About: Hi! I’m deaf, I have a new cochlear implant. I can read lips and signs/speak. I’ve been taking care of my neighbor’s cats while they were on their trip! I’ve feed them, played with them. I’ve cleaned the litter box for a year or so. In the past summer, I’ve stayed the nights and feed the dogs and took them for walks, played with them. I’ve experienced with adult cats and adults/senior dogs. I’m a college student and I’m available for weekdays, weekends, I can stayed the nights one of those days if you planned on going a trip for weeks! I’ll be happily to take care of your pets while you're gone! I have a fenced yard and have two dogs to keep your pet company. I can crate your pet if needed. If something happens, I will let you know and asked what I can do for pets safety. I can take them out for walk or backyard to cool off then give them a treats if they are doing well.

About: I would be willing to watch your dog in my home that I share with my wife, Mellisa and sons Nate, 13 and Nolan, 11 and our 9 year old cat, Mango. We have owned pups for most of our lives. Mellisa works from home and my schedule is very flexible; therefore, we will be home to tend to your pets needs. We live on an acre in a dog friendly neighborhood in La Grange. Therefore we will be able to tend to the needs of your fur baby. I have two children who love animals and will be right there playing and walking with your pet. About: Our family currently has 8 pets ( 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 1 rabbits.) Inside our family unit pets are a responsibility of love we all take on. This has allowed my children to see the deeper side of what it takes to love an animal. Slowly gaining trust with each pet has become second nature to us. I Grew up my whole life with animals, but personally started caring for pets myself at 16 starting with a ferret. We have walked the road of behavioral issues to old aged pets as well. This year I started pet sitting and decided to continue that journey. Thanks for considering our family to care for your family while you're away. We are a homeschool family which allows our time to be extremely flexible. While we are busy, we are also the only ones dictating our time. So we manage time well and around the families we are helping. Obviously during summer school is out for us and the fun begins. At our home we have a fenced section and an electric fence for our pets that covers 4 acres. If your pet is trained on this type of fence he/she can run the whole yard. If they are not trained on electric fences they can run in our fenced in area attached to the back of our home. Inside that fenced in area is another fence around our unground pool. We are offering doggie swim & splash time in the inground pool. We will also have a baby pool they can jump in. We have 4 dog kennels in our air conditioned/ heated garage for boarding when they are not playing outside. Garage door will be kept shut and only a side locked door will be used to enter in and out of. I will also be getting dog first aid/CPR certified soon. Our vets office is 2 minutes down the road from us as well. I will also be cleaning the kennels between each dog with the same chemicals the vet uses to kill diseases and is safe for animals. Knowing your dogs temperament and personality will help us secure his/her safety and others. We have a questionnaire to help us get to know your pet and it’s needs.

About: I've cared for animals my entire life. Animals in my home are well loved; including baths if requested, exercise, and lots of play! I'm very accommodating. I work full-time from home, mostly on virtual meetings spread throughout the day. I'm up early each day and always ready for a nice walk! My yard is mostly fenced, but dogs would be kept on a leash for safety. Pets are welcome to sleep on any furniture. Food and water is available at all times in the kitchen.

About: I’ve been taking care of cats for over half my life now! I truly love cats and always volunteer to take care of my friend’s cats when they go out of town. I’m also a volunteer with Kentucky Humane Society and Purrfect Day Cat Cafe. I work as a receptionist at a vet’s office and I’m familiar with extensive medical care, including ER Animal hospitals in the area. I can pretty much accommodate any schedule as long as I know ahead of time when you will need me to care for your cat or dog I will not be caring for pets in my home because our pets do not love other animals unfortunately. I am more than happy to come to you though.

“We went to Florida for a 10-day vacation and had to leave our Golden Retriever at the house in Jeffersonville. Mackenzie would come every day for walks and eventual water/food replenish. And she was just awesome! She took really good care of our dog and of the house as an extension. Our dog is very shy and not used to be being around strangers. But she was very understanding when he didnt want to walk much, gave him cookies and all the care he needed. About: I have always loved dogs ever since I was a little girl. I dog sit for a family friend anytime they need me. They continue to ask me to dog sit, so I would say that is a success. I will love your dog like they are one of my own. We will enjoy walks, play time and lots of cuddles. Our best friend is a vet so if any emergency situation should happen, we have an immediate resource. I am currently a stay at home mom so your pet would have lots of attention of activity throughout their stay with us. We have plenty of time and energy for walks and playing outside. Pets that come to our home will be treated like our own. They will get daily activity, walks and outside play. They can easily be crated if that's what they are used to.

About: I have been taking care of pets for over 2 years. I love all pets no matter what type! I understand that pets are family and require the best care! About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

About: I've had dogs my whole life from small yorkies to big farm dogs. I also, have experience taking care of ailing 13 and 14 year old dogs that need special care. I love any and all dogs!! About: I have never pet sat before however I have owned and taken care of dogs, cats, fish, birds, and a rabbit I love animals and can’t wait to meet yours. I am 18 years old and a senior at New Albany High School. I work at Starbucks inside target however am looking to pick something up on the side I am very flexible and willing to work with you. As a young lady I am very safe meaning locking doors behind me and carrying pepper spray. I will make sure to protect the house and pets while sitting or going on a walk.

About: My husband and I have had dogs our entire life both big and small. We currently have a medium dog who is a dream to walk, and a large dog who walks us but we love both just the same! We would love to host your fur baby at our house or drop in just to give them some love! We have 2 kids who have been raised around animals. Our normal attire is dog hair so we’re not afraid of some shedding. We haven’t been able to stretch our legs out in our bed in 10 years because no matter how comfy our dogs bed is they always end up on ours so we don’t mind if they are on our furniture or bed!

About: Neighbors and family have trusted me to care for their animals while they are away on vacation/work trips. I pride myself on loving all animals as if they are my own. If someone trusts me to care for their pets, I will make sure they feel 100% comfortable with my care! I am currently working part time, and I am at home every night. About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life, and have treated each one like my own children. I believe a dog’s care is a vital responsibility, as they are a cherished part of the family. Be it to check on your dog while you're away, make sure they get the love and play they need, or to make sure they enjoy a good trip outdoors, you can vacation or leave town knowing when you return, one of the most important things in your life was safe, respected, and loved. I have a full time job, so mid-day weekday visits are a challenge, but am fully free on weekends, mornings, and evenings. Mainly weekends, but can walk and check-in most evenings. I can house sit during the week and weekends whenever I am in town for it. Each home/apartment owner has their own rules and needs. My goal is to follow them to the letter.
