Availability

I work from home and have availability to monitor how your pet is doing all day. Your dog will be in the same room as me all day long and won't be crated unless you want me to. I have loved being able to stay home with my dog, Rue, since I began working from home almost two years ago and I have capacity easily to watch another dog. I like having a companion for my dog, Rue, to have around too! My weekends are pretty very available until July 2026 and I don't really have any major things I plan to be out of town for. I spend most of my time at home and don't really go out much.

A typical day

A typical week day starts off with letting the dogs out in the morning right away to stretch their legs and do their business. Next is breakfast. I start my work day and plan to have the dogs rest to digest their breakfast in my office. After a couple of hours I take a short break from work to let the dogs stretch their legs outside and play in the backyard. I repeat the same thing every couple of hours while I work. After work I will take the dogs for a 20-30 minute walk and then feed them again. The rest of the night will be relaxing at the house and making sure they go out before bed. On weekends I start with a longer walk in the morning and take dogs to the park to play and let them run around. The rest of day will be at home to hangout around the house with short breaks to run outside and a time shorter afternoon walk.

Pet care experience

I truly love dogs and seeing them happy truly brings me joy! If you choose to board or setup day care your dog with me they will have a companion, my dog Rue! My dog, Rue, loves to play and socialize with other dogs! In Milwaukee at my house, I have a fenced back yard where your dog can get exercise and easily go to the bathroom throughout the day. I work from home, so your dog will be nearby me all day to monitor how they are doing. I take short breaks to let the dogs go out and play. I live with my fiancée who also loves dogs and caring for them equally as much as I do. I look forward to having the opportunity to get to know and take care of your dog! And you will have peace of mind knowing that you are placing your dog with somebody that truly wants to make sure your dog is well taken care of. I do doggy day care or board for one owner’s dog at a time to create a more relaxed and quiet environment. To be straightforward I am just getting started as a sitter and walker through the Rover app, but over the past two years I have boarded my mother-in-laws puppy to now two year old dog for long periods of time regularly and for periods up to two weeks. I’m primarily looking for owners who would be looking for repeated or regular doggy day care or boarding. My number one thing is to make sure all parties and the dogs are comfortable with each other before accepting a doggy day care or boarding request! Now accepting dog walking requests around the Wauwatosa area!

Drew took a same day booking and took great care of my dog! He sent photos and a video for updates and it looked like my pup got along great with his dog Roo. Would definitely recommend!

Drew and Rue are awesome hosts! Luna and Rue became fast friends and they spent a lot of time playing and running around. Drew was kind enough to send pics and video to this nervous fur mom. He also asked if she had any particular routines to follow which was so appreciated. Luna has been good and tired out today so I could get some work done after I picked her up! Highly recommend Drew and Rue, we will be regular clients of theirs moving forward.

Drew is an amazing dog dad who would welcome your pup with open arms. He is caring, responsible, and makes it a point to ensure Rue gets all of the exercise, love, and R&R that she needs.
