“My dog Simba loves going to Kristine’s house for boarding and daycare! It makes me feel at ease that he is having fun, getting exercise, and not anxious there despite his high separation anxiety. Kristine sends pictures and loves all dogs like her own. Simba even knows which house is hers and sprints from the car to her front door! Would highly recommend!!!!”

“Dan and Holly watched our puppy, Roxy, for 4-5 days when we went on a trip to AZ a few weeks ago. My husband, two boys, and I knew that Roxy would be taken care of and be well loved! Of course we missed her while we were gone, but Dan and Holly are great communicators and sent pictures and messages to assure us that Roxy was doing well! Roxy LOVES spending time with Dan, Holly, and the dogs!”
“Yshonda has great communication and is very fast at responding. Hotch loves his time with her and he is always so excited to go and play! He always comes home exhausted from a day full of love and playtime!”

“Mandi was great! Good communication and pics and videos during the visit. Would definitely recommend Mandi and will look for her availability next time I need a Rover sitter for my dog”

“Amazing communication and pictures throughout. Soba had such a great time hanging out with Tracie and Penny! She was totally pooped from all the fun we had by the time we got home. Would definitely bring soba back without hesitation.”

“Drew and Rue are awesome hosts! Luna and Rue became fast friends and they spent a lot of time playing and running around. Drew was kind enough to send pics and video to this nervous fur mom. He also asked if she had any particular routines to follow which was so appreciated. Luna has been good and tired out today so I could get some work done after I picked her up! Highly recommend Drew and Rue, we will be regular clients of theirs moving forward.”

About: I love dogs and animals - they really are the best! I have owned three for many years, raising two from being puppies, and addressing challenging behavior with an older doggo, in addition to fostering multiple rescue dogs. I recently moved to WI, and my pets stayed home with my partner for now, and miss my furry companions and want to provide love and care for yours while I’m here! I am happy to work with you on what’s best, whether that is house sitting, boarding, or simply letting your animals out on walks or to go potty. Let’s chat! I currently work from home and have a remote job, so can provide your dog with any needs or attention that makes sense based on their schedule. I have some in-person meetings that occur throughout the week, and am generally around on the weekends regularly. If planning on boarding or daycare, I now live in a home with a nice backyard. I can easily crate, take out for potty breaks, etc. I am also mindful of dog reactivity regardless of my own or neighbor’s dogs.

“My partner and I wanted to spend a couple of hours on my birthday at some places that don't allow pups - after quick and easy communication with Michelle, we booked daycare with her. Our pup is very social with dogs and people but is always super cautious at first. When we dropped Navi off, she was a bit skittish and didn't really want to go in the house. This left us feeling a bit worried. However, Michelle immediately sent us an update with pictures after we drove away showing Navi explore the house and the backyard. Throughout the day I received so many pictures and videos of Navi playing in the pool and with other pups. It genuinely was the best birthday present I could have asked for. It made us so happy to receive so many updates showing Navi living her best life with her new friends. It was clear Michelle loves doing what she does and cares for every pup like they are her own. If we are ever in the Milwaukee area again, we would love to have you watch after our girl again! Thank you again, Michelle!”

“Genesis took amazing care of my dog Lula! I love that she took so many cute photos and videos and kept me updated throughout the entire day. Lula had a great time and felt so comfortable with her. I will definitely book with Genesis again! :)”

“My very anxious mini bernadoodle immediately bonded with Ray! She had a great time and came home with exhausted! Ray is conscientious and loving, my dog loves her! We will definitely call her the next time we need someone to watch Georgie!”

“Maria and Nayibe were absolute lifesavers! They were available last minute to watch our dog while we went on vacation to catch a baseball game, and they went above and beyond to make sure our pup was well taken care of. They sent regular updates with videos and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. They were incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and clearly cared about our dog as if he were their own. As a generous surprise, they even sent us home with a pack of treats for our road trip back—such a kind and thoughtful gesture. We couldn’t recommend Maria and Nayibe more highly and would absolutely trust them again in the future!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with all ages—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I’ve also volunteered with multiple organizations to foster and house dogs, which has given me hands-on experience with different temperaments, routines, and special needs. I’m comfortable with basic training and reinforcing good behavior, and I can administer medications when needed. I truly love animals and treat every pet like my own. I have a dog named Ziggy who is both dog- and cat-friendly, and I make sure all introductions are safe and positive. I work from home Friday through Monday, so I’m able to provide lots of attention, supervision, and companionship during those days. I’m very active—I’m a runner and take frequent walks—so your dog will get plenty of exercise, stimulation, and outdoor time if they enjoy it. Whether your pet needs playtime, structure, or just a calm and caring environment, I’m here to provide it. I speak both English and Spanish and am willing to to accommodate! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I work from home Friday through Monday, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I prioritize reliability and consistency so pets feel comfortable and owners feel confident. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where animals can feel secure. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding routines, medication, and any specific needs. “Alex was great to work with! Unfortunately my dog was a little too anxious to make it the full day but Alex was patient and transparent which I really appreciated.”

Veterans Affairs dog parents share their Rover experiences
Yshonda was absolutely wonderful to work with. We were a bit nervous because we have two fur babies with two different personalities and unique needs and Yshonda was very accommodating and flexible and was able to set our minds at ease. The babies are comfortable with her and seem to really enjoy her company. She’s friendly, personable and obviously loves dogs. She’s an amazing sitter and I would recommend her to anyone especially people who have never tried a dog sitter before. Check her out!

We could not have asked for a better sitter. From the moment we picked up our dog, it was clear she was so well cared for and genuinely happy. We received great updates, and it gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dog was in such loving , attentive hands. You can tell she truly cares about the animals she watches. We are incredibly grateful and would absolutely book with her again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Katie and Mike enough! I needed a sitter last minute, and they were incredibly responsive and accommodating. My dog is very timid when meeting new people, and she was clearly nervous when I first dropped her off. She spent most of the day with Mike, who was so patient and gentle with her. He kept me updated throughout the day with messages and photos, and it was great to see her getting more comfortable and relaxed as time went on. They’re a truly wonderful family, and I’m so grateful for the care and attention they gave my pup!
