About: I’ve taken care of dogs for almost my entire life. I got my first puppy when I was 5 years old and have loved dogs ever since. I’ve taken care of dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, taking the dogs for walks, feeding them, and giving them lots of love and attention. I’ve cared for all different breeds and have cared for puppies, adults, senior, and even disabled dogs. About: Hey I’m Caroline! My husband and I live with our 2 rescue dachshund mixes, Bert and Reggie, in Taberg, NY. I am currenly accepting new clients for drop-in visits and walking. I have over 20 years of experience with dogs, cats, chickens, small mammals, horses, birds and reptiles. About: I have over 10 years of hands-on professional dog care experience working in dog daycares, boarding kennels, and grooming facilities in both Colorado and New York. I’ve managed large daycare playgroups of 15–20 dogs, monitored interactions, redirected rough play, and maintained calm, structured environments. One of our daily staff challenges involved having an entire group line up and hold a sit at the same time—something I was proud to accomplish more than once. I also worked at a boarding and grooming kennel in Durango, CO owned by a competitive dog-show handler with extremely high standards. Because staff was small, I gained extensive one-on-one experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, including nail trims (even nervous dogs), coat-specific brushing, ear and dental care, bathing, drying, and boarding routines. I also handled front-desk responsibilities, scheduling, and check-ins. At home, I live with two very friendly dogs of my own—Cooper, a beagle, and Tucker, an Australian Shepherd–beagle mix. They are social, affectionate, and almost always carrying a ball around the house. We play daily enrichment games such as hide-and-seek: I’ll have them wait in another room while I hide their balls or bedtime treats, and when I let them out, them they make a mad dash to look for them. I use to board animals in my home until I sold my house just recently. Now, I travel to my clients homes. I mostly stay overnight and for more than one day because my clients go away on vacation. I do many services for my clients. I walk your animal, feed your animal whether if it’s can food, dry food or home made food which I have made home made food for my fur babies before and still do. I administer medication to animals, groom them, brush, bathe, keep them active and help them with their mobility, Play, do fun activities with my fur babies, train, keep them busy and entertained and plenty more. I go over and beyond for my fur babies and each and everyone always feels safe, comfortable, loved, happy and etc….. I have a lot of clients and some of them I care for during the Summer when they go away a lot and some of my clients I care for during the week and in wknds. About: Ive been around dogs my whole life. I worked at dog daycares, was a kennel tech at Petland and have years of animal sitting experience including dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens etc. I had a husky mix most recently for 8 years before she passed. ***dog must be okay with children*** I currently work evenings and am available most mornings/ days/ and late evening. Although I do not have a fully fenced in backyard, we do have a backyard, tons of parks around us, hiking trails and enclosed baseball fields. I allow doggos on my furniture and bed. I work evenings and typically 4-5 hour shifts. I usually take the dogs for a long walk or to the park prior to me going to work to make sure they’re tired/sleeping rather than bored while I’m away. I can also accommodate crating if needed. There’s a fenced in ball park down the street with plenty of side walks for walks. I allow animals on furniture and have plenty of blankets to keep them cozy.
