About: Hi! I’m deaf, I have a new cochlear implant. I can read lips and signs/speak. I’ve been taking care of my neighbor’s cats while they were on their trip! I’ve feed them, played with them. I’ve cleaned the litter box for a year or so. In the past summer, I’ve stayed the nights and feed the dogs and took them for walks, played with them. I’ve experienced with adult cats and adults/senior dogs. I’m a college student and I’m available for weekdays, weekends, I can stayed the nights one of those days if you planned on going a trip for weeks! I’ll be happily to take care of your pets while you're gone! I have a fenced yard and have two dogs to keep your pet company. I can crate your pet if needed. About: I would be willing to watch your dog in my home that I share with my wife, Mellisa and sons Nate, 13 and Nolan, 11 and our 9 year old cat, Mango. We have owned pups for most of our lives. Mellisa works from home and my schedule is very flexible; therefore, we will be home to tend to your pets needs. We live on an acre in a dog friendly neighborhood in La Grange. If you would like to discuss the possibility of you hosting your dog with our family... send me a message. Mellisa currently works from home and I have a very flexible schedule as well. Therefore we will be able to tend to the needs of your fur baby. I have two children who love animals and will be right there playing and walking with your pet. We also have a crate available if needed.

About: Our family currently has 8 pets ( 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 1 rabbits.) Inside our family unit pets are a responsibility of love we all take on. This has allowed my children to see the deeper side of what it takes to love an animal. Slowly gaining trust with each pet has become second nature to us. I Grew up my whole life with animals, but personally started caring for pets myself at 16 starting with a ferret. We have walked the road of behavioral issues to old aged pets as well. This year I started pet sitting and decided to continue that journey. Thanks for considering our family to care for your family while you're away. We are a homeschool family which allows our time to be extremely flexible. While we are busy, we are also the only ones dictating our time. So we manage time well and around the families we are helping. Obviously during summer school is out for us and the fun begins. At our home we have a fenced section and an electric fence for our pets that covers 4 acres. If your pet is trained on this type of fence he/she can run the whole yard. If they are not trained on electric fences they can run in our fenced in area attached to the back of our home. Inside that fenced in area is another fence around our unground pool. We are offering doggie swim & splash time in the inground pool. We will also have a baby pool they can jump in. We have 4 dog kennels in our air conditioned/ heated garage for boarding when they are not playing outside. Garage door will be kept shut and only a side locked door will be used to enter in and out of. I will also be getting dog first aid/CPR certified soon. Our vets office is 2 minutes down the road from us as well. I will also be cleaning the kennels between each dog with the same chemicals the vet uses to kill diseases and is safe for animals. Knowing your dogs temperament and personality will help us secure his/her safety and others. We have a questionnaire to help us get to know your pet and it’s needs.

About: I've cared for animals my entire life. Animals in my home are well loved; including baths if requested, exercise, and lots of play! I'm very accommodating. I work full-time from home, mostly on virtual meetings spread throughout the day. I'm up early each day and always ready for a nice walk! My yard is mostly fenced, but dogs would be kept on a leash for safety. Pets are welcome to sleep on any furniture. Food and water is available at all times in the kitchen.

About: I’ve been taking care of cats for over half my life now! I truly love cats and always volunteer to take care of my friend’s cats when they go out of town. I’m also a volunteer with Kentucky Humane Society and Purrfect Day Cat Cafe. I work as a receptionist at a vet’s office and I’m familiar with extensive medical care, including ER Animal hospitals in the area. I can pretty much accommodate any schedule as long as I know ahead of time when you will need me to care for your cat or dog I will not be caring for pets in my home because our pets do not love other animals unfortunately. I am more than happy to come to you though.

“We went to Florida for a 10-day vacation and had to leave our Golden Retriever at the house in Jeffersonville. Mackenzie would come every day for walks and eventual water/food replenish. And she was just awesome! She took really good care of our dog and of the house as an extension. Our dog is very shy and not used to be being around strangers. But she was very understanding when he didnt want to walk much, gave him cookies and all the care he needed. We were relieved to know our dog was in such good hands while we were hundreds of miles away. We will certainly be a repeat customer. Thank you so much!”

About: I have always loved dogs ever since I was a little girl. I dog sit for a family friend anytime they need me. They continue to ask me to dog sit, so I would say that is a success. I will love your dog like they are one of my own. We will enjoy walks, play time and lots of cuddles. Our best friend is a vet so if any emergency situation should happen, we have an immediate resource. I am currently a stay at home mom so your pet would have lots of attention of activity throughout their stay with us. We have plenty of time and energy for walks and playing outside. Pets that come to our home will be treated like our own. They will get daily activity, walks and outside play. They can easily be crated if that's what they are used to.

About: I have been taking care of pets for over 2 years. I love all pets no matter what type! I understand that pets are family and require the best care! My current work schedule allows for me to be off in the summer! I want to use that time to take care of pets! I love my dogs like family and I will yours too! I can take care of your pet the way you need me to. I have experience with walking, crating, or letting dogs out in the yard. Whatever your needs are, I can deliver.

About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

“We had a great experience with Jerome. He was responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. Jerome showed up on time and updated us using the Rover app. He was very calm and patient with our very young, energetic, but sometimes stubborn dog who sometimes decides that he's had it with walking and refuses to go anywhere but home. Highly recommended! Thanks Jerome!”

