for me. About: I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I have a dog who turns 8 this year, which I take full responsibility, that includes: vet visits, grooming, and activities. I also have trained her to do cool tricks! I've taken care of my sister's 2 dogs as well while she was on vacation. I have a lot of experience with small animals too! I have the whole summer off from college, and I am recovering from my illness, so I believe that taking care of a pet will fit into my schedule without interrupting doctor visits. It also is not as straining as a retail job. I will make sure to check for areas that could cause harm to an animal and provide a solution to the problem to ensure safety. I am also schedule sensitive, so I make sure that animals get fed on time.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and many different animals since I was a child! I had many pets ranging from birds, frogs, iguanas, hermit crabs, ferrets, cats, and dogs. I have always been an animal lover! I unfortunately do not get to have a pet of my own due to my husband being in the Air Force. Which means we move around a lot. This has been really hard for me considering the fact that my whole life I’ve been acclimated to caring for and loving pets. Being able to care for your pet while we are stationed here in the Memphis area would fulfill my dreams of being able to take care of animals. I’m currently a stay at home mom and disabled veteran. As long as my kids are at school (7 AM-2 PM) I am 100% available! Outside of those hours I could pet sit for you at my home! I can accommodate depending on your preferences for your fur baby and depending if they are potty trained. I have a 2800 sq ft home. And a huge back yard for your fur baby to play in.

About: Growing up, my family wasn't what you would consider "animal lovers", but we always had at least one pet dog around who we'd love unconditionally. I consider them my fur siblings and always helped with their care. In my early 20s I rescued a couple cats, which is funny considering I was terrified of them in my younger years. My co-parent and I would often rescue abandoned dogs and at one point had 4 or 5 dogs (plus 2 cats and a small child) running around our cramped home! These days, I just have one cat who lives with a friend, while I stay with my parents and their 2 dogs! All that to say, I love animals and would be more than happy to care for yours. I have been called upon over the last couple years to care for dogs, cats, parakeets, ducks and chickens. I wouldn't consider myself a trainer by any stretch, but have taught a few of my pet dogs to "sit", "shake", "lay down" and "wait". If you have active dogs, I am more than happy to run around and help exert some of that energy. If you have lazy dogs, I'm just as happy to lounge around and give endless belly rubs! I hope you consider me to care for your fur family! :) I typically work throughout the week, but can be flexible to your pets needs. For drop-ins/walks, I can usually be available in the morning, early afternoon and night, just depends on the day. I live with my parents, so I'm unable to do pet care in my own home, but will gladly do so in yours and treat your home with respect.

About: I have never had an animal not love me at first sight. I have had 3 dogs and raised 4 cats so I am very familiar with animals I am currently in college so my schedule allows for me to stay the night with your pets or just come and check on them any time necessary. At least 2-3 times a day. More if needed I keep my animals safe, secure, and well fed. I will treat your pet like my own and give them lots of love and treats if so permitted.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
