About: Welcome! We're the Phenix family—a family of six (plus our two sweet dogs!). We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, and we strive to provide a safe, loving, and fun home away from home. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means visiting dogs are rarely left alone for more than a few hours and have plenty of opportunities to get outside. Safety is one of our top priorities. Our spacious backyard is fully fenced with a secure 4-foot wrought iron fence, giving dogs lots of room to run and play. We know some pups are talented escape artists, so our gates are secured with locks, and every guest wears an AirTag during their stay as an extra precaution—just in case we have a little Houdini on our hands! Our 2 resident pups are Athena (a Collie) and Lulu (a Beagle mix). Both are 10 years old, gentle, and experienced hosts. We've been dog sitting for over 9 years, so they're very comfortable welcoming new furry friends into our home. They're great at reading other dogs' body language and are happy to play or simply give visiting dogs their space if that's what they prefer. To keep everyone happy and healthy, all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and we only give treats and food provided by each owner to help avoid upset stomachs or dietary issues. We look forward to welcoming your pup into our family and treating them like one of our own while you're away! Our day starts with dogs being let out to go to the bathroom at 6am then breakfast. We have had some late sleepers stay with us, so we do adjust for our sleepy friends. Dogs have access to the backyard whenever they would like and we have plenty of dog toys for them to enjoy. We are happy to accommodate any feeding schedule, so we can keep your pup as close to their normal routine as possible. We have a fully fenced in yard with locks on the gates. Since we know some dogs are great at escaping, we have an air tag just in case.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child, but have had my 3 cats for 13 years now. I recently moved, so I let them live with my mom sadly, I do miss them. Outside of my cats, I have helped walk and care for other dogs the past few years. If you give special instructions on how you would like for me to care for your dog/cat, I will do exactly that since I will be coming to your place and/or walking them. UPDATED AS OF 6/16/26- for now please refer to this update until life gets less busy. I have a 2 year old so I cannot watch your animals at your home at this current time, but I would still love to drop in and take care of them through the day or take them on walks. The hours listed below are still correct 😊 I work Monday-Friday until 3:30pm, but I can also come before work, take my lunch to let your pups out for a potty break half way through my shift! I always am off on the holidays. I do have every Saturday and Sunday completely free. After 3:30pm on the weekdays I have the entire day to spend with your animals :) I will follow all your instructions you give me for caring for your animals. I can also take them on walks and runs and take them out for potty breaks. if they need to be fed at a certain time or need any type of medicine then that is very important to know in advance. Also knowing if they get along with other people/pets. we don’t want anything bad happening so knowing anything and everything about your pet(s) in advance is highly recommended.

We love giving belly rubs and making sure your fur baby is getting one on one attention while on their break. We ask that you bring anything that will make them feel comfortable including bedding, toys, treats and a leash and collar that are sturdy enough for your dog to be walked. While we do love your fur babies no matter how they come please make sure you are honest about house training and how you care for your pet so we can have a heads up. Multiple accidents in the house will increase rates. I am available most days and times. My open availability leaves you with piece of mind knowing there's someone that can help any time of the day. I have a big yard and will be spending lots of time outside. Really big on taking hikes, and playing ball. Staying hydrated will also be priority.non smoker.

I know what it’s like to care for an old dog that struggles with certain things. they would still get the exact same amount of attention as any other dog would. i’m very compassionate when it comes to animals. your pets needs are first priority. they’re happiness is what matters most. any pet of yours will be loved on, cuddled and cared for with me looking after them i don’t have a job but i’m still quite busy helping my family out during the week with therapy/doctor appointments. my brother is handicapped and so he has to go to therapy a few days a week all the way up in cincinnati which takes half a day. im also helping homeschool my younger brothers during the week. in my opinion i know the weekends would work the best bc I’m usually not doing anything which means that i could have my full attention on your pet(s). however we could always talk in advance about the schedule and i could make take time during the week work if needed They’ll have my full attention. I will always play with them to get them to exercise and have some fun. I can also take them on walks and runs and take them out for potty breaks. if they need to be fed at a certain time or need any type of medicine then that is very important to know in advance. Also knowing if they get along with other people/pets. we don’t want anything bad happening so knowing anything and everything about your pet(s) in advance is highly recommended.