“We can not say enough good about Lindsey's care for our dogs while we were away. Loved the daily updates and pictures! We will be calling Lindsey for dog training in the near future. Thank you!!”

About: Hi there, I’m Elliana - it’s so nice to meet you! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs. I adore both cats and dogs, and I enjoy everything from long walks and playtime to activities that keep pets mentally stimulated. I’m trained in animal safety and always keep an animal CPR guide on hand. I have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs, providing puppy training, and caring for multiple pets at once. I’ve also looked after pets for families on extended trips of two weeks or more, ensuring they receive plenty of love, attention, and routine care. Whether you need daily walks, play sessions, or extended pet sitting, I’d love to be a helping hand for you and your fur baby! :) I'm currently between jobs/working part-time, so I have plenty of time to devote to pet care. I'd be able to provide multiple walks or check-ins throughout the day if needed. I enjoy long walks during the evening hours. I welcome higher-energy pets as well. My first priority is understanding each pet’s unique needs and their owner’s expectations. Clear communication is important to me so I can ensure that I'm providing the safest and most comfortable experience possible. During walks, I stay fully present, I typically don't like to be on my phone while I'm on a walk. I’m always alert to potential hazards, avoiding anything that could harm your pet.

We would love to host your fur baby at our house or drop in just to give them some love! We have 2 kids who have been raised around animals. Our normal attire is dog hair so we’re not afraid of some shedding. About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life, and have treated each one like my own children. I believe a dog’s care is a vital responsibility, as they are a cherished part of the family. Be it to check on your dog while you're away, make sure they get the love and play they need, or to make sure they enjoy a good trip outdoors, you can vacation or leave town knowing when you return, one of the most important things in your life was safe, respected, and loved. I have a full time job, so mid-day weekday visits are a challenge, but am fully free on weekends, mornings, and evenings. Mainly weekends, but can walk and check-in most evenings. I can house sit during the week and weekends whenever I am in town for it. Each home/apartment owner has their own rules and needs. My goal is to follow them to the letter. From feeding and care instructions, to activities allowed, I'll invest in the structure familiar to the pet while offering all the affection the dog is comfortable with receiving.

About: I am a dog lover! My family always had dogs growing up and I have gotten to be “dog mom” to two sweet rescue doggos. Currently, my husband and I have a 2 year old mix, Millie, that we adopted from the Little Rock animal shelter! I’m available most evenings and weekends :) I would love to do walks, make sure they’re fed and watered, and play with your dog! I communicate well and am respectful of your space.

Nicole G.
“Nicole is by far the best cat sitter I have ever had. She has taken care of my cats many times over the last decade and I could not recommend a more caring, attentive, animal loving person to care for your fur baby. She fully understands how important my kitties are to me and treats them like they are her own. I have had shy cats, active cats, and sick cats that she has tended to throughout the years and I can always rest easy traveling, knowing they are in the best hands with her. She knows exactly how to cater to all of their little personalities and needs.”

Kayla S.

“Kayla and I have been friends for about 6 years and neighbors for 1.5. When my husband and I adopted our dog, Luna, from Derby City Dog Rescue, most of our friends didnt have experience being around pitbulls and some were hesitant or curious about her. Kayla (and her husband Tyler) were so gentle and loving to her right off the bat and helped her feel safe and secure in our home. Whenever they come over, Kayla always makes a point to greet Luna on her level and give her lots of pets! She and Tyler have been the BEST dog-loving neighbors by feeding and/or letting our girl out if my husband and I are at work for several hours at a time. I believe dogs can read people and Luna (with plenty of reasons not to trust humans) trusts them. We take our dogs on walks together often - especially during the warmer months. I cannot recommend Kayla enough to be a fantastic dog sitter/walker for your furry family member. ”

Melinda B.
“Melinda is amazing with my animals. When she shows up at the house, my dogs go crazy with excitement ! She saved my butt one time before vacation and I’ll never forget it! Thanks to her we was able to go on vacation! She’s an amazing person that is very loving and caring. We suggest her to everyone because we know she will take such good care of everyone’s animals!”

Nita R.
“Nita has watched my 2 dogs a Shar Pei and a mixed breed puppy who are a handful as such and she is great with them, has no trouble getting them to do whatever she needs. Whether its taking their meds, stop chewing up my stuff, going outside or in general just listening. She also watches our cats as well so she is an all around great pet sitter, she's not afraid of our mice either. Make sure you call her for any of your needs you won't be disappointed.”

“Elliana is the most kind and responsible person I know. She is the only person I trust with my dogs, because they are my life.”

Serame B.
“I have a very small 3lbs yorkie that has a very sensitive stomach. Serame is one of the few people that I trust to keep her over night! Tillie (my fur baby) can be a lot sometimes with her barking and hand biting as she is VERY playful. Serame is always patient and always attentive.”

Chasity J.
“Chasity is a responsible and caring individual. She takes pride in everything that she does. I believe she would be a great caregiver for pets!”

Casey & David L.
“My family has known Casey for many years and have always found her to be trustworthy, responsible, caring and able to think on her feet. The genuine loving care that she shows to her dogs is heartwarming. I trust her to take care of my own pets without reservation.”

Her career choice as a vet tech and the schooling she has gives her the knowledge to properly care for and handle your dogs. I would trust her to walk or pet sit my dog any time.”
