“Minal was fantastic with our senior cat. This was our first time using a pet sitter and we were a little nervous leaving our home and our cat with someone unknown. We couldn’t be happier with Minal. She understood our cat’s temperament and her calm demeanor put him at ease. She sent videos and pictures during her time with him and was very prompt in replying with any answer to questions we had. We will definitely use Minal again.”

“Greeshma is amazing and sent great pictures! Our cat does not warm up to people easily, but she seems to love Greeshma! Would highly recommend anyone to book her.”

“Tirzah is very trustworthy and responsible! It’s my 2nd time booking her schedule. There was a tornado hitting my area. And it went out of power for several days. I was out of town and didn’t realize this situation. She came to check my cat right after the tornado for free without my request. I was very impressed by her kindness and responsiveness. So my baby boy didn’t freak out and didn’t starve/ get thirsty. Thanks a lot Tirzah! I really appreciate everything you did. You’re the best!”

“Laura is amazing!!! She's always so understanding and willing to work with me when it comes to my pup, any concerns or current things we're working on alongside keeping in the know of what she notices. It's nice to know the person watching your pet takes care of them as if they're their own, so I'd recommend her if you're looking for someone to love your pup!!!!”

“William is awesome! 10/10 recommend. We met prior to the booking to ensure a good fit for all parties. He is communicative, seems to care about my baby, and spent the time to take her on good walks as well as valuable playtime. I looked forward to pictures of Maple along with William’s description of the visit after each one! He had mentioned having a girlfriend in town during our meet & greet, so when he asked if she could join for one of the visits I was thrilled! More love for my girl. And I know had I told him I wasn’t comfortable with that he would have respected my choice, too.”

“Mia really went above and beyond to make sure my fur babies were well cared for and sent me lots of videos, photos, and positive commentaries on how they were doing. I will definitely be booking Mia for all my petsitting needs!”

“Cecille made an otherwise challenging process so effortless by being available with very little notice and by being communicative and flexible in making arrangements. Throughout the process, she was willing to go above and beyond my expectations to make sure my fur child was cared for, and in doing so, provided such valuable peace of mind. Cecille, thank you so much for your time and kindness!”

About: I grew up with dogs all my life-big and small. I love all animals and have had many different animals including snakes, tarantula, birds, cats other reptiles and of course dogs throughout my life. My friends have told me that I should work with animals because of my knowledge, how I teach and take care of animals. Friends come to me for advice about their animals. Not only do I love and respect animals I genuinely love and respect nature and the world. I'm retired so I have time for my animals and your animal babies too. Most of my time is spent with my grandsons and Anakin; my dog, outside doing yardwork or in one of many parks in St Louis. I walk my dog in my yard on leash or walk to the park down the street from my house, weather permitting. I can walk your dog the same way or come to your house to take care of your animal baby. I'm retired/disabled and have one dog to take care of at the moment. I'm at home most of the time so I have time and love for other people's pets too. The only other thing that keeps me busy are my 3 youngest grandsons who also love animals and I teach them to respect and to be kind to animals. *If you need a service but see in my calendar I'm not available you can message me because most of the days I'm not available is usually only for 3 to 4 hours during that day and I could possibly be available for what you need* I have one bird and I keep his cage clean, change his water regularly and make sure he has food. I have one dog at home that I take out on leash in my front yard, walk him as many days a week as possible to the park directly down the street from my house, I rub his belly, give him treats when he's a good boy and play with him with his toys. All the stuff I do for my animals, I would do for your animals as well.

“My second time working with Alexandra. She's always prompt and accommodating. And my little babies like to play with her. It took one of them a little bit of time to warm up... Cats... But now she probably won't be able to keep them off of her lol Thank you”

“David was a godsend for checking in on my Perry on Christmas Eve. I'm sure Perry enjoyed his visit especially the one on one attention. I would definitely recommend David and would hire him again when the opportunity arises.”

Caroline K.Star Sitter
“I could not be happier with my Rover dog walker, Caroline! I have two large dogs (Saint Bernard and Labrador Retriever) and finding someone who can handle both of them confidently was a challenge. From the very first meet and greet, I knew I was in great hands. Caroline was punctual, professional and clearly experienced with big dog breeds. Every walk is a highlight for my dogs. They come back happy, tired, and well-exercised, which is no small feat given their size and energy levels! I also love the updates and photos she sends after each walk - it's such a reassuring touch. Highly recommend Caroline for anyone with dogs who needs reliable, loving care!”

“Rose helped watch my cat right after he had a surgery for several weeks while I was away on an international trip. She made sure that my kitty recovered well and gave regular photo updates. She also gave him his daily medication to help him recover. I highly recommend her!”

Olivia W.
“Olivia has stayed at our house with our dog any time we have been out of the town for the past year, and we have been so impressed every time! Our dog absolutely adores her, and Olivia is sweet, attentive, and thoughtful. Because we've only had our pup for a year, there have been frequent adjustments in her care, whether that be exercise routine, medications, etc. Olivia always pays attention to these details and has made our time away easy; we can have peace of mind when she is here. Beyond knowing that our dog is in great hands with a loving caretaker, our home is always left in pristine condition. Olivia always takes the extra step - whether that's leaving a kind note, starting the dishwasher, putting fresh sheets on the bed, you name it! We cannot recommend her enough, and many of our friends have had the same wonderful pet-care experience with Olivia.”

Velda Village Hills cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kiwi is just amazing! She took great care of my cat for over a month and was super responsive and considerate the whole time. She also went out of her way to vacuum the area around the litter box during each drop-in visit. Please definitely consider Kiwi if you are looking for someone that’s caring, dependable, and knowledgeable!

Avi was great! She worked with us to get and return keys and meet our cats before our trip. She took care of feeding our cats, and even was able to make sure to give one cat his insulin shots. We got several pictures each day showing how the kiddos looked, and the seemed to warm up to Avi quickly. This was our first time using a pet sitter, and our experience was wonderful! I highly recommend Avi and Rover!
