I was nervous to leave them for this amount of time especially because one is elderly and has some health issues. Janyl immediately put me at ease during our initial meet and greet. About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

When I got home about an hour after she had returned my furbabies from their walk they were excited to see me per usual but not jumping off the wall. I did get a movement alert from our camera facing the driveway, and it was her expertly handling both of my giant furbabies while leaving the house. I typically only work in the early morning at my regular job so I will have plenty of time for your furry babies. I can either stay with them or do check ins a few times per day. “Lindsey is a great dog sitter! I wasn't able to have my dog Zoe with me for Christmas this year, so she got to spend it with Lindsey and her family. Zoe was right at home there on "the farm" and really enjoyed being part of the family. She made some new friends with the chickens and horses and Lindsey's two dogs who were very friendly with Zoe. I highly recommend Lindsey if you have a dog who likes to be social and likes small children and other animals. Thank you Lindsey for taking such good care of my girl!”

“Irina watched our two dogs, Sparty and Boss, while we took a weekend trip up to Canada! We didn't have cell phone reception while we were there, but we when we got internet connection we came back to wonderful videos and pictures, as well as updates! We felt our dogs were in great hands with Irina and that they were safe. We absolutely plan to use her in the future with our two four legged family members.”