My gentle giant st. Bernard and German shepherd are rough enough to play tug of war with the biggest of dogs but gentle enough to cuddle and protect a 5lb teacup Yorkie.
About: I am a state certified veterinary technician and also someone who has had a love for all animals since I was a kid. I've been helping all animals personally (and then professionally) for years...actually decades! I treat all fur-babies as I would my own. The unconditional love we receive from our pets is something I treasure and never take for granted. Whether young pups and kittens, or senior dogs and cats, I give them all the attention and love they deserve and crave (especially while their parents/owners are away). My schedule is currently wide open, as I have just moved back to Prospect, KY recently and am looking for the right fit in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital. My schedule is quite flexible, so I can work around yours. With my state certified veterinary technician license I am able to do things that others are not. I can also tell you what may be a start of an ear infection or allergies or nothing at all! I enjoy going to dog parks, taking walks, playing fetch (or keep away haha) but also enjoy the quiet calm time while rubbing bellies and brushing hair. Also dog massages for the senior dogs helps tons with their aches and pains and I more than willing to assist. It actually puts them in a calming trance. Cats and I are a sort of soul mate (maybe it’s the name haha) but I have dealt with watching 5 cats at an owners house and 3 of the 5 had special medical needs that I was more than happy to help! They started booking me a year out ahead of time if they could!
About: Ive taken care of cats and dogs for 3 years since I moved here and I especially love cats and i will keep them entertained I can take care of pets Monday through Saturday and will take care of them I will groom there fur and take them on walks I can walk them in the yard play with them outside feed them take them on potty breaks give them a bath if needed or just relax with them.

About: I have a few years of training puppies and senior care of dogs/cats under my belt. I was pre-vet in college, so I am qualified to deal with all kinds of furry (and not so furry) friends. I work from home 2-5 hours a day so I have plenty of time to hang out with my animal friends!! I workout a ton outside and would love an exercise partner. Most weekends I am either outside gardening or hanging with my own dog. Dogs- I own a doodle and am prepared with how to deal with dogs of all ages. Cats- I do not own any cats, but cat-sit my neighbors cat all the time. Lots of experience with them. All other furry friends- Since I was pre-vet, I was trained on how to deal with all kinds of animals. I have an invisible fence for my dog and I do live in a neighborhood. Most of my neighbors either don’t have dogs (so they won’t become aggressive with yours) or have pets that have crossed the rainbow bridge.

About: Welcome! We're the Phenix family—a family of six (plus our two sweet dogs!). We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, and we strive to provide a safe, loving, and fun home away from home. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means visiting dogs are rarely left alone for more than a few hours and have plenty of opportunities to get outside. Safety is one of our top priorities. Our spacious backyard is fully fenced with a secure 4-foot wrought iron fence, giving dogs lots of room to run and play. We know some pups are talented escape artists, so our gates are secured with locks, and every guest wears an AirTag during their stay as an extra precaution—just in case we have a little Houdini on our hands! Our 2 resident pups are Athena (a Collie) and Lulu (a Beagle mix). Both are 10 years old, gentle, and experienced hosts. We've been dog sitting for over 9 years, so they're very comfortable welcoming new furry friends into our home. They're great at reading other dogs' body language and are happy to play or simply give visiting dogs their space if that's what they prefer. To keep everyone happy and healthy, all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and we only give treats and food provided by each owner to help avoid upset stomachs or dietary issues. We look forward to welcoming your pup into our family and treating them like one of our own while you're away! Our day starts with dogs being let out to go to the bathroom at 6am then breakfast. We have had some late sleepers stay with us, so we do adjust for our sleepy friends. Dogs have access to the backyard whenever they would like and we have plenty of dog toys for them to enjoy. We are happy to accommodate any feeding schedule, so we can keep your pup as close to their normal routine as possible. We have a fully fenced in yard with locks on the gates. Since we know some dogs are great at escaping, we have an air tag just in case.
